Ok so I'm going to risk the karma gods by saying it's looking like things are finally stabilizing with the site. Do we want to start back up?
Yes, let's start.
Hurricane Florence is bearing down on North Carolina, and I'm in the central-northern portion of the state, so all I should get is some rain, but if Flo dumps enough rain on us to cause power outages, there's a chance I won't be able to post.
(Hey, it could be worse - I could live in Wilmington, NC. They're about to get some storm surf surge.)

I am meeting my ship on deployment tomorrow (so am writing this from a hotel room). DM Pace and I have emailed back and forth some options for me to continue to play as Khayal while underway. We think we have some solutions that will work but in case they do not, I have posted Khayal's progression at the bottom of his profile and he may be a GM PC for a bit. This will thankfully be a shorter deployment as I am meeting the ship part way through, so even if I am unable to post, I wont be gone too too long.

No problem! I'm waiting on you guys & gals. I only invoke the "24-hour rule" when necessary.
As it turns out, Hurricane Michael was fiercer than expected, especially at my house. I've got 1/4 of a 40-year-old ash tree down on my side property now, a ruined apple tree that almost came out by the roots in the back yard, and lots and lots of debris everywhere. Plus 2 inches of soggy rain. And my main Internet is out - I'm on Wi-Fi backup.
I'm going to be using the chainsaw a lot over the next couple of days, so I might not post again until Spectrum fixes my cable modem connection and I get both front and back yards presentable again. That'll be next week.
But don't let me stop you from posting!

Still waiting for a Spectrum technician to come out to my house. He'd better show up soon, my Wi-Fi is 80% used up for the month just reading e-mail! Khayal did e-mail me an action, I'll try to post that tonight.
Everyone check your saves and current hit points. Khayal lists his Will Save as "+5", which mathematically works out to his Wisdom of "10" being 0, plus 3 for his level of Fighter, plus Iron Will (+2). I think he forgot to add the Fighter special class feature of "bravery", which technically makes his Will Save +8 against fear, not +5. And Khayal has taken Improved Iron Will, so he can reroll his save once per day. So his stats should read "+5 (+8 against fear)".
As for the hp, we're doing a lot of damage, but this creature has a retaliatory strike, so let's not lose count.
Alas bravery got swapped out with weapon master archetype. (In port once more)
Nuts! I missed that. Well, what is written is written. Well, the reroll helps, but I still miscalculated.
I'm hearing crickets out here! Everybody okay? We're about to enter the birthday/holiday season, so I can understand some breaks in the game.
I'm still very much around, but yeah with holidays coming up I'm sure this will be a slow couple months.

Just because the last couple of books Yazi's been in the last Big Monster battle, soaked to the bone in the blood of her enemies, and I haven't seen a washing machine since leaving Katapesh.
