Don't expect me to make posts this size very often. I usually don't get to post half the plot in one go :P
Not only do I expect it, but I expect it hourly. Obviously, you'll have to quit your job.

Good roll. Always good to make a perception check. And if the DC is higher then that, we are toast.

LOL. I am quite enjoying this group. So, I was looking at the new Kraken Style feats from Melee Tactics Toolbox and I cannot figure for the life of me why anyone would use the optional use of Kraken Throttle.
Suffocation takes way too long to ever be effective in combat. A baseline Con of 10 would provide 20 rounds before any serious negative effects. That's a really long time. Am I missing something?
You tighten your grip around your target’s throat.
Prerequisites: Wis 13, Improved Grapple, Improved Unarmed Strike, Kraken Style, base attack bonus +5 or monk level 5th.
Benefit: The damage that you deal with the Kraken Style feat on a successful grapple combat maneuver check increases to an amount equal to your Wisdom bonus + 2. While using this style, you can choke your opponent when you successfully maintain a grapple instead of choosing to damage, move, pin, or tie up your opponent. This suffocates your opponent (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 445). The grappled opponent can take a breath during any round in which you do not maintain the grapple.

Seems a bit useless.

tereze, you has been moved.

Choking could be useful for knocking out a enemy after combat is over I guess.
But in combat, agree it would take too long.
Ps yikes I go to work and you all write a novel!!!!

Well yeah.

Fiona, I'm very interested in the inner voice that your PC hears. Is that a representation of her patron? Or just part of her psyche? I you're not wanting to divulge that right now, can I ask a different question of you? Will that information ever be revealed IC?
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
True, but some things have to be strict in order for PFS to function. otherwise it would be way to chaotic.
Fiona Nic Cathár

Sure - it's a legitimate trade-off. I should probably also admit that based on my experiences on these boards, the PFS games were much more successful than the others (more player commitment, more finished games).
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

Success! PFS for the win!

Wow, today was dead for all of us, eh?

Now that's a bit disturbing...
I have the day off today, which means I should be able to make a few more posts! ;)
On another note; yesterday evening I felt so bad I had to lie down. If you wonder why I didn't post last evening, that's why. I'm feeling better now, and I hope it'll stay that way!

Ok question, can we use Mage hand to trigger the flow hatches?
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

I know I can't control him like an automation, i was just dicking around...no he's sad. :(
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

I believe I will invest in some offensive powers next level. Alas, Ery is useless in combat at the moment.

We are such a soft group. Urbar and Gwen will have to save us!

Tereze is a divine caster, surely she can blast undead with no issue!

Fire, you say? Vicard, if all else fails, unless these are incorporeal...undead burn the same as you and I...as a matter of fact...We should burn it all to a crisp- Damnit! that code book...

I was TRYING to hint that we should avoid fire. For several reasons
1. We'll burn down whatever evidence exists.
2. We'll kill ourselves in the resultant explosions (loose grain doesn't burn, it actually explodes).
3. We really didn't help matters, if we just burn all the food. Poisoned or burned, the city isn't much better off. Not heroic.

Tyr if she wasn't so scared of these things you may have gotten a far more reaction from her. But considering I'm boarding a plane that was the best I could do.
And Gwen, that's how I plan on fighting Ghosts....
To bad it doesn't do more damage....
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Right, right...and Heroic is good, yeah?
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
So I am understanding we don't want to blow the place up then. Alright...next time.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea
|
Yeah, no. that's fine.
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

This character, sadly, lacks the impulsiveness...and powers...to create such a fantastic display.
Fiona...however....
Eryzule, Lord of Tea

Where for thou Fiona!.
