Alia of the Blade |

Well, I assume regardless of what the bandits will do, I'll spend a second move action to pick up the quiver, too, then empower the Bow with Arcane Power and return fire at blackie.
She' also warn her partner:"Careful, Scarlet, another one over there!" pointing at Orango.

Zokon unable to see and with friends as well as enemies around him decides to try and be stoic and wait out the nasty effect, keeping his bow up and an arrow ready he stands still.

But for clarification, there is light near me and Scarlet since Blackie ignored miss chance, right? (Mostly asking if the group can see that we are fighting with the bandits, too...)

Zokon Santyev |

Guess I've never even thought of playing an illusionist as I've not seen that... very nasty ability.

Scarlet Scarab |

"Careful, Scarlet, another one over there!"
"If you can handle that kid in the outpost, I'm going in." Scarlet sprints under the trees to find Orango firing his longbow.
"You dropped your sword. Bad move in a melee." Scarlet grins.

That's the one, but nobody (except people who make one of the checks listed in this post) knows that until Faeria's turn.
But for clarification, there is light near me and Scarlet since Blackie ignored miss chance, right? (Mostly asking if the group can see that we are fighting with the bandits, too...)
Nope, just my oversight you are on the very edge of the dancing lights effect (in contrast, Orango and Scarlet are in normal light). Most of the group on the other side of the battle actually can see/hear you fighting.
20% miss chance (Blackie v Alia): 1d100 ⇒ 77 It was a hit.

Alia of the Blade |

Sorry, I had not pointed out the rolls in the "Dice" Sections

Tourque runs off into the woods.
End of Combat (unless Poshment would like to take a final parting shot at Tourque (AC 14 from your position)).
Numalar rouses at the end of the round.

Zokon Santyev |

"It seems we had a common enemy, I am Zokon"

Alia of the Blade |

Damn, why did the idiot with my blade have to run right into these other bandits...
Pulling a new Arrow from the Quiver, Alia seeks Cover nearby, and prepares to fire if Scarlet is attacked.
Working on the assumption you are no more trustworthy than the others here...so, guard will be up until we learn the truth about you not being "other bandits". Since Scarlet is already next to you, I'll let her break the ice.

Scarlet Scarab |

With that done Zokon turns to the two others, he steps to the fore weapon ready"It seems we had a common enemy, I am Zokon"
He waits
As Scarlet prepares to run in, she notes the others in the group cut Kressle down. Scarlet spits in her direction. "Bah. It's probably for the best I didn't get to her." She shrugs and finally acknowledges the "distraction" that introduced himself.
Sense Motive: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
Friend or Foe? If they are foes, they'll regret it. At least Alia can run if need be. But if they are friends, BB would never let me hear the end of it. Shake first, slash later.
"Name's Scarlet." The short redhead sheathes her sword and kukri and offers a hand to shake. "My charge and I were kidnapped by these bandits. Killed the rest of 'our crew. Don't know what they were plannin' to do to us. I was gonna go down fightin when you showed up."
"So uh..." she scratches her head. "You guys friends or foes?"

Celyne |

"I am Celyne, and this is Luna... I believe we are friends, for in this case, the enemy of my enemy may just be my friend. We are a band tasked with bringing some civilization to these lands, and ridding the area of the bandits is part of our goals. What brought you out here into their grasp, if you don't mind me asking?" She keeps her hand on Luna's ruff and pets her when she introduces her.

![]() |

The unconscious form of Numalar begins to shift and writhe. "No, father... not the radishes father. Please... No!"
Numalar jerks awake and looks around confusedly. "ah... What?" He rubs his eyes a moment, and then stands up and dusts himself off. "Ah, yes. Just lulling them into a false sense of security." Numalar looks around at the fallen bandits, and smiles. "I see that it worked."
Numalar picks his longspear back up and walks over to where the rest of the group is standing around Scarlet and Alia. He looks them up and down.
"Friends or foes? Well I suppose that depends on who you are. And who was this 'crew' you were with? Some rival bandit group? Or is the story more interesting?"
Numalar listens closely to their explanation.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

Alia of the Blade |

Just for the record, right now, you're standing next to Scarlet. I didn't come closer yet, and took cover behind a tree with my bow.(not stealth cover, but ranged fire cover...map)...as Scarlet said: Keeping an option to run away if need be, wouldn't want to leave her but realistically, we're both wounded and our chances would be slim if this meeting escalated into more battle-
Also, I color sprayed one of the bandits, too. He's unconscious behind me. I'm ignoring him currently, but if GM+you guys want, he can wake up again and Zokon can "safe" me, so we're all set up for a good start. Since at Level 1, he's out a minimum of 4 rounds, it would be unlikely but possible for him to be up again in a round or two.

