Chronicle sheet time! :D
Eryzule
Fiona
Gwendallyn
Tereze
Urbar
Vicard
And don't forget to check your Faction Journal Cards, to see if there's a condition you cleared during this scenario! :)
The next scenario is 0-13: The Prince of Augustana. I'll start it up once everyone's ready to start, so let me know when you're ready.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

Ill be set. Just gonna add gold and stoof
Urbar Anden
|
I have bought some new stuff/sold some old stuff. Is it possible to buy a wand of clw or a wand of lead blades already?
Gwendallyn
|
Just about done... but wanted to see what you guys think about the whole Wand of Infernal Healing. Mechanic-wise its far better than a Wand of CLW, but RP-wise.... I don't know.
I'd like to have the group weigh-in on this one since we're going to be together for the long haul. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Thought Infernal healing only worked on demon blooded?
Vicard Inck
|
"You anoint a wounded creature with devil’s blood or unholy water, giving it fast healing 1. This ability cannot repair damage caused by silver weapons, good-aligned weapons, or spells or effects with the good descriptor. The target detects as an evil creature for the duration of the spell and can sense the evil of the magic, though this has no long-term effect on the target’s alignment."
It appears that it would work on anyone? But would you have to be evil to use the wand right?
"School conjuration (healing) [evil]; Level cleric/oracle 1, magus 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, summoner 1, witch 1"
I have to say though, Gwen...aren't we supposed to be the good guys?
Gwendallyn
|
Technically in PFS anyone can use an Evil descriptor spell as the Power-That-Be have decried that it isn't the spell itself, but rather how it's used that determines good/evil/neutral; however, being that Gwen is good aligned and that is a rather nasty spell, that is why I wanted to get your thoughts on it.
And Vicard's reply is what I looking for! So, I'll just pick up a wand of CLW and call it done I think.
Gwendallyn
|
It's not a bad one to have in your Formula book, Vic! I took it as a spell known for my Investigator and then leave one of my daily spell slots open just in case we need something like an emergency CLW. Though we do have our awesome Life oracle AND Fiona has the Healing Hex... so I don't think you even need to really put that in your Formula book, Vic.
Urbar Anden
|
I am buying both wands then. CLW for... well you know ;P And lead blades would increase my potential damage. I will buy both wands with PP, combined with two spring loaded wrist sheaths.
Urbar Anden
|
The CLW is a necessary thing in my opinion :) The private island has to wait a little longer. But if I heal a certain person I might get a weekend on a very beautiful private island a little faster ;P
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

So...what your saying is that buy healing someone, One may get Felicio? His logic is sound. Quickly! Someone get a healing stick!
Gwendallyn

