I could very well be wrong, but from what I'm reading just like asking someone to help you create an item you can have a secondary caster help make a scroll. So Ali you could always spend a few hours with Davosh and create a few scrolls.

Feat: Extra Hex (Healing) I figure we could use more. Each day I can cast Cure Moderate Wounds on each of you, but only ONCE. I suggest we let me use my hex first when possible.
Skills: I took a boat load (9), nothing new just bumping my existing. Mostly knowledge
Spells: I can cast 3rd level spells. I resisted the urge to do blasting anything as I want to explore lesser known spells and make Davosh a debuffer (since I've never played one before). So be on the lookout for things like Dispel Magic.
Items: I'm going to buy/scribe scrolls if the GM says says to Ali's request :-)
Time is a factor, but a couple of days isn't an issue.
I just crashed course on the item creation process, as I've spent nearly all my time in 3rd Edition and its derivatives not playing casters (and not using item creation feats). Looks like the Spellcraft check for such a wand is 11, since Ali doesn't personally know the spell.

One draw back to having 25 characters active (this is not an exaggeration, I have 25 active PFS characters) is the consumables. I just looked at Davosh's sheet and I totally forgot about his Robe of Useful items. I will endeavor to keep it fresh in mind going forward!

I'm close, with 21 PFS characters (including one pseudo-retired, 1 perm dead, and various GM blobs) plus two non-PFS aliases and another for a F2F game. So I get it.
Which reminds me, totally need to macro with ya on some consumable stuff for my PFS life oracle; my lack of caster background showed last week as I resorted to alchemist's fire in a 6-7 subtier (before his face blew up to 61 points of alchemist bomb, that is).
One thing I do with my PFS characters that I need to do with Davosh is the "pre-game warm-up." Not only do I look over the sheet, but I have a couple of things in the file for each:
1. Everything is meticulously cross referenced: boon bonuses to skills, class ability descriptions, etc. It helps me remember what I can do as a character.
2. Each character has highlighted their default preparations and techniques. (This actually includes their personalities too.) This way I don't forget to do things like Life Link, or that I can parry/riposte.
3. I look at what I'm working towards in the next level. I find this helps me picture the character's growth and therefore where he is at the moment.
On wand crafting: I'd like to take 2 days and craft 2 wands: shield and CLW (with Eds help, and I can't fail that spellcraft). If each player coughs up 75 gold as their share of the CLW that would be great!
GMTS: what are your thoughts on crafting a partially charged wand? 2,250 is a lot of gold all at once for a L2 spell wand...wondering if I could do, say, 25 charge wand (not now though, in the future...)
Would like to purchase 2 spring loaded wrist sheaths. And maybe a cloak of resistance if I can find one...
Wands are always fully charged (50 charges) when created.
So no go on a partially charged wand (or staff, when/if the time comes, as it has the same text).
Finding the wrist sheaths and the cloak aren't an issue.
another question, GMTS: does the 10% markup also apply to crafting item supplies?
With your OK, I'll mark down as purchased a Cloak of Res +1 (1,100 gp), and 2 wrist sheathes, and having crafted a wand of Shield and, with Ed's help, a wand of CLW (everyone pitch in 75 gp if you please).
I've never had a character with Craft Wand before. I hope it's worth taking!! (if I keep using a 2-handed weapon, Shield will never go out of style)
That will take 2 days of downtime.
Davosh and Ed...if there's any spell you want a wand of (now or later), I'll help with crafting it. Just remember the rule of "minimum DC", which means any spell w/a save is going to be a lot weaker than usual.
Considering the circumstances, I'll say yes — crafting materials are also subject to the markup cost.

I would like to take you up on your offer and spend the 75gp for the wand, if everyone else is down with that. If not, then Ed would pick up the remainder of the cost. I am trying to save some serious cashola so in 2 levels when I pick up craft wonderous I can make those boots. $2500

I'm currently swamped at the moment for Pathfinder. I accidentally overcommitted myself to PbP, though I have 3 of them wrapping up today and tomorrow, which should help. I have a convention next weekend in which I'm running two interactive specials (which are by far the hardest scenarios to prep for) and Bonekeep (Pathfinder's version of the Tomb of Horrors).
Additionally I have some Society venture officer stuff on the table.
tl;dr: Alive, but gaming time allotment is largely spoken for until next weekend.

DMTS, I completely understand Real Life [tm] comes first . Sucks that your in that position, hope everything works out for the better. Political views aside, when a ship is sinking sometimes hard choices need to be made to try to right it again. Hope you don't get to caught up in it, and can maintain/ increase your prosperity.
That being said, take your time, and I will try to be more patient. Just starting to get some identity behind these characters and was excited to see some more devolpment.
Kappi that sucks, with as much public sentiment that is being thrown against those in your profession you should at least get paid to take it. :D. So if they won't pay you make sure you have random conversations with all the elected officials when they are in a hurry LOL!!! Abuse that power and like it.
I won't share much more here except to say that the IL governor is a political neophyte who made personal wealth as a vulture capitalist and has demonstrated zero interest in negotiating. The General Assembly is hardly blameless in the present crisis; however, trying to compromise with a governor whose idea of compromise is "this is my offer" is problematic.
Politics is the art of compromise; I strongly suspect that this governor sees the current state of affairs as a feature, not a bug.
Anyway.

I'm sort of back - but to keep you guys in the loop here's my deal.
I am screwed on my Army side job. I'm the Brigade S3 (think COO for an organization of abut 3,000) and we have a massive training exercise this summer in Wisconsin. Our higher HQs has bailed out on grounds of real world stuff, leaving us (my brigade) filling their role. So now I'm doing all of their stuff too, except without the rank or position power to accomplish what needs to be done.
I'm also currently managing the water and filters for Flint, MI in my FEMA job. Regarding that job, I got a promotion - go me. Good news is huge pay bump, way bigger responsibility and impact. Bad news, it is 12 hours shifts on a 24/7/365 watch, and it is in a SCIF so no phones or personal use of the computers.
I'm also on the board of directors for the DC chapter of the National Defense Transportation Association, but in all honesty I have been letting that responsibility slip in favor of the rest.
Oh yeah, also married so working very hard to balance work/wife. Anyway just letting you know why I've been so negligent in here (and CoCT). Like S, this stuff is my drug of choice, so I'm trying to make more time but real life is insane right now.

It's too bad there isn't more beyond this. Not that I'd be hitting the big leagues. Ray Diaz and David Montgomery are pushing 500 tables each. I don't think I'll get there in the next few years, but it'd be cool to see something for those numbers.
