As the battle ends, Arlena goes over to the remains of the tiefling's army, with a look of both sadness and fear on her face. She looks closely at the fallen, as if looking for something.
Arlena is checking to see if her sister might have been part of the battle.
Farasha relaxes after the battle, offering up a prayer to the gods of light for their victory before ensuring her quivers are restocked.
Well Irabeth, we may not be hurting those giving the orders, but we're removing those who could pose a threat to the innocent, and in doing so gaining experience and camaraderie. That in and of itself is worth much too.
Noting Arlena's seemingly desperate search of the battlefield, Farasha moves to join her
Are you well? Is there something that troubles you I can assist with?
Of Arlena's sister, there is no sign among the fallen. Very soon the task of the clean-up is finished. Irabeth decides that it is too late to move up the canyon and deeper into the Worldwound. So the camp is set for the night.

With a sad smile, Arlena turns to Farasha.
"Thank you, Farasha. I... I was just... Looking for... someone... But thankfully... It seems she was not here."
After a short pause, Arlena continues with a trembling voice:
"I... I have a twin sister... And she's the main reason I'm here with you. She... She left to join the demon's army... I came here hoping to turn her back from that path..."
"This is also why I pushed for mercy and a chance at redemption for the halfling woman... Even against your judgement... I... I need to believe we would do the same for my sister, and that she can be saved."
Arlena wipes some tears from her eyes, and then looks back at the cleric with a smile on her face and eyes full of gratitude.
"Sorry about just rambling on like that. And thank you, for listening and for all the support you've given me."
You should bask in some of the thanks you offer to me, you've never once given me pause to doubt your devotion to our cause
she listens attentively to the tiefling's description of her family history
That must have been difficult for you, family and loyalty are two concepts hard to hold close when they diverge so. I admire your devotion to mercy in the face of my judgement, but I am a mere mortal, my words are just thoughts given breath. If you believe your sister can be saved, then who am I to know better? Certainly I would like to think I would be of the same opinion if I were in your place
She offers a scrap of cloth from her satchel for Arlena to dry her eyes
I am glad you have not found her here among the fallen, her potential redemption lives on in your heart... and now mine too
she nods, and walks back to the main group with Arlena at her side.
OGGM: If Nurah didn't crack that first time with truth magic focused on her, perhaps we can continue the practice of asking her the same questions each night (with the associated magic in place), until she deigns to respond. It's Farasha's hope that Nurah realises her lot will not improve until she starts talking, at which point the party has a chance to determine what is truth and what is distraction!

Fabian says to Arlena, "It is commendable to hope for redemption. If we can redeem somebody, it only strengthens our cause. I hope you are prepared, however, if it's not possible to redeem here. Sometimes, alas, it is not psosible."
I agree with the plan of questioning Nurah again every night. Fabian will use Detect Thoughts (either with a 2nd level slot, or with a mythic point) to evesdrop on Nurah's thoughts during any interrogation.
Irra winces at Arlena's speech. In this wasteland, either she'll die or we'll all die. No happy stories...
She moves through the army, slapping backs and shaking hands and working to keep morale up. It's far too easy for a demon army to shatter an army's spirits.

