Wow I never realized how nasty Nauseated is.
This character can do almost nothing because of it. Lets just hope I recover soon.

Sorry for the lack of activity recently. I put in 3-6 hours of overtime every single day last week either for training or after shift paperwork... And then had a wedding Friday night, then Brewfest yesterday. I'm back on track today, but my folks are in town visiting this week, so my posting will likely be minimal the upcoming week.

![]() |

Uggg sometimes these fights just take forever!!!

![]() |

This is horrible =_= nauseated is very nasty... You think if urbar doesn't wash long enough that I could het the same effect?

![]() |

Help me remind that I need to give him some more umpfh to... How many times going down does it take to leave permanent damage? :P

![]() |

Poor Urbar... These baddies really do not like you. I would definitely suggest bumping your AC right away with your purchases lol.

Steph, I cannot recall or not whether I let you know about the difference in CMD DCs for Gwen's different maneuvers. Her base CMD is 16 while her Grapple CMD is 19 and Trip CMD is 17. I was not sure if you knew what the 'G' and 'T' in my stats bar meant, so I wanted to just clarify it for you. If I hadn't done that already (which I may have... lol).

I can't remember you have, but thanks for pointing it out (possibly again)!

No problemo!

Next time we see fog, let's just all run away as quickly as we can! :) These Season 0 fights can be downright brutal!
I've been re-reading parts of the time I played this scenario with my elf ranger, Shayla. Our GM back then didn't use the fog ability the creatures possess, which made a world of difference.
Most of the fights went pretty different. It's quite fun to see how different parties use different tactics! :)
If you're curious to see the differences: the time I played this scenario. Just keep in mind I sometimes did stuff that's not possible, 'cause I was still rather new to Pathfinder! xD (Suddenly firing 2 arrows 'cause I thought I already applied for Rapid Shot, while I didn't. Or sheathing a sword while moving, which can't be done.)

For anyone who might be interested (hope you don't mind GM?)...
I am doing recruitment for a Mwangi Expanse homebrew game. Lvl 3, four person party, jungle exploration and such is the theme. Recruitment till the 7th of October.
Details- HERE

Hurray for new party members! I'm definitely going to put some points into intimidate next level... I feel like it would fit Gwen's personality, despite her negative Cha score. Out of curiosity what class/race is our new member?
Vic, if I wasn't already spread thin I would look into that game. Unfortunately I don't have the free time to join yet another campaign. :(

Tereze, not sure if you have Inner Sea Races; however, there is a Wondrous Item in there called Scarf of Glorious Histories for Varisians only that screams Tereze! It's a little pricey and takes up neck slot, but its one of those things that could be swapped out when needed and when not.
Essentially it grants +5 competence bonus to Intimidate and Perform (Dance) and if the wearer also has a kapenia, the item also grants +5 bonus to Knowledge (History) and allows all Know: Hist checks untrained. Pretty cool item, but 9000gp. If I have a bunch of GP laying around at later levels I think I'll pick one up Gwen.
This is assuming it makes it into the Additional Resources as legal of course...

I would have loved to join your game, but I have the same problem... Too many games already.

![]() |

Final change confirmed for Ery once this game is over, Sorc/Oracle Support caster. Not gonna be caught like this again.

![]() |

@Gwen. No I don't have Inner Sea Races, but the item sounds very interesting... I may need pick up the PDF.
However, don't we need to get that as a reward on our chronical sheet to pick that up? As this is all a season 0 game that would mean there's zero chance that could ever happen, right?

You can purchase everything that's legal in PFS and is considered "always available" as long as you have the respective book/PDF. Items on your chronicle sheets are added to the "always available" list for your character. Items that aren't on your character's "always available" list require you to wait till you have enough Fame to make them available.
Example: a Belt of Strength isn't considered "always available" and costs 4000gp. If you have 13 Fame you can purchase items that aren't on the "always available" list that cost up to 3000gp. This means you'll have to wait till you have 18 Fame till you can purchase the Belt of Strength, because then you're allowed to purchase items that cost up to 5250gp.
To purchase an item that costs 9000gp and isn't "always available" you'll need 27 Fame.

What he said! lol

So I've got all kinds of supportive abilities that compliment Tereze as far as spells go. and I'm capable of kicking the crap out of undead...and nasty things like this in the future. WOo!

![]() |

Will only add some armor stuff to Urbar. I love his damage capability! :D

![]() |

You mean when he's not face down in the mud?

![]() |

Yes when he is not face down in the mud... :P He just likes to sleep a lot!

![]() |

He wants to hug the ground with his face. I understand :P

![]() |

Sooooon *drool*

Steph! Just have it die!
I wish to meet our new member and carry one in the realm of lvl 2. Excitement!

Steph! Just have it die!

Since it is Society, GM has his hands tied.
I'd love to attack but pretty sure disabled can't do that.

![]() |

I know the Society has his hands in knots but we have 3-4 people kicking this thing while its pinned...for the love of all that is tabletop goodness, let it die.

![]() |

Vicard... Attack away:)

StephNyan |

Society rules give the GM a chance to interpret things his own way in certain situations, like when doubt about rules arises or the scenario isn't very clear on something. The guide also emphasizes something along the line of fun being the main focus.
After a month of combat you now have the creature pinned with close to zero chance for it to escape, and everyone's attacking it while Gwen holds it in place. For fun's sake, I believe I'm allowed to say it's over when the outcome's so incredibly crystal clear.
Congratulations on finishing yet another scenario, and reaching level 2! The last fight dragged on for quite a while, but you pulled through and the last creature didn't stand a ghost of chance at the end! :D
The chronicle sheets will follow soon, but you may go ahead and start leveling. The new member of your team will be introduced at the start of the new scenario! ;)

Another fun module, GM. A Little dissapointed we didn't get transported to another plane, but there is always next time!
I think I'm just going to level this build. He seemed to be useful.
Do you need a character sheet GM or just update our profile?

It'd be nice if you'd update your profile on paizo. That way I can just click your name and see everything I need to.

![]() |

Yes, good module, although the final battle was quite harsh with the AoE nauseate. It could have easily been worse as we were mostly incapacitated!
Luckily Gwen is a beast.
Is our new player going to drop by in Discussion for some OOC talk?
