@ GM- in the current combat, I think the Dark Young is supposed to drain Adder with strength damage.
Adder gets a DC 24 Fort save -
Sucking Maws (Su)
A dark young of Shub-Niggurath that successfully pins a creature it is grappling automatically inflicts 1d4 points of Strength drain on that creature. A DC 24 Fortitude save reduces this effect to 1 point of Strength drain.

@ Adder- sorry to hurt your character, but I was wondering why this creature would want to pin you instead of attack us with all it's tentacles. I.E: what the purpose of the pin would be-- and it's the near auto strength damage.

Just had a game successfully conclude Jade Regent (7 years running!) but we decided to start up a 2nd ed game so I'm full up.

Congratulations everyone on completing Chapter Four! Huge accomplishment, particularly for Lena who has been around since the very very beginning.

We're now moving onto Chapter Five of Carrion Crown. As you may know, this AP loves to play monster of the week. We've seen ghosts, a Frankenstein monster, werewolves, and Lovecraftian horror. Next up: vampires.

Please level up your characters and I'll process loot for sale when I have a bit. Ashes at Dawn is coming up next!

Just a reminder. Lena grew up in Caliphas as the indentured servant (slave) of a rich family. She was kicked out when they decided she was a nuisance after her sorcerer powers first started. She was rescued on the streets by a priest of Desna (one Alice), who educated her. She went wandering after that. The prof saved Vladlena from zombies one day. She went her own way for a time but returned when the prof died.
So a few of things
The family lena was the slave of might still be around.
Whoever sent the zombies might be still around.
Lena lived on the streets of Caliphas for a while, so she likely knows her way around the poor areas. Or doesn't. Your choice. But she may be remembered.
Alice, priest of Desna may still be there
This is just a few ideas. Use them as you wish. :)
Also, Lena really does not like undead.

Yeah, Caliphas is roughly equivalent to Korvosa in size.

Loot table is updated. This last dungeon was very scant on loot but I suppose that's this AP in general.

Waiting on Whiskeyjack and Lena to level up before I get going, but the fate of the Face of Dagon/Sausage Effigy needs to be determined and your planned way to get to Caliphas.

Also total value on the loot table is 6673 each IF you sell the Face of Dagon, and nobody keeps the belt of giant strength which seems like an obvious pick for half the group.

I hate to agree with the bird, but yeah Whiskeyjack would be in favor of destroying the face.

As for leveling up, I am without my computer today or I would get it done. Don't let me hold you up. I'll play a level down until I can get my character updated.

Remaining gear is a paltry 1839.67 gold each. Accepting that Whiskeyjack will level up when he can you guys are good to go. I need to know if you're walking, riding, teleporting, sailing, or whatever to get to Caliphas.

Phantom charioting, I would say. Lena casts it (ten minute cast) then away. Fast (100ft/rd), lasts 11 hours, ignores much terrain.