I'm sitting waiting for the Sense Motive checks I asked for, only to see that my WHOLE POST on that isn't in here! Nurah is indeed a tough nut to crack. Roll Sense Motive for clues on what she is doing/thinking. Moving forward regardless.
Late that night it's a fitful sleep under the strange stars of the Worldwound. Irabeth has stated the practice of setting up camps walled with earthen berms and wooden stakes. A practical fortification in hostile territory. Your tent is the largest, twice as long as wide, centered in the camp. You all share the accommodation, men separated from the women by a canvas drop.
Farasha:
The sleep of the Dreamer is denied you this night, and you toss and turn, never fully awake, yet never asleep. Dark visions enter your mind, those of demons, and betrayal. Somewhere, in the dead of night, a soft voice whispers in your ear. "Hush, my love. Sleep tight, for I will watch over you." The voice is surreal in its beauty, but nearly impossible to resist. Yet something warns you...
Your eyes fly open, and you start to speak, but a soft finger covers your lips. "Shhhhhhh, now...its all a dream..." Warm, red eyes peer down at you as you lay...
Wait...red eyes??? Will save, please. Any bonus vs enchantment?
With sleep normally such a comfort, Farasha's unrestful slumber drives slivers of painful warning in to her mind as she regards those red eyes... Something inhuman!
Ok. Ready - after significant time - to go back at the PbP GM role. This is a recruitment thread for a WotR Mythic Campaign, GM'd by yours truly.
I am looking for a party of four players. I may accept five, but that's my limit. Here are the rules:
The Rules
Paizo only please, I have a large enough library as it is, so no 3rd party.
Paizo beta stuff is cool, but you play at your own risk, because changes will be enforced when it all goes official.
Level 1, 25 point buy. You can min/max it, but I don't recommend it.
Alignment must be non-evil. No arguments about Hellknights, please.
Core races are good, others must be approved by me.
Two traits, one must be from the WotR campiagn traits. You will appreciate it later.
Max hp at first level, honor system after that, more on that later.
Start with average gp
I'd like to avoid summoners for speed sake. Gunslingers are ok, but be aware of limitations on availability of ammo, equipment, etc. Let's discuss it first.
This is a roleplay-based campaign. I expect your best effort. To that end, provide a sample of your style - in character - when you submit.
Add a backstory, it can be simple, or not. Not everyone comes from a woe-is-me background.
Post your expected role in the party. I am running this on the table for my group right now, and I will tell you that balance is key.
Spelling and grammar are as important as a good character. Take the time to make it look good.
That should be good for now. There are some conventions that will be used, and you should be aware of them. I will control Perception and Initiative rolls for speed sake. All other die rolls will be posted by you, using the die-roller on this site. The honor system is at work here folks. Trust me, its far more entertaining letting the chips fall where they may. we will use spoilers for posting actions and rolls when you post before your turn. This will become obvious as we start.
All selections are final by me. If you post here, you are agreeing to several things: You accept my decisions like a good sport. You can post at least 1/day. You want to have fun and are not totally hung up on a power game.
Interesting... Its rare to see someone pop back after a few year hiatus.
I'm interested in the game, obviously. Can you explain more about what you mean when you say we will use spoilers for posting actions? Will the entire post be in spoilers? Just any dice rolling? I find too many spoilers ruin a game, and when 98% of the time the PC involved regurgitate what was in the spoiler in their next post, have taken to just leaving everything out in the open, similar to how I would do it at a table.
As far as PC, I may try my hand at an arcane class. I play a number of divinely bent classes, and while this AP SCREAMS for a holy warrior, I think it would be fun for someone else to take up that mantle.
Submitting an Aasimar Inquisitor of Iomedae. The backstory needs to be semi modified, as it was originally for a Paladin, but the meat of it is the same.
Also, if Aasimar is not allowed, that is totally acceptable and I will be a Human instead, absolutely not essential to the character. I just love the race for a celestial warrior.

The best way I could explain to you is to encourage you read through my first attempt at a campaign. I posted a link to it in the Discussion tab. It evolved as we played, but the main purpose was so that players would state actions without knowledge of another player's success or failure. It worked really well, once they got the hang of it, as you will see when you read it. Let me know if you need any further info.

Aasimar is fine. Half of my tabletop group have aasimars.
Im certainly willing to try this "spoilers" approach, but just wanna say, having party act as a whole on a single initiative count, and then have people go in whatever order they post, works well most of the time.
Just putting it out there.
As for character, is your reluctance for Summoner purely based on another "character" on the board? I have this idea for a rather dense summoner who fights in melee with high Str and modest charisma, with the eidolon being small and doing Aid Another actions to help his melee attacks. It would then take the Bodyguard line of feats as well...basically it would be a sidekick mostly, and cover some skills for its dumb master.
I dont think that would be much more difficult than a Druid and his companion.

Well, give it a read...and as a note, the system we evolved to came in around page 3. I am certainly not opposed to trying something new depending on what the final group prefers.