This just got awkward, real fast...
So, I just need to quickly update my character sheet and then Gwen is good to go! I'm ready to start whenever the rest of you are.
*EDIT*
Next level I'm buying an Ioun Torch...
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
<---will reduce the level of awkward for future references.
Gwendallyn
|
To be honest, I have no clue what's coming lol! However, I was looking over somethings that would nice to have, just simple little items like an Ioun Torch, Wayfinder, things such as that which contain lots of utility ability.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
With new "Magic-Missile-Barrage" Ery on your side, We have all the utility we need!
Tereze Amnell
|
Ok, as you might have noticed My Avatar changed... Did it to reflect the loss of her long hair :(
For this adventure at least she's going to have a covered head as her hair grows back.
Also As we are listing what we bought: I picked up a Masterwork morningstar, masterwork silvered dagger and Breastplate and dumped my club/dagger/Scale mail.
Urbar Anden
|
Beside the wands and wrist sheaths I picked up a masterwork breastplate and two masterwork Sawtooth sabres. Sold the non masterwork versions.
Gwendallyn
|
Just RP Gwen....
I know! No worries, Vic, I don't take RP personally.
Also, Tereze, I like how you changed your avatar to match the hair loss. That's pretty cool. I'll have to add a little something in my next post in regards to that situation!
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
You know it's gonna be one of those days that cause mayhem if Ery is vouching for you.
Rock on.
Vicard Inck
|
To be honest, I doubt we'll get much information out of him. He is clearly around the bend pretty firmly. I just hope we can find the start without having to look through every alley in the city.
TO be meta...Society play is usually railed pretty firmly so perhaps the Venture Captain can tell us something.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Im enjoying myself.
Laughter is had.
Onward!
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Mr. Buzzkillington.
Urbar Anden
|
This is to be honest pretty fun ^^ Although I would prefer another kingly name as well!
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
You don't enjoy being refereed to as a dervish of meat mincing?
Tereze Amnell
|
Yikes, busy day at the office yesterday and you all post a novel!!!!
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Ery is immune to delusions.
Tereze Amnell
|
I think of it more of comforting the mentally ill. She is a healer after all.
Vicard Inck
|
At least I rolled well! That mostly makes up for it.
You'll have to host a Non-society game with us sometimes GM! Give you a chance to reward that sort of thing.
| StephNyan |
Faction missions:
Our masters demand our obedience and reward us with preeminence among nations. This power is ours alone! I am deeply troubled by the recent developments in Augustana, for if an insane beggar can call upon the anarchic power of demons and unleash chaos on the land, the very pillars of our society will be eroded!
The naive morons you serve do not realize that it is demons that their beggar prince has called forth. If he has somehow truly found a portal to another realm, or a way to open one, we must know. Find whatever you can about the origins of these demonic powers, even if just the spent remains of some arcane device, and bring them to us for study!
Achingly Yours,
Paracountess Zarta Dralneen
You are far from home and traveling among strange folk in strange lands. Know that you are not alone. Other agents of Osirion have gone before you and you may feel lost and alone, but another is far more so than you.
Pteliut the Keen was investigating the means by which foreigners move the relics they steal from our lands. From his last report, he was investigating a possible ring of smugglers among the sewers under Augustana. He has missed two check-ins since and we fear the worst.
You will know Pteliut by the tattoos of the crook and the flail on his wrists. Find him if you can. If he lives, aid him if he needs it, but do not unveil his subterfuge.
Respectfully,
Amenopheus, The Sapphire Sage
This journey your fellow Pathfinders dispatched you on is a filthy waste of time and beneath your station. If they valued you as we do, surely they would not have you sully yourself thus. However, it is best to turn every situation to our advantage, and there is a means by which you can forward our cause.
There is a man known as the Almsman who lives among the beggars who hide in the Augustana sewers. Those who know of him praise his charitable works, but we know that in his heart he is a man of business. The Almsman has the connections and wherewithal to bring goods in or out of Augustana, while avoiding the unwanted scrutiny of the tariff assessors. We would like to establish contact with him.
Deliver to him the coded contact phrase “I met a man who wore a mask like yours in Absalom; he was a silk merchant.” His reply will begin “I know the man...” and then a code phrase indicating where and when we may meet with him. Pay careful heed to his response, and deliver the words he speaks to us through the normal means.
Kind Regards,
Pasha Muhlia Al-Jakri

Ery, I believe you've added a 1d4 too much:
"For every two caster levels beyond 1st, you gain an additional missile - two at 3rd level, three at 5th, blablabla, blablabla."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but judging from your profile you've cranked your Magic Missile up to CL 3, not CL 5.
If I'm wrong you can relocate that 3rd d4 wherever you wish.
Vicard Inck

Between the Sleep Hex and grappling, we take half the baddies out before the fight even properly begins.
Also, happy those tanglefoot bags keep missing! That could make things nasty. Or at least sticky.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

It's accurate, his traits give him +2 cl to MM as it stands. He basic casts at cl 3 then with his Arcane Exploit he adds a +2 CL with it. Boom cl 5! Potent Magic allows me to add +2 CL as appose to +1 CL with an expedeture of AR

Whoa, can't believe I looked over this before... Ery, you have 3 traits and a drawback. Drawbacks aren't legal in PFS. You'll have to remove it, together with one of your traits.
If you're keeping the traits that boost Magic Missile's CL, I'll keep them into mind from now on!

No worries. its done.