Poshment Underhill |

End of Combat (unless Poshment would like to take a final parting shot at Tourque (AC 14 from your position)).
Why not? Give a good far-off shot.
Posh aims the crossbow and gives a final shot, not bothering with a chase if he misses or not.
attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Afterwards
Posh drops the crossbow and walks towards Scarlet.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Poshment Underhill, but please call me Posh." he smiles up to the two women and puts his hand out for them to shake. "We were hoping to rid these woods of the Stag lord. I hope you two lovely ladies can consider us friends. Especially your friend over there with the bow." as he says this he gives a wide and friendly smile.

Scarlet Scarab |

Scarlet shrugs and shakes the Gnome's hand. "Yeah, I was helping Alia and her two friends look for an elven hold? Fortress?...hmm. Well, I'm sure she has more detail than me."
She waves over to Alia. "It's alright, these guys are good. Where were you going, anyway? I'm not much for details."
She looks at Celyne and Luna. "Nice cat. That Kressle ambushed us in the middle of the night. Killed the guide and scholar who was with us, then captured us."

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon sheathes his sword
"The elf behind the tree, you should put the bow up, so that we may converse "
Zokon does not come close to any of the non-bandits yet, he will observe

Celyne |

Celyne casts cure light wounds on herself... then looks around to her companions... "Anyone else need any healing while I'm in the mood?"
clw on self: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Alia of the Blade |

"We may converse just fine, like this, don't you agree?"
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 16
No good...even if they are bandits, you should not antagonize them. Scarlet is right with them...if you can flee, you are alone, in wilderness you don't know...either they will track you, or you'll run into someone or something else ill-meaning...best take your chances with these guys, maybe they ARE good people...
Alia steps from cover, and casually lowers the bow...still holding the arrow in the other hand, slowly advancing towards Scarlet.
"We were captured. But you were not here by chance. Who sent you to take care of these bandits?"
And dangerously undermanned. Some of them look hurt from this battle...if it was not for Scarlet and me, they could have suffered casualties in this...whoever commands their loyalty does not seem to value their lives highly.

Poshment Underhill |

Alia steps from cover, and casually lowers the bow...still holding the arrow in the other hand, slowly advancing towards Scarlet.

And dangerously undermanned. Some of them look hurt from this battle...if it was not for Scarlet and me, they could have suffered casualties in this...whoever commands their loyalty does not seem to value their lives highly.
Or maybe they're fools playing hero? The one shaking Scarlet's hand looks especially foolish.
"If you feel better over there I will not provoke you." Posh states putting his hands up "We were sent by the swordlords of the north to liberate this land from the Staglord. I'm the travelling entertainer of the group." he gives another wide smile and then decides to tell joke about the bandits of the greenbelt. Doing some slapstick as he plays the role of a bandit quite well and making up humorous and some off-colour jokes about them and the local wild-life.
Perform (comedy): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Doing quite well for trying to come up with stuff off the top of his head.

Zokon Santyev |

Zokon starts dragging bandit bodies off to the side of camp, checking if they are still alive.
"No one sent us here, we decided to raid this bandit camp before reprisals, for defeating the bandit raiding party at Olegs outpost"

Alia of the Blade |

"Sent by the swordlords of the north to liberate this land from the Staglord? Or not sent by anyone, raiding this bandit camp before your base is raided?"
The contradicting answers clearly confuse Alia, and raise some suspicion in her...before the Gnome Bard starts with his Antics. There were not great, but for an improvised act, it was good.
"So, either way, you are saying you are not bandits? Now that you raided this camp, where are you headed? I trust Scarlet, but I'd rather we not take our chance and travel alone..."
Alia casually strolls towards the spot where Golden Boy was felled.
Bluff: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 No reason. Really.

Zokon Santyev |

"We were given a charter by the swordlords to explore the greenbelt and remove bandits, this was our move to remove some bandits, now we head back to Olegs to plan and resupply or continue our explorations from here."
