Vladlena takes aim and carefully casts, blasting the nearest "Varisian" out of existence as her spell follows up Wren's.

Adder steps back, filling the gap with Bronin and making it difficult to get past as he drives his blade home into the count's chest. The creature cries out in pain and lashes back with fangs and claws, ripping into the half-orc. 9 hp, plus DC 23 Will save or take 2 Cha drain; then 19 hp from the claws, 3 Con damage and sickened 2 rounds; DC 21 Fort save negates the Con damage and reduces sickened to 1 round

Meanwhile, two more clamber over the couch to attack Bronin, though he's able to fend off their claws both provoke if Bronin has multiple AoO. Finally, the nearest one reaches for Lena. Her height lets her easily avoid its claws, but not its fangs, which tear at her leg and nearly sever her femoral artery 9 hp; plus DC 23 Will save or 1 Cha drain.

The combat fully joined, Bronin and Whiskeyjack lay about them with their weapons. The former nearly slices apart his foe, chopping huge chunks out of her flesh, but still it keeps its feat and flails at him. He's able to keep her claws off him, but can't avoid her fangs, which leaves him open for the next Varisian's bite too. 28 total hp, plus 4 Cha drain, then 3 Cha drain (each can be negated with a DC 23 Will save; so two total saves)

The count, with Adder directly in front of him, claws furiously, shredding flesh off the half-orc. 31 hp, plus 3 Con damage and sickened 4 rounds; DC 21 Fort save negates the Con damage and reduces sickened to 1 round

Elsewhere, Whiskeyjack, meanwhile, dispatches his foe with one more blow of his hammer and rushes to rejoin his companions only took 1 attack, so I moved you 20 feet closer as a move action. Elena meanwhile focuses her supernatural powers on the two nearest creatures, though one seems to shake it off.

Immediately after, Wren also turns to fire, her igneous snake slithering through the battlefiend and causing your bloody wounds to immediately dry up, leaving many of you caked in dried gore instead. More importantly, the spell immolates several of your foes, leaving only two false Varisians in the fight.

The first seems to catch the wolf thing by surprise -- it clearly didn't expert her to survive -- but it manages to avoid the worst of the second. It has no chance to escape Wren's magic missiles, as Adder chops into the remaining Varisian. Despite a couple of vicious blows, the undead barely stays on its feet and attacks him in turn. Seeing that the others seem to have the last totenmask handled, Whiskeyjack flew around the corner to confront the werewolf. The thing was massive, and the glowing runes etched into its body were more than a little worrisome. Still, the dwarf hunkered down behind his shield and cast a spell. Blindingly bright light filled the corridor with the werewolf thing, along with a sizzling and the smell of burnt hair.

Wren flies out of the cloud, while Vladlena runs into it, only to find she can't see her target! I don't think you have any way to target the wolf-thing, since you were on the far side of the cloud when it moved. It has total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker cannot use sight to locate the target). You don't use up the spell, but could do another standard action if you want.

Behind them, Adder cuts down the last of the false Varisians, as Bronin slashes at the retreating wolf thing. Unfortunately, the smoke's enough to throw off his aim, and it escapes unharmed that's "color"; you technically just missed.

As the group comes stumbling out of the sickening cloud of toxins, Bronin rushes the wolf. It ducks the swordsman's thrust, but at the last moment -- sick from both the poison and the false count's betrayal -- Bronin adjusts and hits the creature in the neck, cutting him down. The cloud rolls away and dissipates moments later, leaving you alone again, with only the horrific undead around you.

A search reveals little of value on the false Varisians, but the wolf thing has several items on him: an elixir of hiding, 2 potions of inflict serious wounds, a scroll of phantasmal revenge, a cloak of resistance +3, a headband of vast intelligence +2 (bonus to Bluff), a pearl of power (3rd), and a ring of protection +3.
