[PFS] DM Kludde's ongoing soul harvesting: recruitment for Low-Level PFS games (Inactive)

We will be playing 0-23: Tide of Morning. Check in to the thread here and we should be rolling as early as tomorrow. I was only planning on five but since Magabeus was cool enough to let others in front of him he gets a spot. Everyone else should get in the habit of checking in here as we try and pull from the list and there are sometimes open recruitment possibilities.

Edit: The main list has been updated and current players along with non responses have been removed.

Tieflings and Aasimars will no longer be PFS legal as of Aug 14. Any characters that have 1 xp by that time will be grandfathered. For more info see the Paizo blog

I'm going to start 2 Confirmation games with the aim of finishing by that time. Finishing a game in three weeks is _very_ tricky, but definitely doable if the players keep up a decent posting rate.

As ever, people high on the list have priority, but I want to start the games quickly. My advice is to play an aasimar or tiefling character, but anything goes.

Please only apply if you can post at least once, hopefully multiple times a day including weekends an shave the desire to push the game forward. I don't intend to rush the game or cut corners, but I do want to keep a very high pace. Please DO NOT apply if you intend to go on holiday during any of the next three weeks.

I only put my name back on your list a few days ago, as I didn't want to take up a spot when I didn't have a character free. But I'd very much like to jump on this opportunity if possible, I've been working on an aasimar build I'd like to get to play.

Just to summarise the upcoming changes to PFS taking effect Aug 14:

Aasimar and Tiefling PCs will no longer be PFS legal. Any Aasimar or Tiefling having 1 XP by Aug 13 (subtle wording in the blog post) will be 'grandfathered', meaning you can continue playing it. After Aug 14, you can no longer build a new PC that is Aasimar or Tiefling (the races are being replaced by Kitsune, Nagaji and Wayang)

So the idea is:
- Build a (new) Aasimar or Tiefling PC
- Run a game and get a chronicle before Aug 13
- You now have a PFS legal PC with 1 XP (that you can still retrain as per lvl 1 rules)

I'm fine with you playing any other race, I just want you to be aware of the background mechanics.

I made up my Assimar bard (sound striker) a while ago and have never got around to playing her in PFS. If you'll have me count me in!

This is new character for gossamar4 reporting for table 1

Have a little more EQ to purchase and have to add racial bonuses. But here is my (mostly done) character.

You can play with a level 2 character once but only once.

These games are being put together for players that want to have a tiefling and/or aasimar grandfathered in before they change the rules.

Azih: feel free to join with whatever character you like - though my personal recommendation is to build an aasimar or tiefling before the boat sails.

Does anyone have any good ideas for a tiefling or aasimar build? I've been looking at the synthesist summoner - that one has celestial wrath written all over it :)

Thought synthesist was out for PFS?

Are you allowed to use the various tiefling/aasimar subtypes? Ie. demon-spawn, angel-blooded? I wouldn't mind sneaking in a planetouched character before they go illegal, and I've never played the Confirmation.

Yep, the subtypes are allowed - not sure what the sources are, though (you can find that on the pfsrd20)

That's the sorcerer daemon bloodline that's not legal.
All the heritages are, including daemon.

It seems to be a common bit of confusion with Blood of Fiends due to Paizo's willingness to reuse names.

If you've joined a game (originating from this list), after being deleted can you add yourself back to the bottom of the list?

I ask, because that's what I did (a few days after being deleted), and someone deleted the entry. Adding again.

Only reason I can think of is you signed up before the first one was deleted and you were on the list twice.

New to the PbP scene, but would like to get some adventuring started. As I understand it, there is a sort of waiting list and by posting here I have joined it.

I am interested in the repeatable scenarios as I have played and GM'd a lot of PFS material for my region (Memphis, TN). I would be happy to provide more specific information if needed, but its lengthy.

I am sure I can post at least daily, but probably more. I have spent most of this week looking into the PbP scene trying to find a game.

Brother Bear is a Level 1 Brawler (0 xp) that I expect to add an archetype once they become available.

Also, just watch the recruitment list daily. This is not the only place that people are recruited. If you see someone looking for entries, apply! have a character ready ...

when you reply, reply using the character alias (you can add an alias for each character under "My Account." And be sure to have all your character info in the profile for that charter. You can look at most any poster on this board for a list of their aliases and the format the use for posting.

I have a firm grasp on the Paizo.com account system and message boards. I think this character's profile is ready to go. I will probably add more "Fluff", but the necessary stuff is in there.

I have been watching, but I also noticed that things seem to fill very fast. Seems to be the result of a Lodge that spans every other Lodge and then some (kind of like the ethereal plane).

As for format, I am sure I will easily grasp whatever etiquette is used.