Mostly the extra character on the board. Your idea could work, submit it and let's have a look.
Hmmm...
I'm interested. I really am. Howevvvver, what are the WotR campaign traits? I have never played it before, and thus do not have the books needed.
Also, are tieflings allowed? I really want this one tiefling I built in a campaign, and he'd make an amazing addition. I pretty much got all the bestial tiefling traits, though. Are you okay with that? (Ya know, fiendish sprinter, maw, vestigial wings, prehensile tail, scaled skin.)

Check the players guide, free PDF from paizo.

This will be very difficult from an RP standpoint. While tieflings are not uncommon, being that obviously "unnatural" could be difficult. Check the player's guide and see if you still feel that way.

Speaking of difficult and unnatural, would you allow a pseudodragon? I've played them very breifly, but love the little drakes to death.

You find the elf sitting in the furthest corner of the room, flinching and hissing each time the door opens and the fading daylight splashes across his face. Perched in the rafters above him is a massive old owl, red eyes half-lidded.
"Oh, it's you," the elf sneers. "Kept me waiting long enough, didn't you?" Without another word, the elf snatches up his heartwood bow from the table and stalks, angrily, toward the exit. The owl spreads its wings and lazily glides after him.
He stands at the door, pulling up his hood over his eyes. "By my ancestors, it's bright out here," he mutters, before turning back to face you. "Coming? We aren't growing any younger..."
I would need a bit of time to read over the WoTR player's guide and put together a character sheet, but I have the basic idea worked out. The character is an Elven Ranger using the Falconer archetype--although instead of a falcon he's bonded with an owl. The two of them have been together for years and years, and the ranger has adopted the owl's habits and lifestyle. As a result, the elf has developed something like bipolar disorder: grumpy and irritable during the day, but cool and efficient during the night hours.
If this concept seems interesting to you, I'll put together a full character. Thank you for your consideration!
Submitting Grayson Ozolins, aasimar vanilla cleric of Jaidz, the Empyreal Lord of cowards. Grayson will be built around the channel force line of aasimar racial feats, doing a lot of support, healing, buffing, and eventually battlefield control by moving undead and evil outsiders around the battlefield at will. He will stay cleric, though he may switch into holy vindicator along the way.
He is currently built for a 20 point buy, but easily upgraded to 25, and he has three traits with a very appropriate drawback, if that's allowed.
As their cart topped the last rise, Grayson finally sees Kenebras laid before him--nothing too grand, certainly nothing like the splendor of the southern cities his master told him of, but still the largest group of buildings and people he had ever seen. He watches as a dark-skinned woman rides by slowly on a horse, certainly no native to Mendev. From how far must she have come?
Passing through a gate and into a small market square, the farmer stops his cart and Grayson climbs down. Once again, he tries to offer the man a few coins for his trouble, and once again the farmer waves him off. "Without your healing touch, my son's arm would still be infected, and our crop would never get harvested. You saved me a fortune, least I can do is drop you off here. May the gods, your god be with you, friend Grayson...I'm sure you will find your courage." Embarrassed and unsure about the last part, the farmer tipped his hat and drove off. Grayson opened his mouth to remind the fellow yet again that not all clerics of Jaidz were automatically cowards, but he didn't have the heart, especially since he knew that, in his case, it was true.
I will say I'm not a fan of roleplaying in a recruit thread. I've got a few reasons. One of them being I get stuck with a pc I can't delete if I so choose. If you check his backstory, there is an event that helped shape him.
I do have several other pc's that do have a posting history that can be perused.
But if that doesn't cover it, then I will respectfully withdraw.

