@Hadassa : I know you have a ton of work to do, but I have just a few questions for when you'll have the time:
1-Can we choose any traits in any sources ? I took one from the APG and the other from legacy of fire player's guide..
2-Not really important now, but out of curiosity : Which type of campaign is it experience-wise? How much xp must we have to be 2nd level ?
3-Can I have had my flail painted in red, or maybe just the spikes if not fully ? It would "dramatize" et personnalize the look of this weapon, and Avenka would be so happy :)
Hah. Looking at the character sheets seems almost all of our characters fall between 20 and 30.
Avenka is the youngest at 17
Then we have Anjali who is 20
Hajar and Khayal are both 22
Dhavyn is 26
Bartan 27
Bahram's and Yazi's ages are not listed but Bartan is probably the oldest of the guys considering all backstories. Yazi is.. er half-elf? Aasimar? Might make her the oldest chronologically.

Actually in Finland but we have had rather tumultous spring. The normal cool periods are mixed with uncharasterically warm, if stormy, ones.
Why just last week we got a sudden massive hailstorm. Actually some unholy stepchild of thunderstorm and hailstorm because it mixed lightning, torrential rain, strong downward flows, and hailstones. I don't recall even the fall storms hitting that hard. Keep in mind that we do not have real tornados here (the most we have are thrombus).
Anyhow. The weather should be back to 10 degrees celcius next week so I thought I might as well enjoy the warm sunny days while they last. :)

It's actually yiddish (same alphabet though) and the text has a meaning. It's not exact spell name though. It's actually creatively translated through two languages. :)

The "viking dog" is actually a persian greyhound aka Saluki. He has just always been a bit on the shaggy side. He is my parents' dog and as he is over 11 years old they pretty much let him be without subjecting him to trimming or other similar discomforts. :)
My dad had a birthday today actually. We don't really celebrate birthdays but keep in touch so we met at the cottage. The water is still damned cold (around 10 degrees celcius I believe) but it's still a nice cool dip from sauna.
The cottage is owned by my parents but I live only around ~30 minutes drive from it. A bit shorter trip for them actually.

Sorry didn't notice your request before posting. Anyhow it might be a good idea to assume he just faded to the background and hop into the interrogation directly.
That's what I did with Dhavyn when I was away and the Bartan - Khayal - Hajar - Avenka exchange was going. Just let him fade to the background and wove him back in when we entered to the tent.
Trying to interject when the narrative has already moved ahead tends to throw it into chaos. We are all going to miss parts and the stuff inside was mostly narrative fluff. Not actual gameplay until we got the guards in so plenty of room in our little interrogation game. :)

PC interaction is fine I missed the whole story moving forward.
a lot to catch up on and there may have been things I could have done to make things easier. the opportunity to act in character involving a major NPC is gone.
I don't want to hold things up any more so I had an idea and sent a PM to the DM to assist.
It's no good if people are feeling left out. Does anyone else feel that way? I guess we could slow down to the originally intended two posts a day if the speed is perceived as an issue? Better talk this out early on than let it simmer!
It would probably be easier for us all to slow down than for all to speed up? Especially since we cover a lot of timezones.
I think at least my own writing pace starts high and probably settles around a 2-3 posts a day when the game matures realistically thinking. I do like fluff writing though and currently I still reside firmly in the "this is cool and exciting" phase so I'm writing a lot in both discussion and gameplay threads. :)

Anjali was using a move action to get to the pens at the end round 2, with my intention of rolling Handle Animal in round 3, but other people got there before me. Had to change what I intended to do at that point.
It's the nature of the beast in PbP though. People may post before you and as a result, you change what your character ends up doing.
But most of it is fluff interaction, like Dhavyn said. Slowing down is fine with me. I'm just hoping for more character interactions here so that PbP can shine the way it should and not feel like just another tabletop game. :)
Also, is it normal to have that much OOC posts in the game thread?

what i am referring to is moving main story events forward without at least a nod to each PC for input.
the story moved forward at a fast pace. I have to figure out what we we are investigating still. I just know that we put out some fires..

I'm not too keen on pure OOC posts in the gameplay thread either to be honest. I usually prefer background discussions in a neutral area such as the discussion threads. The ooc interjections are fine as part of a narrative post. This is my preference naturally.
@Bahram: I'm sure you will have plenty of opportunities to flirt with her. Actually it might have been amusing if Bahram was trying it right now. She left the tent after all. Split the narrative to a "sidequest" so to say.
You are right though. It probably would not have worked considering she just lost a dear friend. It's a bit different situation than when you break up with someone. Even if Bahram manages to be the type of sneaky bastard who offers consolatory words and gestures he is not likely to bed her anytime soon if I'm any judge of a (fictional) character.
He might win her trust though and who knows where that road takes so I say go for it!

Alright, game on. Thank you for holding up and letting everyone get a chance to get up to speed. In my excitement I pushed the plot forward faster than a few players could handle and broke their suspension of disbelief. But it's all handled now. Game freakin on!

Just to clarify my ooc about flirting : I try to play Avenka kind of like Red Sonja in the 1985 movie, except Avenka won't necessarily say yes to a man that can beat her in combat like Sonja did :)
I just want people around to feel like she's really not into romance or flirting, and mostly, I want to avoid slowing the game too much with multiple series of flirting that would lead to nothing, but me as a player don't mind those posts at all. So that ooc was just some info that everyone gathered about her during their journey together before the actual game started...
