Alright, I noted my start date, and date of ascension in my profile to help remind me.
| Yidhra, Goddess of Paradoxes |
And Yidhra will just hope that somebody gets her jokes. XD However, I do plan to issue a Decree eventually... perhaps something along the lines of "Except for Death, Mortals do not have Destinies".
Except, of course, for the little detail that one could argue "destiny" is nothing but the inevitable result of each individual's actions, so if people are going to do something anyway, then they really are destined to do whatever they end up doing, so a decree like this is functionally meaningless and has no effect at all... XD

Yidhra, I love how apathetic your worshippers are.
"there's the crazy thing our goddess made us! we should"
"put it on a pedestal!"
"wait, what?"
"ya, do you know what it does?"
"I have no idea. You?"
"Not a clue. So let's put it on a pedestal and name it something artsy."
....................
I imagine the conversation went something like that.

Still trying to figure out what Melehan should do next. Halp pleez!
"Kiss me, you fool!"
| Jezebelle, our lady of passion |
Hitting on Melehan after our date? How could you?
I know Azdan has some problem with relationships...
But going to see an old lady die is kind of a lousy date.| Jezebelle, our lady of passion |
Typical woman.
Sorry.. I thought "the eternal feminine" was enough of a warning sign.
And believe me, you won't like to see her on that time of the century.| Jezebelle, our lady of passion |
If you have any question or for every discussion for my latest weave plane/cosmic decree.. feel free to do it here.
| Melehan, The Final Arbiter |
I'm unsure if a declaration like "Any mortal who dedicates their life to serving a particular god gets to bypass Melehan's judgment system and goes straight to the court of their god" would be a decree or something. I'm still technically a fledgling as the majority of my actions up to this point have been related to domains I already have, since I needed to get the whole afterlife thingy set up, and so I haven't had any real opportunities to expand my portfolio.
| Jezebelle, our lady of passion |
well. if you intend to enforce that, you don't really need it. you simply redirect the souls as soon as they come to you.
| Liriiestil |
Jez, I am not ignoring you, just trying to think of my response. Will probably post it up tomorrow.

I wanted to try combat both because It felt the right occasion, but also because it's one aspect of the game that is completely untested.
As such.. as sson as we tried the first problem came out...
I quote the rules
During each round of combat, you roll all of the dice for your attack and defense, and compare the numbers to your opponent's rolls. If you rolled more attack than they did defense, then their HP takes damage. There is a 2 damage minimum.
Since it says "If you rolled more attack than they did defense, then their HP takes damage." I assume the 2 damage minimum rule applies before comparing attack and defense.
So if I roll only 1 attack dice and comes out as a 1(or if my opponent has abilities like divine beauty that removes dice from my attack) I still have an output of 2 damage against my opponent defense. (which means that unless your opponents rolls very badly in defense or has no dice to roll at all, those two damage are probably going to be absorbed by defense)
Also I fail to see anything about regaining lost hp.
Maybe the hp are meant to last for just one confrontation.
So every battle sees you at full Hp no matter how many battles you sustain.
But I think is more fun and more logical to assume you regain some hp during rollovers.
In that care how much?
All of it? Just a little bit? is that influenced by your rank?
Anyway if we accept the rule "regain hp during rollover" I would add the little clause "only if you are not currently fighting".
Otherwise people may recover hp faster than they lose them.
What do you guys think?
| Jezebelle, our lady of passion |
I'm preeeeeeeetty sure that you're meant to have full HP between battles. ^^ Unless, I dunno, somebody jumps you literally as soon as the previous battle ends or something.
Yeah I'm sure that's what is intended.
But my fundamentally backstabbing nature suggest that the latter hypothesis would be much more fun.

I'm sorry, gang. My free lance schedule ramped up and A couple of ideas for the next two GenCons exploded in my mind. I haven't forgotten the game, I just got really busy writing for money. Dirty, filthy, rotten stinking ooh-is-that-a-series-of-Famine-ties-on-Etsy money.

| Melehan, The Final Arbiter |
After a bit of thought, I've categorized Melehan's expenditures as the following:
AP Gains and Expenditures:
15 starting points
Create Legendary Concept (Souls) -5 AP (Repose)
Create Legendary Concept (Afterlife) -5 AP (Repose)
Weave Plane (The Amaranthine, the land of the dead) -5 AP (Repose)
gain 4 ap
gain 4 ap
gain 4 ap
Ability Gained: Crystal Seer (-5 AP) (Vigilance)
Join Pantheon (-1 AP) (The North)
gain 5 ap
Weave Sanctum (-3 AP): The Last Tribunal (Repose)
gain 5 ap
Weave Plane The Peak of Paradise and the Pit of Perdition. (-5 AP) (Repose)
Create Demigod (Artioa, the Black and White Warden) (-5 AP) (Repose)
gain 5 ap
Create Greater Life (The Sidhe): -3 AP (The North)
Form Society (Sidhe): -1 AP (The North)
Bless (Uplift the Sidhe to civilization): -1 AP (The North)
gain 5 ap
Boon (Melehan reincarnates fallen Oreads as new Narzions): -3 AP. (Cycle of Life)
gain 5 ap
Create Legendary Life (Psychopomps): -5 AP (Repose)
Current AP: 15
Would these be okay categories? With Azdan and Oenar sort of fading out of the picture due to stuff, Melehan stands to become the sole deity in the North (Steven T. Helt, if you don't want me to do this, please let me know).

If I wanted to create a race that was super adaptable, able to physiologically alter its body(possibly its mind as well) to overcome challenges, obstacles and hardships, would that be Greater Life or Legendary Life?