I don't really care where it's posted, as long as I can find it and read it. That said, I read Morgrym.
And there we go! Seren here is all up to date! Oh, and my expected role is Hierophant, by the way.
----------
As the day slowly begins to bustle, Seren begins to move about the city in her typical circuitous route. Though definitely a military city, she loved Kenabres, always with thoughts of seeking permission to build a park somewhere with a quaint little shrine to Desna there for her to tend.
Her hand lowers to her waist, touching the starknife there before rising to her neck where her holy symbol is. She'd had an odd dream that night. Desna, as a butterfly, flittering over a beautiful forest before arrows of pure darkness took her down. And as she lay there, broken on the ground, the darkness had begun to move in towards her. But then a light had shone from behind a tree, and that's when the dream had ended. So odd... she thinks to herself. Now that I think of it, I've been having more and more dreams of her recently. What could they mean...
She shrugs, smiling as she raises her face towards the sky, breathing in the air deeply. And that invigorates her, her lithe feet beginning to twirl as she literally begins to dance through the growing crowd, getting stares, catcalls, and the odd glare as she begins to hum to herself.
I present Lars von Maur, Paladin of Sarenrae. He's built for big damage and can be an effective party face. Pretty sure he will be a Marshal or Champion. http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=863971 I’m not willing to make an alias yet in case I’m not picked but here’s my sample.
Lars arrived in the temple of Sarenrae in Kenebras after a long day of drilling with his greatsword. Tired, sore, and still a bit elated from the endorphins, he found an empty pew and sat down. He entwined his fingers and began to pray.
”Everlight, Dawnflower, as the light of the sun begins to wane, I give thanks for lending me your patience today. There were a few times during today’s training when I was stuck that my anger flared up and I was tempted to strike with enough force to kill my partner. I then remembered your teachings and the training the clergy gave me to help control my temper. While my anger is partially a result of the taint my family has developed from generations of fighting the fiends, you give me the wisdom to realize that I have the strength to control myself. May I spread your holy word of redemption and patience to those that are willing to learn, and justice to those that wish the innocent harm. Praise be upon you.”
After a moment, Lars stood up and bowed towards the symbol of Sarenrae in the front of the temple. He walked towards the exit, deposited a few gold coins in the collection box by the doors, and strode out framed in the light of the setting sun.
I'd like to play Wrath, and will be submitting Valtoris, a rather arrogant LG transmuter in another game...and here, if you don't mind. Are drawbacks ok? They add to the RP for me...his is Pride.
Yay! I've been dying to play in a Wrath game. Submitting Samantha Jalhyn, urban ranger and hater of evil outsiders. Will post her backstory after classes and will make an alias if accepted. Thanks!

