The circumstances of her birth aren't exactly clear. Was her father a fire Djinn? Was there a fire elemental in her ancestry? Did she descend from a race of fire dwarves? This short squat redhead hasn't cared much for that. Shunned by her homeland for her short temper and race, she and her brother roamed the country as mercenaries. She quickly learned how to wield two weapons at once and was able to make a name for herself. Other mercenaries became jealous and often ran her out of town on trumped up charges. Sick of the pointless grind and the happenstances of society, Scarlet became a hermit and lived in the desert for a year. Her brother continued on as a mercenary. She eventually grew lonely and begrudgingly returned home. Scarlet continues looking for her greater purpose, and reuniting with her brohter, who moved on from the last mercenary company.

Blunt and simple-minded, Scarlet sees the world in black and white, and considers strength and construction to be the only real indicators of progress.
