Depending on how much gold we get at the end of this (and it would have to be a large quantity, I forget what's to be expected at this Tier), I might want to retrain some skill ranks.

Maybe you're referring to something else, but even though they're a conceptual evolution of Smoke Bombs, I don't think the miasma generated by Plague Bombs actually hinders vision. Note the wording.

OMG, I thought it was just my newbness that was making the light rules seem confusing. I'm very glad to hear other find them so. But I'm even gladder (more glad?) that the everburning torch worked! Things were looking pretty dark for a while.

When it comes to darkness, carefully reading the "illuminating darkness" blog post is a must. It is a good reference to come back when in doubt, and covers the most common situations.

I think I'll be OK. But if anyone does still want to donate, that would be fine. I think it might be better to do it semi-anonymously through GM Harker. That way there are no formal posts making other people feel obligated. No one will know if anyone donated at all (except maybe if I show up for the next adventure in a brand new Lamborghini or Tesla!)

Is there already a precedent or process for something like that?

The next scenario will be #04-04 King of Storval Stairs (Tier 7-11)

By campaign seniority, Mel, Quiella, Vailis, and Valik should be able to play that one, while Ophelia should theoretically be coming back for the 5th spot. Valandil expressed preference for the 6th spot. If any of those players aren't interested then Heccan or Zephyrus' player are welcome to continue forward with us. I say Zephyrus' player because a zombie-making alchemist isn't going to work well with a paladin.

I'll contact Ophelia and Valandil once I get the Chronicle sheets out.

Great scenario Hark. Very challenging and well run in my opinion. I have had a blast playing with you folks. If you have a slot for me for the next run, I am in if you will have me. If I don't make the cut, I would just like to say thank you for letting me play in your game. GMing was top notch and I really dug the characters. Everyone played their characters very well and I really enjoyed having Heccan interact with all of them.

Mel, I will place 1000 gp to see you raised. I have seen this done before, in fact the only two times I have seen a character died in the boards.

Heccan, I enjoyed a lot playing with you. You really take a great effort to RP your character and I welcome that a lot!

I agree with Quiella about the oil. Vailis will also take another one so we at least have a couple in the group. This is something I often do, specially with my support characters, but it somehow slipped unnoticed with Vailis :(

I will match that 1000 for Mel. Like Vailis, only second death I've seen in OP and I know it really takes a bit out of one's resources. I know this because I was doing the calculations contemplating Heccan's death early in the scenario.

Quiella can also pitch in a k. One of my characters died once and I had to play a whole level of Emerald Spire with a negative level. It sucked.

The Chronicle sheets have been sent out to the email addresses I have on file for you all, please let me know if there are any issues.

I did not include any of the costs of Mel's Raise Dead or Restoration, I'll just let him add those costs into his tracked resources. Along the same line, I also did not take the 1000 gp promised from Heccan, Vailis, and Quiella, so they will need to subtract that from their resources while Mel should subtract 3000 gp from the cost of either his Raise Dead or Restoration spells.

I plan on starting 4-04 King of Storval Stairs on Monday June 25th. In the meantime, I'll send PM's to Ophelia and Valandil. If they decline or I don't hear from them in a week, Heccan will be back in, followed by Zephyrus if both refuse and Z's player is still interested.