I read over much of the RotRL thread, and while I can't say I'm a huge fan of spoilering all the dice rolls, it does make the story flow a bit better from a reading stand point. If I get chosen, it may take some getting used to, but I think I can make it work :D
That said, I'm currently working on a Halfling Seeker Sorcerer to fill both the arcane roll, and add in some rogueish bits in case one doesn't get picked (since none seem to have been put forth yet) I'll have crunch/fluff up tonight/tomorrow.
A bit about me: I’ve been playing games of this type for about 20 years, and have been playing on the Paizo site for about 10 months. In that time I’ve nearly reached 5000 posts, so that should tell you the kind of activity I have. I’ll admit I don’t write a book for every post, sometimes simple posts are what’s needed, but I never write a “Bob swings his sword” type of post.
Azim was born in Katheer the capital of Qadira. A simple barmaid his mother. She was taken one night by a trade prince. Not having money enough for herself she took the baby to the temple of Sarenrae. The monks and priest found the child in the morning and took him in.
Azim grew and studied at the temple. He became good friends with a young girl there. Her name was Hana. She had hair orange as the sun. Her eyes green but seem to almost flicker as a flame would. The two grew close and even trained together as battle dancers. Azim didn't have the grace that Hana did, but was able to come into his own at the art.
Hana was a couple years ahead of Azim, and finished her training. The two didn't say goodbye. They simply told each other until we are together again. Hana was going to the worldwound as many from the temple have. Azim would follow and they would bring the fight to hell together.
Azim was very devout in his worship. Not long after Hana had left he started receiving visions. He knew these images to be Sarenra herself. She blessed him and told him he was destin to take up her mantle not only as a battle dancer, but also as a a paladin in her name. He would do this once joining the fight at the worldwound. As his training grew to and end he was strong both in faith and body. He was now ready to not only find Hana, but to accept his destiny.
Azim now finds himself in the city of Kenabres. He has been searching and asking for Hana for only a day. He has been to the local temple and learned Hana has not been seen for days now. He hold her spirit in his heart and has yet to think the worst. He has read the texts of Yaniel and knows his enemy. He now makes preparations to search for Hana more.
Azim got in a different Wrath game but it died. I will be taking 4 levels of paladin oath of vengence with him as he finds out his friend/maybe more Hana has died. I tood the touched by divinity trait to reflect the worship and devotion to Sarenrae and the healing side as it grants CLW once a day. The other GM was ok with not sticking to the mythic path of the traits, if you were planing on doing that I would need to select a different trait. Mythinc selection will be probably Champion dual path with Archmage. Azim will be a skill monkey with 8 per level as a bard and getting versitle performance. He will also be a front line and damage guy with the paladin levels and Champion mythic path. I don't like super focusing roles most of the time, but I don't dabbling in things just to have a role at it either. I try to build characters that can go it alone if they must. Thanks for the consideration.
Kneeling next to his old "father" the dark skinned man´s eyes were getting full of tears. Holding the old humans hand he knew he had to admit that the old man had only a few breaths left. It was time to say good-bye and ask for his blessings."Father.Loving, almost clouded eyes gazed over his black skinned and horned faceI would ask for your permission to travel to Mendev and fight in the crusade!" An old, brittle voice answered:"Many will distrust you. Some hate you!"Bollwerk answered:"Then I will teach them to trust me. It is time. I have to go to the worst place imaginable and prove my soul. I know I will have to face many challenges. But my faith is strong and our lady will never leave me. I just wish I could make you proud. With a hint of sadness, but full of pride the old voice answered:"My little boy, I was always proud of you! I will gladly give you my blessing. Know this my son. There is no father more proud and although my wive and I found you in this horrible place, your soul is pure. I want you to stand tall and wear your true name proud! Titian Hann, son of Leom Hann. Sword of Iomedea! In the cabinet is a letter of introduction. Present it and they will accept you. Go now my son and let me sleep."
Role:
Melee fighter, Defender, Diplomat. Not a mindless I am a Paladin I will call all evil!
Example of play:
Combat:
This has to end now
Holding his shield high Bollwerk took one, two slashes from the wicked claws and counterattacked. His sword swung in a downward cut, biting deep into the leathery hide.
Social:
The voice comming from the cloak was strong as it accused the kneeling man."We found the evidence. You left your post. Accept your guilt and ask for a just verdict and Iomedea will provide. Continue to lie and I will be less merciful!"
I'd like to play Wrath, and will be submitting Valtoris, a rather arrogant LG transmuter in another game...and here, if you don't mind. Are drawbacks ok? They add to the RP for me...his is Pride.
I am avoiding drawbacks as a way to gain another trait. I'm all for them as RP devices. That said, I will allow them.
You may take a drawback per Ultimate Campaign, with the addition of the third Trait. This is NOT mandatory. BE FOREWARNED: if you take it, you had best role-play it. Karma will bite you.
what would the ramifications be? I don't mind switching at all if its a problem.
Sorry missed you wanted a sample. This was Azim entering the city.
Spoiler:
Such a land the north is. I hope Hana got to take in the beauty of this place. She must have seen much evil in her time here. I pray to Saranrae for your safety my friend.
Kenabras, finally I am here Azim thought to him. Strange I didn’t expect a line. Wonder what’s going on.
You sir. Greetings I am Abdul Azim Usama Samad. You may call me Axim. Why are all the people heading into the city? Was there a demon attack?
Well hello young man that is quite a mouthful of a name you got there. Friends call me Jeb. I am here for the festival. It is Armasse.
A festival, I see, thank you Jeb. Peace be with you my friend.
Azim was staring into the city as he reached the gates. Hoping he may see Hana.
Why you hear?
Wait? What? Oh forgive me sir. I am Abdul-Azim Usama Samad. Please call me Azim. I am hear looking for a friend and to bolster the temple of Sarenrae with another ready to give his life to save the people of Golarian.
Ok buddy you do you. Looks like another zealot. Move along
Zealot, I’m not a zealot. Oh well, first things first. Need to find the temple to secure lodging and hopefully find out where Hana may be. Guess its time to explore the city a bit an meet the locals. Strange a festival here. Wouldn’t think there is much to celebrate with demons at the gate, But it is the simple things that sometimes keep us sane in the face of such horrors. I shall enjoy myself.
Azim continues throughout the city meeting its people and learning his way around.
Out of curiosity, are you open to the new Spellscar Drifter archetype (Cavalier archtype that adds gunslinging) from Inner Sea Combat? I've never been interested in a Cavalier or a Gunslinger, but putting them together looks awesome.
If not, I'd probably go with a Cleric or Inquisitor (or maybe even Paladin) or Arqueros.
I'll submit a ranger later, but first, let's answer this question
I roleplay every character a little differently
This is a roleplay-based campaign. I expect your best effort. To that end, provide a sample of your style - in character - when you submit.
1. He is a ranger, with the archery path.
2. He will be unlikely to use magic. Using a skimerish archetype. If he does decide to use magic, he will probably multi-class as a magus for magic missile and a few other good ranged spells. Though he probably won't need to.
3. He will have a few kinds of arrows, the right ones for the right situation. Most likely common and lodestone arrows.
4. He will be somewhat of a skills monkey. Ranger with 20 int, human and instead of a bonus feat, taking the focused studies alt racial trait.
5. He is prepared for almost anything, including having to run if necessary.
6. He is not as good in melee with ranged, but will carry a greatsword in case something tries to get to close to him.
7. He tries to defeat his enemies with tactics rather than with pure force or luck. If he knows the enemy is slow, stand back, run to out of reach of enemy and then shoot. If the enemy is clumped together use attacks that have a 15-foot cone, or put someone up front who does. Use knowledge checks to find out the enemies weaknesses and resistances.
8. He is not a jack-of-all trades, what he can do he can do well, what he can't do, he can't do well or in some cases, not at all. He gets 11 skill ranks per level. 6 ranger, 4 int, 1 human and maybe 1 if I decide to put it into favored class bonus. You can expect 11 to 15 skills having a lot of ranks into them, some will have a 1 for 1 deal, others will have 3/4 of a deal. Jack-of-all trades being a no not only applies to skills but feats and other things as well.
9. He is not a rogue, but he is sneaky and stealthy like a rogue. He is primarily a ranger and secondarily a rogue, though he isn't going to multiclass into one, he is just sneaky like one, he might carry some daggers or other silent weapons that can be hidden. He is trying to avoid an up close and personal fight, so ranged and stealth will be his means of taking out the enemy.
10. He rarely takes the front lines in combat, but has that greatsword in case an enemy thinks it is a good idea to get within melee of the ranger.
11. He is skilled, but not taking charge. He has ideas and will throw them out there, but if others have ideas he will accept them. He may take charge every once in a while, but isn't going to force his leadership on others. He has a battle plan, either they accept his plan or reject it. He will make plans often, inside and outside battle but will let others choose if they follow it or not.
12. He probably won't wear anything heavier than light armor, and if it is medium armor it is likely mithril to treat is as light armor, doing so affects his stealth ability and others things he wants to do, such as climb and whatnot. He is rarely in the front lines, why does he need anything heavier than light armor?
13. He does what he believes is the right thing to do.

