I put in a Handle Animal skill check to help out the PCs, but a quick look at people's character sheets shows that may have been in vain.
Nobody put any ranks into Handle Animal? Even with a good CHA score?

I knew this would happen. You haven't leveled...yet. You should prepare. You are very close. I don't want to spoil any plans to finish these rooms or move on to another set of rooms, if you think your magic will hold out.

GM News: Firefox decided to do another "update", and I lost every add-on I've ever used on the browser. So I said "That's it!" and switched to Brave browser. But Brave doesn't do New Tab Tools pre-windows on a new tab the way Firefox did, so I lost all my shortcuts. Short version: I'm having to get to Pazio.com "the long way", so I'm not checking as often as I was.
But let the game continue!

One item that I've told Hajar in private is that your multi-hour protections are just about out of time, so unless Hajar can renew them, you'll be losing the Fire Protection in a matter of seconds...
You've all had a long day exploring the Palace, and it might be time for a tactical retreat. Of course, that may depend upon Rayhan and his Teleports-of-the-day.

I'm in the Guard, so any time we have a natural disaster type thing I get called up and I'm often in spots where I have no cell/laptop.

No posts over this weekend (03-04 Aug). I'm going to be on Lake Gaston, NC, tomorrow, getting another skill point in Sailor (Powerboat) with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. So no posts until Tuesday, unless Nasir posts before 5am tomorrow (Monday).

Yeah, speaking of which, I got caught up in preparations. Mowing the lawn. Picking up yard tools that the wind might carry in undesired speeds and locations. So let's get the game moving!
Anybody else having trouble getting to Pazio this week? I was literally unable to get in Wednesday and Thursday. I also had to reset my cable modem twice just to get the Internet back, it just sat there and timed out for hours.
Getting ready to go to bed early, I've got to get up before 0400 tomorrow so I can go to Jordan Lake, North Carolina, and do some Coast Guard Auxiliary stuff. Getting another point in Profession:Sailor.
So I won't be able to post today, Friday. I'll try to post tomorrow. Will Yazi "save" the efreeti, or decide it's easier to knock him out first? Find out this weekend!

Good news!
It turns out my inability to get to Pazio.com was caused by a home router overheating after 10 years of use. So an order on Ebay for an upgraded router, the arrival of said hardware, and a couple of reboots on the home network, and all my slowdowns and time-outs are a thing of the past!
So now I can get back to normal once-a-day posting!
