On a completely unrelated note, do you guys think a melee Doom Marine based character would be a Fighter or an Oath of Vengeance Paladin?

One thing is obvious. We don't get much mileage out of the rogue side of the gestalt in this party.

Evasion and good reflex saves helped us out some in the caves, but sneak attacks on the offensive side are few and far between.

Blindness, Invisibility, Summoned Monsters, are a few of the things I can think of that could help.

The witch spell list isn't much geared towards buffing anyone.

Another obvious thing. Us spellcasters rule.

Edit: Gang Up? That sounds like something Some one with 13 int and combat expertise would use.

A cursory glance at stats reveals that nobody outside of the int casters has the int to qualify for it.

Though the brawler can cheat it.
If the brawler's Intelligence score is less than 13, it counts as 13 for the purpose of meeting the prerequisites of combat feats.

So, Ulthar was born half barbarian and mocked during recess by the mage kids until he punched them in the face. As such I can only pick Ironskin, or Mirror Image for new spells. Which sounds better? Defensively, anyway.

Ironskin isn't quite "free misses" like Mirror Image, but it should last longer since there's a hard limit on Mirror image. I would have ignored both for Blood Armor but then I actually read it.

Both have the same duration. It rather depends on how much else you intend to pursue AC since I tend to think of it as an 'all in' game. Though with ABP you do get a lot of free AC without investment.

Do you mean better from an objective optimization point or Kronug's better?

Because if the latter with one spell you get to yell "I'M TOUGHER THAN STEEL B&&!~ES, COME AT ME!" and the other makes you look like a wizard (i.e. a dork)

This opinion comes from the barbarian who has just decided "F@$% Blind-Fight" and will pick Improved Sunder so next time someone tries to magic us out of our Freedom of Sight I get to be angry and smash the fabric of reality until I can see again.

Both if you like. Course, I'm already considering Force Sword really strongly for my other spot. Is it good? No. Is it cool as f!@@? What a terrible question.

Yes, sorry, forgot I was addressing Kronug, let me rephrase that.

Noqual make shiny, hard sword. Kornug like.

Noqual also make shiny hard armor, protect Kronug good.

One minor change I would make in the description is where it lists the types of bonuses on things, switch them to 'material' because what they use is bloody stupid and makes the stuff offer very little for what trouble it is.

I see. A noqual breastplate would mean having decent armor when I am not angry, charging, attacking or all of above.

Friendship?

Went with Mirror Image on the grounds that I want to see what the hub bub is about. And Ironskin's shelf life due to APB. Spider Climb also looked nice enough to grab for when the Wall Climber ninja trick inevitably lets me down. That or touch of idiocy.

Mirror Image really is a great spell, though there are ways around it, especially if the GM permits cheese. Since I'm GM and trying to kill someone using it...

Though actually with ABP, many of the ways around it won't be there, so probably a good choice.

@Buzzard: Was that 5 potions of Cure Moderate?

I am adding a potion of remove paralysis and a potion of cure moderate to my character sheet

I am also adding the bestiary (I figure I've got the best Know(Dungeoneering))

These need to be claimed:

Remaining Potions:
2 lesser restoration
2 remove paralysis
4 cure moderate wounds
1 neutralize poison

Updated Rags to 7th: Torn between Spirit Talker, Accursed Hex, and Twist Away as a 7th level feat. Leaning towards Spirit Talker for flexibility and access to hexes I wouldn't otherwise have.

I may change that, because my Fort save is a little concerning.

Most of 'em can't even see in regular darkness.

I don't know if deeper darkness will ever happen again, but the TPK fest we just left would have been completely ridiculous if the drow in the back ranks had just started dropping their SLA darkness on the fight.

I guess it would be reasonable to exchange some of that fancy star metal for a bunch of bottles of oil of daylight.