Background:
Addaon Alaw pronounced (ah THA on) ( AH low) doesn't remember his parents the vanished into the Worldwound weeks after he was born. The only parent Addaon has ever know is Elthas an elven Magus and Riftwarden. Elthas was a close friend and the commanding officer of Addaon's parents. It was his orders that sent Addaon's parents into the Worldwound. The loss of Addaon's parents was a serious blow to Elthas. Taking Addaon in and raising him as his own son has helped ease the guilt he feels over Addaon's parents deaths.
Addaon grew up hearing stories of his parents bravery and heroism. Elthas kept nothing from his young ward, so Addaon knows about Elthas part in his parents deaths. He has forgiven Elthas even if the Elf Magus hasn't yet forgiven himself.
Elthas to be an apt pupil in both the arcane arts and martial discipline. He taught Addaon to use the Elven curve blade his own favored weapon. When Addaon was still young Elthas took leave from the Riftwardens and took Addaon on a journey. The journey lasted years. It took them Mendev to Absalom far to the south, to Magnimar on the western edge of Avistan and up through the lands of the Linnorm Kings over the crown of the world to the Tengu nation of Kwanlai to study the sword with the Tengu sword-masters.
Addaon and Elthas have just returned to Kenabres where Elthas will resume his duties as a Riftwarden. Addaon has not decided what he will do but Elthas has made it clear that becoming a Riftwarden himself is always an option for Addaon.

