Forgot this: the skellies were worth 600 xp total (divided by 5), and the journal's discovery is another 400 xp. Total of 1000 split five ways.

    We have snow drifts of 2-3 feet at my house. This is a big deal in MD.

    Ha, a couple inches is a lot of snow most winters here in MD. This is uberwinter though. We probably have a base of 12-14 inches.

    they're closing my building at 11:00 (half hour ago). Sux, because I have to either use PTO, or make up th etime later. And I only just started this job, which means by the end of Feb I'll have 16 PTHours, which i wnated to use for a ski trip--and yo ucna't go into negative for planned PTO. So I MUST make up hte 4 hours by next week. Blarg.

    That sucks. I didn't get the call about school getting cancelled until after I was getting dressed for work.

    Schools have been closed here so much this year, they are talking about school on Saturdays.

    I was up dressed, vehicle warmed up snow and ice knocked off of it and leaving my complex when the boss called said he lost power and just woke up. Of course I said ohhh using the "I lost Power excuse on me... shall I get you a wind up alarm clock?" Of course I will pay for that one day when I'm late.

    We then discussed it, and he decided to close for the day.

    I have to work (and have been working) 12 on 12 off 7 days a week for this storm. 8pm to 8am. Phil I don't know how you do it...

    Sorry about my absence. I just got back from Florida. It was quite the adventure. I got engaged (I'm shocked that she didn't see THAT coming.) I also wound up in the hospital on the last day for acute pharyngitis. Not sure what was worse, a sore throat so debilitating that I lost consciousness, or my health care experience in FL. As a government employee I get very good health care... I won't take it for granted going forward.

    Anyway, enough about me. I'm still heavily medicated, but I'll be back to my normal self tomorrow (likely better as I don't have a complex proposal plan to figure out.)

    Can I get a summary of the doll scene thus far to catch me back up to speed.

    Sure. The party found a clearing as they began to descend the ridge, with numerous boulder-sized chunks of ice strewn between them and a small hut on four posts. As they entered the maze of ice, an image of a small Ulfen girl appeared and reappeared about them, uttering cries that were intelligible but evidently out of context, and then a haunt manifested, which scared off Ali and Kappi. Edward and Vojtek were unaffected and continued on to the hut, where they found a small doll sitting on a wooden chair.

    Yeah I am counting the rounds until level 10 when I can fly up to all these blasted 10' off the ground enemies. Grrr...

    Just a rule question for the smart players here. I'm looking at a possible feat combination that I think will be cool.

    Combining the Feat: Improved Snap Shot, and Stand Still.... will that work with arrows at 15' and 10'

    I can see GMs ruling either way. I wouldn't allow it. Maybe at 5'

    I'd allow it for adjacent squares, but not further than that.

    Ali I put a link to each feat there. Improved snap shot allows me to make AoO's out to 15'. I think it will be a cool combination to stop the big bad melee dood from charging up on an archer, or charging past the melee to get to the wizard... ect.

    Snap shot in itself is ok. Improved Snap shot is good for an archer, but even better for a thrown dagger expert... I'm thinkin I can get 1d6+41 at higher levels, and have my daggers get magicked with the Immovable Rod abilities (I would do it with arrows, but the thing says Melee weapons only).......... Your welcome everyone

    OH, I see. Your link actually linked to Snap Shot, and I didn't read the header of the feat and assumed it was Improved. got it.

    Interesting. I've got a dual-wielding dagger fighter in another PBP. I'd planned my feat progression, but this is kinda nice. I'll have to think on this!

    I'm running Port Godless for the Spring Pathfinder Society Game Day. You guys are more than welcomed to play. It's Tier 5-9. you need either a PFS character or appropriate level, or play a pregenerated level 7 character. I have 6 slots, and it's first come, first served.

    FYI: I'm at GaryCon the rest of this week and weekend. (And frankly, spent much of this week getting as caught up on work as possible to let me attend. Huzzah!)

    If any of you guys can make it out to the Midwest next March, I heartily recommend it. Very old-school, right down to the myriad TSR people who attend. :-)
