I realized I never moved my token on the map... I just did... And then I'll do so again. So that's why I moved so far.

I just had a double post of what I just posted. The Roll was supposed to be a five, not a 15. So, y'know. It didnt work so well.

StephNyan |

This could be the final round.....thank goodness.
That'd be nice, but I expect we'll need at least 1 more round... :(

Oh no, now she'll figure you out after all! :P

Come on, you are the GM! Just say he comes down at us or something.
Anyway...
Do you want to delete my last post so I can re-do or not?

![]() |

I doubt we'll run into something this obnoxious again. It's almost over.

![]() |

Something tells me there is at least one more trick up this scenarios sleve.
After all we still have to get the mcguffin and there may be undead to fight there too

![]() |

Ok what's the stick thing and on the right is that a fire pit or a cave?
Oh and can we get cover behind the rocks?

![]() |

I thoroughly enjoy our little dysfunctional group. I cannot wait to see Fiona fully in action! :)
Also... 3rd level cannot come fast enough... Diefic Obedience for Falayna is down right awesome! Oh! Speaking of, Steph, I wanted to get with you about the stipulations for that. It says I have to put a jeweled ring on each finger and strike a practice dummy.
1) How much should I expect to pay per ring, do you think?
2) How could I obtain a mobile practice dummy? I was thinking something along the lines of something like a padded leather thing that Gwen could tie to a tree or even have someone hold up for her. That way she would always have something handy to fulfill her Obedience requirements. I have no idea what something like that would cost though...

I think the suggested innuendo is gold.

1) I have no idea what the stick thing is, but let's pretend it's just a random pole. The other thing looks like a fire pit to me. there's nothing written about a cave, so let's say it's indeed a firepit.
2) Yes, you can get cover there.

1) The only thing I could find on jewelry is this. I'm not entirely sure what'd be a realistic price for each ring, but I figure the jewelry doesn't have to be of a high quality. I don't think any GM will make a problem of the price if you spend about 50 gp a ring. Does that seem realistic to you?
2) There are many ways to make a practice dummy and what you suggest seems fine. Maybe you could use your own armor and stuff it with a blanket or bedroll, if you want someone to hold it up for you. That way it'd cost you nothing, because you already have all the items.

50gp sounds perfectly reasonable to me! I'm going to start building up Gwen's collection. Probably two rings per scenario, that would put me almost right on spot for 3rd level.
I like that plan! Or Gwen could just use Ery for her practice dummy.... "Ery, dear, could you come over here to my bedroll?" WHAM! lol :)

Steph, how do you want to handle the tokens for my summons?
Im planning to summon a celestial eagle , do you want to get a token or should I find one?
This is the first of many I might be summoning in this series of adventures.

I'd be nice if you could find your own tokens and put them on the map.
When the eagle's gone you can place the token on the side, off the map. That may be useful next time you summon an eagle.

Weird. I feel the same way against undead currently. But no one panic, I have a friend!

![]() |

<.< I feel so extra awesome.

Ready when you all are.

I finally know what that pole south of the door is for. There's supposed to be a riding dog attached to it, but I read over that part. It'd be strange to magically make it appear there now, so I guess you're lucky to have one less opponent.
And I seem to have used all my bad rolls for this week in the initiative rolls! xD

I love flat footed foes....

Hey Vicard, reference your question in the Gameplay thread. They do received a -2 penalty to attack, which Steph may have figured into Nessian's final attack bonus... and if he didn't already that -2 won't matter this round. He still whacks Gwen a good one!
As to the other question, I don't see why you could not intimidate someone in a grapple. You guys can even cast spells, make ranged/melee attacks against Nessian. You guys can even use Aid Another with Gwen's grapple check. Granted... she already has a +13 bonus to Maintain Grapple, so it's not necessarily required, but I won't turn down the help!
A grappled creature cannot use Stealth to hide from the creature grappling it, even if a special ability, such as hide in plain sight, would normally allow it to do so. If a grappled creature becomes invisible, through a spell or other ability, it gains a +2 circumstance bonus on its CMD to avoid being grappled, but receives no other benefit.
Casting Spells while Grappled/Grappling: The only spells which can be cast while grappling or pinned are those without somatic components and whose material components (if any) you have in hand. Even so, you must make a concentration check (DC 10 + the grappler's CMB + the level of the spell you're casting) or lose the spell.

I thought about helping you, but having a free guy behind you seemed more dangerous. You think it is the right call?
Hopefully Urbar can take them out. AND hopefully you can put the hurting on Nessian.

![]() |

Yes, I would much rather you guys take out orange bandit. Feel free to put the hurtin' on him. I can handle Nessian until we take out orange.
In fact, I plan on Pinning Nessian next round as long as Gwen is able to maintain the grapple.

It evens out: -2 to Gwen's AC for you being grappled as well (-4 Dex), and -2 to Nessian's attack roll.

That too!
Also, one of the issues with grappling is that most of the time.... enemies will just full attack until you can Pin them... As seen in the Gameplay thread lol... And Gwen is not exactly a hard target to hit with Grappled condition.

![]() |

Wow... I just reread my last Gameplay post. I promise I'm not an incompetent writer lol! That will teach me to always proofread my posts before hitting submit.

![]() |

I'm fluent in typo... I knew you were simply seducing Ery and Nessian at the same time. No worries.

![]() |

No we don't. We can read it ourselves and switch it off.

![]() |

There is a wall between me and Nessian unless I'm looking at the map wrong. So yes I hit the purple guard.
I considered trying to do non-lethal but this group did just kill a bunch of priests and try to slaughter the whole city. Considering her feelings about the methods they used (undead) she took out her rage on this poor guard.
