How do you feel about Unchained classes?

Azim

I can level Azim. Mythic is easy the wardstone exploded and the energy passed through each of the players. It also spread through the whole city as the cries of demons could be heard as it killed all of them making the city safe. No reason some of this energy couldn't of found it's way into Azim helping the resistance and being one of the guys out being a decoy while the part sacked the fortress. Let me know.

As a player I post 10 or more times a day in all my games and I have a game that is over 3 years active with the others over one and two years.

Rogue.

I'm ok with that.

Would a Life Oracle/Sacred Shield Paladin qualify as support for the groups needs?

Name: Sergeant-Major Irra 'Captongue' Sarusek
Race: Female Gnome
Alignment: NG
Class: Bard (Sound Striker)
Path: Dual Path Marshal/Archmage
Role: Support/Secondary Arcane Casting
Backstory: Her parents freed slaves resettled in Andoran, Irra set herself upon the task of joining the Andoran military and repaying her family's debt. Initially planning to disdain her peaceful gnomish family's ways, she eventually found that reconciling them with the needs of her comrades and the battlefield lead to remarkable success, sending her up the ranks. Eventually she volunteered to join a ceremonial detachment sent to the Worldwound to demonstrate her country's resolve in defeating the foul demons. Eventually her unit was recalled, but she and a number of others chose to stay and fight. After years of battle, she is the last surviving member of her unit.
Personality: Taciturn, loyal, sentimental when unguarded, pessimistic so as not to mislead her men.
Mythic Source: (if Ashe's reason is valid/transferable) Irra was recovering in a small Church of Iomedae's ad-hoc recovery room when the Wardstone exploded. She ran to the door and ordered it cleared, throwing herself in front of a cleric as the wardstone energy wave hit; when she awoke, she found herself with new powers.
Sample: Red hair obscured by dust and a weathered Andoran tricorne, the gnome sprints for the wall behind which the archers hid. "The hell are you doing, soldiers? Up! We've a day to win! Or will your mothers see you return to your cots in shame?" Taking a breath, she starts deep pounding beat from the back of her throat as she orders the archers into line. one-two-three one-two-three "Up- stand behind what I'll summon. Aim at direction; don't worry about eyes or legs, just hit the damn thing." one-two-three one-two-three Waving a hand, she summons up an illusion of an immense air elemental, its menacing form obscured by whirling clouds and winds. Between her archers and her illusion, she marches around the wall and forwards. Start Inspire Courage, cast Minor Image

Do you want a full sheet before acceptance?

They can answer that.

Irra: Don't need a full sheet, no.

Hello Tharasiph, as we do have already a Paladin and a cleric I have the feeling a loladin is not exactly what I think we seek.

A supporter is more the alchemist, investigator, bard route or arcane artillery. That are just my feelings, btw.

Silver Crusade

Your Paladin seems to be a man of action mine is to be a tank.. take hits and prevent damage to the other players.

He's nothing special on the healing front, but any allies in 10ft take half damage against a single enemy nasty and/or get a +6 to their AC.

Other than that I got nothing, I don't do Bard or Investigator and I have a blaster in another game.

I would agree with this. I'm the party wizard, but as an abjurer, I'm not the most artillery of arcane casters. That doesn't mean I don't have lightning bolts up my sleeves, and I also am taking tiers in Archmage.

What would be best would be a skill monkey sort of person, in terms of mechanics. Most important, though, is somebody who will play well with the GM and the rest of the group.

GM, do you have the campaign traits still associated with their mythic paths or are you alright with someone selecting a mythic path different from the one attached to the campaign trait?

Also, are you going with standard WBL for a level 6 character?

I'm working on a character who'd fill the role of a bard, primarily buffing the party and making everyone near him better at anything they do.

I submit Hallen. I know she is not a skill monkey. I couldn't think of a character concept I liked. She is also not core race, but the rest should be ok.

Thinking to myself. That one could be related to Hero Son. Short like Rakau bare hairy feet, but looks female and doesn't have Great Turtle shell armor. Maybe she daughter of Hero Son. Maybe she will lead me to him. Stealthily following her through the crowd. Moving from cover to cover. So few if any see me. I follow her into a large building. Upon seeing the paintings, of the Great struggle and of the Hero Son, on the walls. I forget to remain hidden. Going from one painting to the next. Till I find one, of the appropriate time for my peoples part. I bow my head in reverence. I leave a Hungry Mouth tooth and two arrows( one whistling one barbed) on the floor beneath it.

A gentle cough reminds me I am not alone. I jump and nervously look around for a place to hide or climb.
May I help you? The pinkskin behind the the block of wood asks.

