Yes, my bad. I'm working on something better: It's finally getting around to something (thanks to all the time on the plane). I've put up a demo for a waiting list registration/management platform here.

Some essential features are still missing (password retrieval, messaging).

Please note: this is not the DMK waiting list. I'm sticking with the spreadsheet for now. Once I have some confidence that the server thing is working correctly, I'll probably find some way to migrate.

Well, I was able to create an account. I don't see much functionality to the site beyond that just yet, though.

It looks fine, and the limited functionality works! I was not able to break it (yet)

I could change my status from active to inactive and back again. Something you might want to consider is an additional status (away?) that does not result in loosing your position. If I am not available for a game due to a holiday I would like to be able to keep my spot.

It works.
It would be nice, if I could put any description with my application, like "Witch1" or "Tier1-3" something. But, it's good start. Might be worth to github it? :)

DMK - I'm not sure if I managed to break it or not. I was able to register, and sign in and out. However, when I clicked on the "Remove me from list" or "Add me to list" button, it would change my status right above the button - but my name never appeared on the list at all.

Not at the moment, my low level is in Emerald Spire. I have another but a bit PBP swamped at this juncture.

Putting out a call for players looks pretty easy. What happens if Khelreddin, for example, tried to call someone I called?

One complaint - due to the way that the page loads, if I click the call button, then it resets everything, and I need to scroll back down to the list to select the next player. It's not that bad right now, but once there's a significant number of players, that's going to get annoying. Is it possible to replace that with check boxes? DMs could select the players they wish to call, and then submit that with a single button press.

Worked for me to enter and delete myself. I tried simple breaks and didn't break it.

@DM DoctorEvil: I greatly appreciate the offer, but I already have three characters in PFS play and would rather focus on advancing them at this time. It's too bad, one of them only has 1 XP, but that is 1 too many.

I will maintain my position in line for the next game.

@DM DoctorEvil I haven't put myself back on the list since running the pre-gencon confirmation with Kludde, but let me see if I can put something together for this. It looks like you currently have a druid, an inquisitor, and a slayer. I might go arcane.

I've updated the list and removed all player that are currently in a game with me - do feel free to add yourself back to the list once the game finishes.

DM DoctorEvil: once you start your game, could you also delete the row for the players that you selected?

I forgot to add myself back after Kyshkumen's Tide of Morning. At any rate, not to usurp anyone's spot, but DoctorEvil's gig sounds fun.

Filled my boat, I believe. I deleted the lines for the 6 victims...I mean lucky winners.

Kludde- just an FYI - I sent PM's and got no response from Mighty Beowulf, TheStrongAngel and Elektra Dawns. They may be dead links at this point, but I'll leave it to you to dump them if so. The others we at least kind enough to respond and decline politely.

Hey all, I'm absolutely new to PFS and this will by first attempt playing it in any capacity but I have previous experience in D&D 3.5 so a lot of this is familiar to me. I have plenty of RP experience in other games so I'm going to give this a try. I've already put my name in the soul tracker spreadsheet but it doesn't look like I'll be getting in any time soon so this is basically a FYI.

@Kael: you may want to go take a look at the Flaxseed Pathfinders Lodge forum post as well. There are a few GM's there that are frequently recruiting for PFS adventures.

Additionally, you may want to make a simple comment in the "gameplay" portions of the threads you want to watch so it will let you know, in your "my campaigns" tab, when a post is made.

Wanted to share two tricks that I've found for monitoring recruitment, this thread and Flaxseed as well as recruitment in general:

• Blogtrottr takes the RSS feeds from these threads and emails updates either daily or instantly.
  
• Subscribe to notification updates within the DM/GM Google Sheets. In the sheet -> Tools -> Notification Rules -> choose your frequency.

@Tarondor: go to blogtrottr.com, enter the URL for this campaign (http://paizo.com/campaigns/PFSDMKluddesOngoingSoulHarvestingRecruitmentFor LowLevelPFSGame), enter your email address, then select delivery frequency. It'll then ask you to choose from a number of optional feeds - you'll notice from the options provided that they're the "gameplay" and "discussion" threads from this campaign. Choose whichever you like. Once complete, Blogtrottr will email any updates to the thread you selected according to the frequency you indicated. You can do this multiple times to subscribe to the gameplay and discussion threads.

My comment about the DM/GM sheets should be apparent if you follow the link to the sign up sheet that DM Kludde provides at the top of this thread.

I've already created my character but I want to make sure I did it according to the conventions here. How are ability scores generated? Point based or by rolling?

To get the RSS feed URLs for a campaign, look in the upper right corner. You'll see a little button that looks like this. There is one for each thread of the campaign (Discussion, Recruitment, and Gameplay).

Point based. PFS goes off of the High Fantasy campaign type of 20 points if you are looking at the CRB. And if you have not done so yet, you can download the guide here.

Just to clarify, I only removed gossamar4 when he accepted into my game, not wanderer82.

Indeed, I did see that post and reply to the PM he sent me, but an hour after his 24 hours expired. I apologize that I was working an extended overnight and do not have outside internet access at work.
