Yep yep. You can use a move action to do something OTHER than move, like draw a weapon, etc., but taking a 5-foot step precludes you from doing another movement that turn.

Hajar nar Jundi |

@Bartan Correct, my mistake. I meant movement, but typed move action.
@Dhavyn yeah, move Hajar along with Dhavyn, no other actions to take at the moment.
Yazi, you moved, bull rushed and intimidated last round. You can either attack or intimidate as well as move. Attacking is a standard action, Demoralizing an opponent is a standard action.
Action: Using Intimidate to change an opponent's attitude requires 1 minute of conversation. Demoralizing an opponent is a standard action
Guys with 8 people, its going to be impossible for the GM to balance combats if you insist on destroying the action economy.

Sunday I probably wont post at all. Tomorrow will be hit or miss. Next week I should be able to post freely in the evening.

Bartan Harrowborn |

I should be able to post at least a few times tomorrow, but Sunday I probably won't be posting until the evening.

Dhavyn Barr |

FYI: Heading off to sleep. It's already 1 am here and gotta be up early tomorrow and I will be spending the day playing lumberjack. This means that I will be back around 10-11 PM (it's now 1 AM here) so my tomorrow's post will be sporadic. Sunday is likely to be ok for me.
Once Avenka's turn is over and new round starts assume Dhavyn takes one of the following actions:
1. If no one attacks the pugs in the SE and they don't scutter anywhere assume that Dhavyn goes after them.
2. If someone attacks them or they move beyond 30 ft range Dhavyn targets the ones on the NE.
3. If they move out of 30 ft + 15 range assume Dhavyn moves 30 ft and tosses another fire ray at the closest one.
If at least two of them stay in current positions/within 15 cone range after move Dhavyn is going to use burning hands on them. Currently he should be able to hit all 3 NE and both of 'em in SE. Dhavyn has gifted adept for +1 CL. Fire Focus makes DC15 (reflex half).
-------------------------------------------------
If Hadassa could paste following text when it's Dhavyn's turn and roll for damage I'd appreciate it.
Dhavyn rushes ahead gathering his power as he does. He spreads his hands exclaiming ברענען הענט and sends a fan of searing hot flames at the hapless pugwampis.
Burning Hands: V, S / 15 cone burst / Reflex DC15 for 2d4. Flammable materials burn if the flame touches them. A character can extinguish burning items as a full-round action.

Guys with 8 people, its going to be impossible for the GM to balance combats if you insist on destroying the action economy.
This would definitely become true at higher levels. Yazi, I simply ignored the intimidate check because it wasn't a legal action. But I suppose I should have asked which action you wanted to take, the punt or the intimidate! Sorry.

![]() |

My bad! Forgot you have to spend feats to drop it down to swifts, don't really use intimidate that much so meh.
Todays derpy moment brought to you in part by Yazi Inc.

Anjali Nejem |

Finally done packing for my workshop this weekend.
I will be pretty scarce. Long workshop hours on both days plus a dinner Saturday night. I may not be around much at all this weekend.
Will try to peek in if possible at night.

I kept telling myself I was going to do a piece stippled in ink with watercolor wash but it hasn't happened yet! Good combo. I can see why you like it.
Yeah compared to other liquid mediums I explain it as "having to work with the water rather than just painting it" I've always liked the overlays, filling, and amount of shading you can get when you mix water with a medium. Lol I should probably say my preferred medium is water :3

Hadassa |

Wow, you guys and I couldn't be from more opposite worlds. I'm an industrial engineer. A very boring uncolorful one:)
Pathfinder lets you meet cool, different kinds, of peeps...

Do you get to blow stuff up?

Around his waste is a belt on which are tied barely alive Pugwampis
That is ALL kinds of awesome!
...
AND CHEATING!!!!
...
I want one...

Hadassa |

Haha! Yeah, made it up me'self. You are welcome to take his belt-of-living-pugwampis +1 if you can get it from him Yazi!
Mabe you could draw up a good painting of it for us and we can sell it to Paizo...Partners? *extends hand for the shaking*

Bahram the rogue |

ok finally home and can see the map.. what in the world are all the lines and stuff.
I moved Bahram from round 3 now I need to post round 4 and 5 right?