I here to help the Hero Son. I point at a painting of Dresmond. To fight the Hungry Mouths. I move my hand to point at another painting of Dresmond fighting Sahaugin.

She opens her mouth showing her teeth and making an odd noise. Thinking to myself. Threat display? She seeks to test my resolve. I respond by puffing up and bobbing my head in my own threat display.
something similar to this. https://youtu.be/GENw8j6QHtM

This only causes her to make the sound even louder opening her mouth all the way. She points to a door way. Saying between bouts of the noise. Wait (laugh)in there (laugh) with the rest. (more laughter)

Having passed the first test. I proceed into the other room. Seeing several chairs and a table and two other people in the room. I do a quick Threat display. To show my strength. Then take aspot near the fire place incase I need to exit fast.

Matatoa lowers his crest at ssraaz's display. Clearly he is the stronger. He seems stunned by Ssraaz's words.

A tribe of them? Not the son of Father Wind and Mother Water? That cannot be true! The spirits would not lie. This must be some kind of test. I will hold my tongue and watch. I cannot tell Ssraaz about my tribe. What can I tell him to hide them?

As Matatoa sit silently thinking the Mayor enters.

Good a distraction. Hopefully he will forget about my tribe.

He listens intently to the Mayors words. When he is done speaking.

Matatoa will fight for the Hero Son's hatchling. We will make Sieben Inseln safe again!

Since I am considering submitting a character may I ask what kind of skills you are looking for in a skill monkey? As far as I can tell, you have Disable Device pretty much covered, so maybe a rogue-type is not necessarily... well... necessary. :-P

I am currently thinking one of the Occult classes if they are allowed, specifically a Void Kineticist (preferably) or an Occultist (maybe, seems a bit complicated so some reading on it would be required).

Other than those, there is the Slayer (though, as I said, you already have Disable Device covered, and you already have enough melee types) and the Investigator (not sure about this one, but will check the class out a bit more if needed).

I think I've got my submission, Raphaniel Cain, in a good spot mechanically. He was admittedly a bit complicated, but I'm really happy with the outcome and I also think he'd fit in well with the group judging by what I've read in the gameplay thread.

Sample Combat Post:

Raphaniel ducked under the lumbering demon's blow, intercepting and redirecting its claw with a deft strike and overextending his foe. He leaned around the demon's trunk then, and with a wink to Bollwerk, tapped the pitspawn's ribs almost playfully. "See if you can't tag this beast here, Boll!" He chuckled lightly then, a fierce light in his eyes as he watch his friend step in to bring Radiance to bear.

Standard: Aid another (+2 to Boll's next attack)
Swift: spend 1 mythic power to activate decisive strike! Boll makes one attack on my turn, it bypasses all DR, and gets a +3 to hit from my tier.
With flank, inspire courage, aid, and decisive strike, Boll gets a net +9 to hit and +2 damage! Get 'im, buddy!

Silver Crusade

Would you consider allowing a redeemed goblin cleric of Sarenrae? He uses Dawnflower Dervish to be a solid dex based melee fighter, and has the ability to do some damage with fire spells as domain spells. His goal in life is to learn to be good. NG alignment. His trip to mythic makes sense, because perhaps Sarenrae as the goddess of redemption is very pleased with his progress.

If the character concept looks possible/allowed, I will write up the details.

I would like to know if the following character would fit in with your group

Aasimar Scion of Humanity Orphan raised in a temple of Iomadae. Very devout but despite his desires to enter the Iomadaen Clergy, his talents and abilities are Arcane instead of Divine.

Wizard Admixture 1: gains Versatile Evocation to change energy types with his blasts

Sorcerer Sage/False Priest 4: Sage=Int Based Sorcerer, False Priest=his whole life he has been surrounded by Clerical Magic and he has found ways to incorporate Divine into his Arcane casting

Evangelist 1 PRC ISG This prestige class illustrates his devotion to Iomadae while progressing his casting

This Sorcerer will be arcane artillery (Fireballs with different energy types via Versatile Evocation) at higher levels Dazing Fireballs

AND will provide backup Divine Casting through the following abilities from his Go to False Priest Sorcerer archetype..

False Priest abilities:

Lay Healer (Su)

At 3rd level, the false priest adds aid to his list of spells known as a 2nd-level spell. At 5th level, he adds remove disease to his list of spells known as a 3rd-level spell.

This ability replaces the bloodline spells gained at 3rd level and 5th level respectively.

