Victoria Velasco |
Victoria tries to help the strangers taking on the stag lord. It's the least she can do since they saved her companion. That creature looks extremely dangerous! I wonder if this will work on him?
move and using slumber hex on Beaky- will save DC17
Poshment Underhill |
Trying to figure out how to get inside...
Posh decided to advance towards the fort, casting vanish on himself so that he can disappear from view in case anyone is watching over the walls to fire at him.
RPGGGM |
Their enemy down the party decides it is time for an All-Out Attack!™
Durgan misses the bow. Serena misses the big bandit. Zokon also misses (the Staggie has +8 AC v Z because of cover and being prone). Alia can't even hop over the scarred man (missed it by that much), but still manages to hit the man himself.

Durgan Far-Walker |
Are you sure Alia failed the check? AC is -4 when prone and penalties to AC also apply to CMD. Unless his actual CMD is >27 so his Prone CMD is >23. It's a bit strange because Alia isn't actually attacking him, so maybe CMD when prone is penalized against attacks but not against Acrobatics?
Durgan again attempts to sunder the Stag Lord's bow.
CMB, Cover, vs Prone: 1d20 + 13 - 4 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 13 - 4 + 4 = 26 I am including the +4 on my end here.
Damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 7) + 10 = 25
18 Str +6, Juggernaut +4
RPGGGM |
Making an acrobatics check is not making a melee attack as is required to impose the -4 AC penalty for being prone.
Illthir Winlowe |
I might have cheated and moved Illthir 5' extra, since I'm not sure which Durgan is the real one
"Zokon see if you can't shoot one of the clowns on the roof!" Illthir calls out as more things are added to the messy heap in front of her. She felt quite emboldened by the fact that the Stag Lord was at the bottom of that.
The half-elf herself made for the stairs. She ducked low and held her hammer at the ready, glancing back at the Stag-Lord time and time again.
Move action to move. Standard action to ready Illthirs last spell - Hideous Laughter at the Stag Lord should he save vs the current one
Falgrim Sneeg |
Zokon perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
comp. shortbow v Zokon (sneak attack): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (4, 4) = 14 +2 bleed damage that happens at the beginning of Zokon's turn.
Zokon feels something strike his calve. He looks up and sees there is an arrow protruding from it and that it is bleeding pretty badly. The offending archer is firing from a gap in the wall, smiling a crooked grin.
Salzarus the Black |
"Oh my tricksy little mud-blood, take this." Slazarus's next words are bit of slithering magic.
Salzarus (and his clones) cast oneiric horror (Will DC 17) targeting Illthir.

Scarlet Scarab |
"Oh my tricksy little mud-blood, take this."
Every single word that came out his mouth made Scarlet's blood boil. Still, old beaky here took a longsword to the gut and it's still kicking.
One more obstacle in the way. Oleg's loss would not be forgotten.
Masterwork Shortsword, Bloodrage, TWF, Sickened: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 2 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 2 - 2 - 2 = 13