Bartan Harrowborn |

Bahram takes a five-foot step to his left, (still 25 feet from the pugs, mind you) and lets a card fly at pug B.
Card throw: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 5 - 2 = 15
Damage: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
BTW, I'm not using harrow cards to throw yet, my one harrow deck is too precious. I'm throwing regular playing cards that I've enchanted with my arcane pool. :-D
Heh... posted this in the wrong thread. Copy-pasted.

Avenka Thalma |

Maybe it's just me, but I find the combat pace a bit too much. Avenka killed 2 times the same pug because one afternoon I was busied and must have posted for 2 rounds in the same post :(
If everyone likes it that way, ok, I'll get used to it, but I would prefer if it was less...chaotic. Maybe it's just because i'm a new pbp player...

Hadassa |

Avenka, that's my fault: I skipped you two rounds in a row and that alwasy cause confusion.
This is the fastest pbp game i've ever played. They arn't normally like this, lol! I'm sure it will slow down.

Dhavyn Barr |

Well Dhavyn, Khayal, and Bartan all killed the same pug. It's not a huge issue for me though.
What confuses me is if people take actions after the round has ended and a new one has started. For example last round I spent roughly half an hour trying to figure out which action belonged to which round, who hit what, and in which order. It didn't help that at one point it says "still on round 4" when it had not even started yet.
Then Avenka took both round 3&4 actions at same tine when round 4 had already started and round 5 actions started while my round 4 actions were still pending.
I don't like it because it makes hard to follow the action. Assume that Dhavyn skipped round 4 and the burning hands happen on round 5. Actually always assume Dhavyn takes the action on the round I post. If he misses a round it's better than the confusion that acting actions from another round causes.
This is why I requested DM to take my action on round 4 if I was not able to, so I would not need to do retroactive actions. Skipping the round is fine too.

Dhavyn Barr |

Also my posting will still be sporadic until I get home. We wrapped up the work here (it's 7 pm) but it's sauna time in 30 mins or so which is going to consume a few hours, and then there's still the drive to home so don't expect any real posting until around 11 pm.
Shared my phone's internet connection with the tablet so at least it's a bit easier to write now.

Avenka Thalma |

Yeah, I took both rounds 3 & 4 because round 4 has already started before I could act in round 3. I didn't want to skip my turn. Ok if I would not have posted in 24 hours maybe, but I think I post enough...
It said 1-2 posts a day was required, but we double that easily. No problem for me when it's role play, but in combat, I think we should wait at least for everybody to take actions in one round before skipping to the next.

Dhavyn Barr |

Actually you can skip me if it looks like you have to wait i.e. if I'm the only one remaining and have not posted within a few hours of the last person. It's not a huge issue for me as I said above and I actually prepared for that considering that I'm on European timezone unlike the others. No reason to make others wait. I'll just skip that turn.
That was not my issue anyway. My issue is with out of round postings because it makes hard to understand what is going on.

Hadassa |

I understand and agree with the concern. Root cause is me skipping people though (I'm an industrial engineer, remember haha!). So I will give more of a chance, especially if like Avenka says, the player we are waiting on has filled the agreed upon daily post quota like everyone has. Fair?
Oh, are you posting from in a sauna naked? wow you are dedicated!

Hadassa |

It didn't help that at one point it says "still on round 4" when it had not even started yet.
I can explain this. You see, I have ADD. Seriously, the air force actually gave me a waiver for it back in '02. So you see, I actually have a waiver for that mistake :)

Dhavyn Barr |

Ah okies. Waivers make everything better. Actually I had no idea what ADD is but /wikipedia helped me there. It would be called keskittymishäiriö or tarkkaavaisuushäiriö in my native language. :P
As for the sauna thing. Heh no. It was delayed a bit. Anyhow. I'm back home now!

Khayal Bin Haleen |

My rolls against the Gnoll were nat 18 +9 rerolled with a nat 20 +9, the worst of wich is the nat 18 +9.The Kukri crits on a nat 18-20 so I am pretty sure that should have been a crit on the gnoll, unless a 24 did not confirm.

Bartan Harrowborn |

Edited to reflect that information. Unfortunately Dhavyn is in the only space where I could hit both of them, so I'll have to settle with just one. :(

Bahram the rogue |

I will be out all day and night. I may not be available to post.
If need be bot bahram just assume he sneaks up to nearest target to attack and get sneak attack
