Traits
Touched by Divinity - As long as you can remember, you’ve had an unexplainable interest in one deity in particular. One of your parents may have been a priest of this deity, or you may have been an orphan raised by the church, but these alone cannot explain your deep connection to the faith. You’ve always felt calm and at ease in places holy to the deity, and often have dreams about the god or goddess visiting you—most often in the form of a sacred animal or creature. Your faith is strong, even if you don’t happen to be a divine spellcaster—if you are a divine spellcaster, you should be a worshiper of this deity. You begin play with a silver holy symbol of your chosen deity for free. In addition, choose one domain associated with your chosen deity. You gain the use of that domain’s 1st-level domain spell as a spell-like ability usable once per day (CL equals your character level). Associated Mythic Path: Hierophant. Multiple Characters: If other characters choose this trait, you should all work together to decide what deity you’re associated with—it should be the same deity shared by all of you. You might even share the same dreams.
Blessed Touch - You may have been raised in a devout family, studied the divine in a formal church environment, or even learned how to combine traditional healing techniques with those of divine casters. In so doing, you have focused yourself into being the perfect vessel for your deity. Divine power flows through you like a mountain stream, making your healing touch more potent than that of others. You heal 1 additional point of damage when using lay on hands, channeling energy, or casting a cure spell.
Child of the Crusades - Your parents stood strong against the demons of the Worldwound, facing down the worst of this world and the Great Beyond. You have inherited their indomitable spirit, and you gain a +2 trait bonus on all saves against fear.
Drawback
Naive - Your perception that everyone is innately good does not bode well in the heat of battle, when less scrupulous foes might take advantage of your misguided optimism. You take a –2 penalty to AC against attacks with improvised weapons and a –2 penalty to CMD against dirty trick combat maneuvers (see the Pathfinder RPG Advanced Player’s Guide).

Background
--------------------
Born in Egede on Desnus 22, 4691, Seren's father was the only parent she knew. A devout follower of Desna, he tended the sick with both spell and story. She grew up hearing the tales of Desna, her travels, loves and other interests, and even had dreams of her (well, Seren still has dreams of her, though the form she often takes is that of a beautiful butterfly). She proved popular among the men of Egede, and several men (and one woman) have requested her hand.
But Seren is a devoted woman, who has seen much pain and suffering thanks to the Worldwound. Inducted into the church by her father (not so much inducted as simply given her vestments and holy symbol by him) just a scant year ago, she has travelled to Kenabres to both spread the faith, and help in defense of not only Mendev but all of Golarion.
Her high ambition is to one day help seal the Worldwound, making the former lands of Sarkoris safe for travel one day. Safe enough for her to walk from Nerosyan in the south to the Realm of the Mammoth Lords in the East, or even to Ustalav, her father's homeland.
--------------------
Appearance and Personality
--------------------
Standing 5'2" and around 120 pounds, Seren is a thin and short sight of beauty with her gentle curves, light brown skin and raven-black hair. Even when dressed up in armor and vestment, Starknife in hand, she moves with a speed and grace few can match.
She is a genial sort, always trying to find the good in a situation or a person. She's seen many of the crusaders begin down the paths of the Low Templar, and though she can rationalize why they do, she tries to hold herself above such things, her faith in Desna driving her ever onward.
She also has a tendency to twirl and dance lightly when others would stand still. Though not very good at it, her lighthearted attitude tends to make up for it.
