Sorry for the delay. Wiped out, and now my laptop has issues.
Been a rough day. My dog is passing away. He is almost 13, he lived a good and loved life. He is technically my parents dog but we got him when I was 16 so I consider him my childhood dog. Even though I moved away I've been lucky enough to now live about an hour from my parents, so I've been able to spend more time with him these past couple years. My mom and sister are taking it the hardest. He will probably not live past tomorrow, but thankfully he is not in pain.

Losing a dog is like losing a child. You have my sympathies, Michael/Khayal.
I have always thought that yes, we domesticated wolves into being dogs, but a dog is a friend for life. If you ever want to see "eternal youth", just watch a dog with its' master, no matter how old.

Yeah man. Right before my oldest daughter was born I lost my dog to kidney failure. I still haven't gotten another one. That was nearly 6 years ago.
We put our dog down last night. He is at peace and so am I.
There is still sorrow, but there is much less anguish.
That was probably the most emotionally difficult thing I have ever had to do.
Mostly because of the choice I had in putting him down. While not fully my decision, I was a part of it. I have lost people I love before, but never had to make a choice in the matter.
I can not imagine the pain of having to take a family member off of life support. It is something I hope to never have to do.
Just a notice, starting Sunday, August 20th, I'll be on a road trip until Tuesday the 22nd. Assuming we make it through the Great American Eclipse on the 21st, and there are no tidal waves near Norfolk, VA, I'll be reading and posting only sporadically.
Everybody okay? If you are feeling tired of Kakishon, we could finish this book up by the end of the month. There are still several plot hooks, which as GM I only need to pull one or two myself. You can move on to the next book in the Legacy of Fire quite easily now.
Kakishon isn't keeping my interest as well as other sections of the game have, I'll admit. I'd be happy to finish up this leg of the story and move on.
I am happy either way.
I just don't like how the AP sets up and then the AP is all like "Yeah, but you gotta wait like 6 weeks to get back..." Kinda breaks the mood for me.
Just think of it as your flight being diverted to another airport in another state, Hajar. Of course, no paid hotel room with free cable here!

I think only Khayal can not fly, if Rayhan teleports Khayal and everyone else flies out, I think we should be fine.
I'm slammed this weekend, and since the rounds are taking me about 2 hours to type out, I can't get to it until Sunday or Monday.

My father fell at home last night, on his 76th birthday. We're trying to decide whether to call the EMT this morning due to complications. I may be out of it for a few days.

Thanks, all. I caught a cold from my infant nephew too. Well, my Dad is in the hospital due to a kidney infection. He'll be there a few days. On with the game! It's still Monday!
FYI, I'll be out of town starting later today until Sunday night for PAX Unplugged, and I don't foresee myself updating my games much during that time. Feel free to bot Bartan with card tosses and such.

On a personal note, my father is still in the hospital, angry as a wet hen. He's supposed to come home Monday the 20th. He still has a lot not healthy with him at the moment.
My father passed away this morning. It was quick. But I'm still a bit choked up. I'm at home, so the posts should continue unabated.

It's a tad early, but at the End of Eternity's conclusion, everybody levels to Level 11! But I need to know about negative level rolls, etc. Was it just Rayhan being raised resulting in 2 negative levels?

Skills: perception, and survival
Didn’t quite make it to 50 confirmed crits so cant take relentless butcher as my feat yet. But I should be able to next level.
I have one more skill point, I’m not sure where to put it, but I would like it to make sense based on what he has experienced lately. He has been using survival and perception but I’m not sure what else has developed. Perhaps knowledge planes or arcana picked up from Rayhan? Or perform dance picked up from seeing Nasir battle? Not that he would be particularly good at any of these. Any thoughts?
Do you guys/ladies think that I should go with Greater Two Weapon fighting for the extra attack, or go with Advanced Weapon training for:

for which he has Weapon Focus and that belongs to the
associated fighter weapon group. The fighter can deal
damage with this weapon based on the damage of the
warpriest’s sacred weaponACG class feature, treating his

Given that Khayal is the tracker of the group, I would suggest Survival.
You're soon going to be at the level where everything has DR and Resistance and/or 300 hp, so any bonuses that can get around those will be beneficial.
Well, Hajar doesn't have much to choose from this level
New spells tho, gotta make some choices here.
I've boiled it down to
Shield of Dawn Very thematic, but Hajar doesn't get hit often in combat..that's Yazi's thing.
Divine Power Like a super divine favor spell, pretty nice. Solid spell imho
Crusader's Edge Evil Outsider Bane...aren't Efreeti those? Checks PRD....nope. Nvm then.
Gonna get Cure Critical and Restoration from my choice of mystery.
For my feat its gonna be Extra Revelation so I can get
Safe Curing (Su): Whenever you cast a spell that cures the target of hit point damage, you do not provoke attacks of opportunity for spellcasting.
If Hajar gets restoration, then Bartan's and Rayhan's negative levels are solved.