Here it is. Elthas said as they climbed that last of the stone steps and stopped in front of the great doors. the Librarium of the Broken Black Wing. The elf turned to the young human at his side. Are you sure you don't want to come inside and talk to Beltran? He could tell you more about your parents, and I am sure he would be glad to have you as a Riftwarden.
Addaon shook his head No. Thank you Elthas you have taught me and watched over me all my life and I am grateful, He clasped his friend and mentors hand warmly. but I feel like I need to make my own way for awhile.
The elf nods and pulls the young man into a hug. I understand. I am sorry I have held you by my side for so long. It is hard to remembers sometimes that you are not one of my people. You would be just a child among my people but here among yours you are a grown man. Your parents would be proud of the man you have become Abbaon Alaw. Don't ever doubt that.
Abbaon returns the embrace of the elf that was the only family he had ever know. He lets go and steps back giving Elthas a warm smile. You had best go. Beltran Ravenken is waiting
Elthas nods again and enters the Librarium leaving the his human "son" alone on the steps.
Be well father. Abbaon thinks as he watches the elf go. When the great doors close behind the elven magus the young man turns and looks around the small square in front of the Librarium. He grips the hilt of the long elven scimitar hanging at his side. [i]Well what do I do with myself now? The guard at the gate said it was a festival day today. Since I have nothing better to do I might as well got to the festival. [/b] A decision made the young man picks up the pack resting at his feet and walks down the steps and heads into the center of the Kenabres where the guard said the festival was being held.
33, you can take Kensai as an archetype, and even though you would have a bit lower AC, you would get Exotic Weapon Proficiency and Weapon Focus for free, as well as getting 2 more feats to spend on toughness and a skill focus for one of your knowledge skills.
Suppose I should've said this at the beginning, but I will keep recruitment open until Monday, 4/21, 5 EST. At that time I will formulate the group. The final 4 or 5 will come out Monday night.
For in character example, it works better when I have interaction. I'll pretend like I was adventuring with adventure33 and use his sample spoiler, responding to him to give you a better look. Then I will respond to ashes sample spoiler. then

Midas walked with Elthas to the top of the steps. Midas opens the door and examines the room for secrets. perception:5 + 1d20 ⇒ 5 + (3) = 8 Yeah, you should come along Addaon. Midas says this with encouragement. After seeing that Addaon reject, Midas says Understood.
Midas is impressed. Wow, that elf just gave my race a compliment, I don't see that a lot from elves. After Elthas makes his statement, Midas says with a positive attitude. We wish you well.
Midas then looks out the window for a good view then goes to the festival. Hey, don't go without me. Midas says as Elthas is already heading down the steps without him.

Pray to who, I don't know that god Midas does not want to interrupt.
As the man asks his question, Midas responds. The name's Midas and I too am here for the festival.
As Midas reaches the gates with Azam he is wowed by what is going on. He takes a minute or two to see what is important and interesting in the festival and to observe what is going on. He might even be walking slowly as he is doing this. taking 20 on perceptionperception:20 + 5 = 25
As Midas hears the comments he thinks to himself Is Azim really a zealot, is he hiding something. Maybe not
Midas is probably a bit behind at this point, so he runs to catch up to Azim.

If the enemy is lying or if he tries something later...Midas will take his greatsword cut out the heart of a dead enemy, rip out the heart and force the living enemy to drink the blood dripping from the heart when he is caught again. You sir are going to prison for a long time, and if try anything again, I will force you to more drink blood. I do what I believe is right and if that is what it takes to stop you, I will do it, I don't want to have to kill you if I can avoid it.
I was using your name to show what would happen if I was adventuring with you, so I interacted in your scenario as well as with a few other senarios, since I can't invent one of my own. I'm playing not dming, so I took how my character would react with scenarios already created by others.
