Kalim becomes frustrated at all the dire bears in his vicinity as he steps back five feet and unleashes a fiery scorching ray. Each of the ranged touch attacks hit home singing the beast's fur. It gets even angrier.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the tricky rogue starts to get the upper hand on his nearby opponents with his quickness but his single attack missed the target as his blade nearly falls out of his hand.

The caster stone giant smirks and enunciates a few words of power and a gaping hole appears under Kalim, Nym and the dire bear's feet.
