Meanwhile, there is a horse chase going on.

"YAH!"

ride: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24 horse damage: 1d3 ⇒ 1

Sneeg's horse runs on.

ride (guide): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

ride (spur): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23 horse damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3

Sneeg aims his horse for the horizon and kicks at her flanks to make her move faster. The horse (spurred to a move speed of 60') takes a run action and moves 300' away.

"YAY! YOU OLD NAG! YAY! YAY!"

"Don't worry, you'll notice soon enough!" Illthir swallows a snort and turns it into a cough. I'm sounding like my mother... She stares at the rolling rock for a few moments before dropping her illusion -

"Wha-?!? Heh."

ride: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Taking advantage of the chaos, Sneeg kicks his mount's flanks, wheel's her around, and away from the fight. "HAWHAWHAW!"

"Heh." sniggers Sneeg.

"Meh."

So who's guarding this guy?

{Old man sneer}

Sneeg Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

"Uhh." *THUD*

The old snake slashes at Scarlet and then jumps back and away.

rapier v Scarlet: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16 damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 miss

acrobatics v grease/AoO from Scarlet: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26

Note had to move Zokon over a bit so that he could actually have attacked Sneeg (who still has cover because of the walls). Also note that Scarlet and Zokon were not actually flanking him.

dice:
stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
Zokon perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

comp. shortbow v Zokon (sneak attack): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 damage: 1d6 + 2 + 2d6 ⇒ (4) + 2 + (4, 4) = 14 +2 bleed damage that happens at the beginning of Zokon's turn.

Zokon feels something strike his calve. He looks up and sees there is an arrow protruding from it and that it is bleeding pretty badly. The offending archer is firing from a gap in the wall, smiling a crooked grin.

dice:
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

An arrow whizzes past Alia from out of the shadows!

comp. longbow v Alia (cover): 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (4) + 8 - 4 = 8 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

The grinding noise stops. There's a pregnant pause, and the only sound that can be heard is the Stag Lord's raucous laughter.

dice:
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

I'll show 'em. Heh.

can he withdraw? If so, he has speed 40' and will head to the north and west, trying to scoot past the large two-leg while he continues to sound like he's hacking up hairballs

No, he can't. It takes a full-round action (or if you are limited to how many actions you can take a standard action) to withdraw.

"Heh heh."

The old brigand appears form behind the rough wood wall with a rough-looking rapier in hand. "I hate dogs."

rapier v Arris: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

"NOW!"

purple composite longbow v Scarlet: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Miss

"I'll be back kid. KEEP SHOOTIN'!" Shouts the older man and with that he rushes off.

"HEY! THE GIANT'S DROPPING RAIDERS IN O'ER THE WALL!!" The older man growls unable to draw a bead on the smoke-obscured Zokon. Instead he takes aim at Scarlet's nose, but at that moment the giantess looks down at something bothering her leg.

purple composite longbow v Scarlet: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 Miss

"OUTTA THE WAY BOY!" The older bandit enters the tower and fires on Scarlet.

purple composite longbow v Scarlet: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

"HEY!" he yells while stomping on the floor. "THEY GOT SOME KINDA GIANT UP HERE!"