False Channel (Su)

At 9th level, the false priest can use his own magic to power spell completion and spell trigger items that use divine spells. He expends a sorcerer spell slot that is at least 1 level higher than the level of the spell he’s trying to activate, then makes a Use Magic Device check. If he succeeds, the item’s spell occurs and the item or charge is not expended. If he fails, nothing happens. Whether he succeeds or fail, his spell slot is expended.
This ability replaces the bloodline power gained at 9th level.

I think he will play very nicely with the Cleric and the Abjurer particularly once he gets the 9th lvl False Priest ability :cleric spells on scrolls can be cast by using spell slot instead of expending scroll. Lots of Versatility to back up the cleric if needed.

It has been mentioned the desire for a skill monkey but it looks like Kazul has DD pretty well handled. Are there any particular skills the group is looking for? As an Int based Sorcerer he will have quite a few skill points.

Silver Crusade

man I keep seeing this thread and so much want to apply, as I have been after a Wrath of Righteous game for so friggin long.

but what I want to submit does not fill in what you are looking for.

unless you could really use another Paladin?

Howdy, OGGM. I've always been jealous of the players who got to do WotR with you as a GM - If I can find the time, I'd like to submit a character for this game too. I've always thought a Skald with Celestial Totem rage powers would be an awesome fit for Wrath - hopefully I can get my ideas into the form of a 6th level character in time to be considered!

I just want to encourage you, this feels, at least to me like a great addition.

Turns out that a 6th level, first tier character is a bit much to pull off in under 20 hours. Good luck to you guys with whoever is lucky enough to join the Crusade!

I took a better look a your group and I think rather than the False Priest Sorcerer of Iomadae that I first proposed the following idea may work better:

Paladin (Holy Tactician)3, from then on Battle Oracle
he will use

Battlefield Presence:
Battlefield Presence (Su)

At 3rd level, a tactician can direct her allies in battle, granting each ally within 30 feet one teamwork feat she possesses as a bonus feat as a standard action. All allies must receive the same feat, but do not need to meet the prerequisites of this bonus feat. This ability does not function if the paladin is flat-footed or unconscious. Allies must be able to see and hear the holy tactician in order to gain this benefit. Changing the bonus feat granted is a swift action.
This ability replaces aura of courage.

to give everyone the

Paired Opportunist teamwork feat:
Paired Opportunists (Combat, Teamwork)
You know how to make an enemy pay for lax defenses.

Benefit: Whenever you are adjacent to an ally who also has this feat, you receive a +4 circumstance bonus on attacks of opportunity against creatures that you both threaten. Enemies that provoke attacks of opportunity from your ally also provoke attacks of opportunity from you so long as you threaten them (even if the situation or an ability would normally deny you the attack of opportunity). This does not allow you to take more than one attack of opportunity against a creature for a given action.

So when I use Greater Trip, AOOs for everyone lol

Greater Trip:

Greater Trip (Combat)

You can make free attacks on foes that you knock down.

Prerequisites: Combat Expertise, Improved Trip, base attack bonus +6, Int 13.

Benefit: You receive a +2 bonus on checks made to trip a foe. This bonus stacks with the bonus granted by Improved Trip. Whenever you successfully trip an opponent, that opponent provokes attacks of opportunity.

Normal: Creatures do not provoke attacks of opportunity from being tripped.

He will have max ranks in Intimidate(Cha) and the Cornugon Smash feat for free action intimidates

Summary:
LG Battle Oracle
he will be an Oracle version of a Reach Cleric using Enlarge Person
Focusing on Standard Action group buffing spells and then AOOs with his Fauchard(exotic) and Trip Maneuvers and providing AOOs to others through the Paired Opportunist feat

I've never played a reach build and I think it will be interesting to simultaneously trip and scare the holy hell out of fiends while buffing his allies in the same round

Hello, I would like to submit Arlena.

As a reason for her mythical powers, she was continuing her work on a potion that would cure her from her demonic taint. She has never been successful, but when the Wardstone exploded, either by chance or divine influence, her reagents resonated with the released energy and absorbed some of it, granting her her mythic power when the elixir was imbibed.

RP Sample:

Arlena has drank one of her Disguise Self extracts to appear human some time prior to this

A plain looking human woman, with her head covered in a cloak, approaches you. Something about her appearance seems odd, but you can't quite picture what it is.

"This is not something I am used to doing, but I need to trust you if we are to work together." As she says this, she draws back her hood, and you see her skin take on a redish tone, while her eyes turn red and a pair of small horns appear admist her hair.

ok, shutting this down. Will get to you via PM.

PMs are out. Welcome to the game!
