Sorry had a 4 day stint in the hospital due to a bug bite that started out as an allergic reaction, got infected, and started going septic. Just getting back into the swing of things now.
Sorry to hear that you're having to deal with that stress.

Wow, what's worse, psychological stress, or a hospital visit?
Just had a week of job hunting, now that I'm no longer taking care of the parents. I don't want to take the Covid jab in any form, but that means I may not be able to have employment within 2 miles of my house. Sigh. Back to the daily 1-hour commute...
Will post more adventure today!

Hope everyone is doing okay, I've put this off for far too long and I think it's best I bow out of this game ( and others I'm on), I just keep forgetting to come to the forums to check and post and when I do I just post the bare minimum, It's become a chore that I don't look forward to, and me not posting and holding things up isn't fair to the other players or the GM.
I got Covid again near the end of June and that really took it out of me, but for this game in particular we've been in this dungeons for literal years and that's just drained everything out of me honestly.
Nothing against any of you, absolutely not, you're the best.
Edit: FIVE years we've been in this dungeon, five. I'm done, sorry.

Well, folks, I'm going to call this game. I do agree with Yazi. I would continue on, but Hajar has not been on in months, we're all down to once-a-week (if then) posting, and we still have an entire book to go.
It's been fun. I got lots of experience. I will check to see if anyone responds to this post, but I recently lost my mother, lost my neighbor across the street that I cared about, and started a new job that is practically 12-hour shifts. Something's got to give.
You guys and gals have been the best. Thank you all for being here for each other, for me, and for former players. Real life does interfere quite a bit, I'm sad to say.
I wish you all the best for 2022, and beyond.

It's been a pleasure. Thank you for running this game, and for sticking it out to this point. You did a wonderful job.

GM Pace, you have been an all star. I hate to even ask, but is it possible to have a small epilogue where we reunite with our families and friends on the material plane? I am open to writing it, if that is fine with everyone? Just for some good closure. I too have felt the drain of 5 years of dungeons and have not been good about posting lately. But I would love for us to have a celebratory end instead of a fizzle. I am willing to help write, but up to you all.

It’s hard to believe but we started this game before I even met my wife. Now we are married with a five year old. I am sure we have all seen a lot happen in the last 8 years. I remember GM Pace, when you father died, and now your mother. You all have been good friends and offered words of encouragement when my childhood home burnt down and also when I got married.

During the course of the game I have lived in:

Newport, RI
Jacksonville, FL
And now Chesapeake
Really brings it into perspective

Michael,
August has been/is terrible, and September is not looking better for me. I may have to quit the Coast Guard Auxiliary because of this job's eating into my free time and personal time.
I couldn't even look into a fanfic story, as you described, until late September 2022, at least.

Hello everyone! I'm so sorry that I disappeared as well... it's unlike me, but work and life got busy, and with the dissolution of the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, I honestly just got down on the whole Paizo thing in general.
While I am also super sad to see the game end, I agree that we were at that point. It was a monumental feat for Pace to keep it going as long as you did. We were quite the motley crew, and it was so much fun to play in the heyday.
Thank you so much for the good times!!