Salzarus the Black wrote:"Oh my tricksy little mud-blood, take this."Every single word that came out his mouth made Scarlet's blood boil. Still, old beaky here took a longsword to the gut and it's still kicking.
Beaky's dead. I forgot the +10 mod on the save. Worst coup d'grace ever, aside from Akiros' damage mod.
Scarlet Scarab |
"Oh. Good job, Akiros. Let's do this."
Can I reach Falgrim or Sneeg by moving Southeast? I don't know if the rubble or the roof blocks Mega Scarlet.
Zokon Santyev |
Zokon will draw his rapier as he moves beside the wall and he will stab at his attacker
Rapier - sick: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 Rapier: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Rapier - sick crit confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Rapier: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
RPGGGM |
"Oh. Good job, Akiros. Let's do this."
Can I reach Falgrim or Sneeg by moving Southeast?
Yes, it is just difficult terrain and the roof (or most of it) is 20' high.
Durgan Far-Walker |
It isn't the most honorable way to defeat a foe, but Durgan is more pragmatic than idealistic. He hacks at the prone, ensorcelled Stag Lord.
Attack, 18 Str, Juggernaut +4, Flanking, Large, Cover, vs Prone: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 2 - 1 - 4 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 4 + 2 - 1 - 4 + 4 = 25
Do you prefer us to apply the Prone modifier to attack rolls or do you prefer to apply it to AC? Have it in attack roll here.
Damage: 2d6 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 + 4 = 16
Illthir Winlowe |
Oh no Beaky! (S)he did nothing wrong ... Only because it wasn't given the chance.
Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
The tricksy little mud-blood shakes off the spell!
With a frown Illthir heads towards the pesky mage with hammer in hand. She actually looked forward to seeing if his blood would sparkle or something when splattered over the area. Sadly she just couldn't reach so she settled for flinging a dagger towards (one of his many) faces.
To Hit!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage?: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Scarlet Scarab |
"Wakey wakey." Scarlet walks across the terrain and flanks with Zokon.
I would only have enough time for one swing. Because it's not TWF and I am flanking, I hit AC 17 and deal 11 damage with 2 extra fire damage.
Victoria Velasco |
Victoria picks up her little fox and cradles him in her arms. "Come on, buddy. We aren't out of this yet," she says carrying him with her. (I'm assuming that's a move action.) Then she hurries to a vantage point where she might be able to help the assailants. (2nd move action).
I think she's where Sneeg and friend won't see her yet
The little fox lifts his head just a little and licks her cheek.
Alia of the Blade |
Frustrated that even prone and out-of-combat-readyness, the Stag Lord was more than capable of blocking her passage, Alia gave up on trying to get past him and settled for popping around the corner for swift stabbing action.
Stabbity!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9 Nonlethal Cold+Fatigue: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Confirm?: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
I think that's the last of Frostbite - Staggie should be Fatigued while any of the nonlethal cold remains.
Serena Mistcastle |
With the Stag Lord prone, Serena takes the chance to stand (provoking) and then attempts to stab the Stag Lord.
Attack, enemy prone: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 6 + 4 = 25 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
RPGGGM |
Victoria recovers her furry friend.
Zokon slashes at the man and catches him a glancing blow on the thigh, but the cagey rogue nimbly sidesteps Scarlet's fiery attack. Her sword rebounds off the stone wall shaking some sediment from the shaky ceiling above.
Then, Zokon is struck by a sudden memory.
Finally! Alia, Durgan, and Serena land blows upon Stag Lord himself as the man's laughing fit ends.
Do you prefer us to apply the Prone modifier to attack rolls or do you prefer to apply it to AC? Have it in attack roll here.
You can add it in if you like, but let me know in the text box when you do.
Falgrim Sneeg |
The old snake slashes at Scarlet and then jumps back and away.
rapier v Scarlet: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 miss
acrobatics v grease/AoO from Scarlet: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Note had to move Zokon over a bit so that he could actually have attacked Sneeg (who still has cover because of the walls). Also note that Scarlet and Zokon were not actually flanking him.

Durgan Far-Walker |
Pretty sure Durgan does not get an AOO on the Stag Lord because of cover. Soft cover blocks AOOs?
Durgan attacks the bandit leader with his axe.
This is his 6th round at 18 Str, so presumably the Ray of Enfeeblement should wear off soon. 1-Climb down, 2-Heal Serena, 3-Try to Sunder, 4-Sunder, 5-Attack, 6-This Attack.

Scarlet Scarab |
This old man annoys Scarlet, but he's small fry. The Stag Lord will do for now.
Masterwork Shortsword, Bloodrage, Sickened: 1d20 + 8 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 2 - 2 = 24

Her shortsword burns once more as she swings at the Stag Lord. "I guess it's not funny anymore, huh?"
Illthir Winlowe |
"The clown is running away!" Illthir calls out, hoping someone had a way to stop the mage. She'd try a spell herself - but she wasn't very confident that it'd work. But maybe?
I'm 95% sure the Hideous Laughter readied action didn't trigger right? So trying Grease now!
Move to move and draw sling, standard to cast Grease (or ready action to cast grease under Mr Mage as he lands if he is still airborne)
Victoria Velasco |
Trying to stay low, Victoria scrambles to find a vantage point where she might be able to see one of her captors. Scooting to the other side of the owlbear, she sees the Stag Lord and someone she thinks is one of his lackeys (Sneeg). He doesn't seem to be attacking the "Stag Lord." She whispers an arcane word to try to knock him out.
casting Slumber hex, DC 17 Will save to resist
Zokon Santyev |
Is victoria targetting sneeg please?
Serena Mistcastle |
Serena will take the AoO against Staggie.
Serena vs. Stag Lord: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Serena attacks the Stag Lord again, slashing with her scimitar, "Sarenrae guide my hand! Let me have vengeance against this foe!
Serena vs. Stag Lord: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Zokon Santyev |
Seeing Sneeg move away from him
Zokon goes around the wall and back down the wall, hoping to get tot he opening and be of use. He sheathes the rapier along the way
RPGGGM |
Pretty sure Durgan does not get an AOO on the Stag Lord because of cover. Soft cover blocks AOOs?
Yes.
This is his 6th round at 18 Str, so presumably the Ray of Enfeeblement should wear off soon.
It expires this round.
Serena swings and misses with her first attack but connects with her second as do the groups two giants.

Alia of the Blade |
Alia considers for a brief moment to renew her spell, but how much more could the drunken fool take. It was not worth easing up on the attack or risking a counter..instead, she popped out of cover and stabbed at the man in a now-trained smooth movement.
Stabbathon: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14

Posh decides to advance quickly towards the fort at full speed, but keeping his performance going in hopes of aiding the group.

Posh The gate is still closed, and I already used up all of your performance rounds.
