Valik sees Mel’s arrow topple the first enemy. He watches the second arrow target the next, whom he also focuses on. Valik continues to dispense the advice.

Is it possible to identify the spell used to negate Hec's invisibiity? Would like to know if possible before posting next action.

Heccan recognizes the spell as Invisibility Purge.

Heccan curses in infernal under his breath as his protective spell is easily countered. Following Vanzenti's lead, he takes a step back out of the reach of the attacking giants. He calls upon another protective spell, knowing he is terribly exposed and hopes to be protect himself enough to aid his fellow agents in the battle.

Heccan will take a five foot step to bring himself next to Vanzetti, position accurate on map, which should put him out of the reach of the giants. He will then cast mirror image on himself.

Mirror Image 1d4 plus 3 for caster level: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Vailis casts another Slow spell, this time on the newly arrived giant and the human woman, but both enemies resist its magic.

Meanwhile, his summoned apes continue to pound at the newcomers, with the orange and blue apes successfully removing 4 images of the woman, leaving her with only 2 duplicates. The green ape hits the purple giant with its first slam, but the rest of the attacks directed at that giant miss.

Melufiuos fires an arrow at the white giant that goes through the creature's eye and into its brain, killing it instantly. His second arrow also hits the red giant, but doesn't quite kill it.

Valik, however, takes advantage of the red giant's weakened state and critically strikes it in an artery, knocking it unconscious.

Heccan steps out of the reach of the purple giant and uses a spell to create 6 duplicates of himself.

Forgive me, forgive me, life's been harder than it should be and I just got back from a solo road-trip as of Thanksgiving Day.

Vanzetti, I'm fine with those changes, although to avoid retconning too much, we'll say you did not direct the fireworks against anyone the first round you cast it.

As casting it was a full-round action and firing each pyrotechnic is a move action, I couldn't have anyway. :)

Vanzetti steps out of the purple giant's reach while he decides what to do next. Not sure exactly what Vanzetti would do, since the character has a lot of moving parts and he didn't leave botting instructions. So, I'm going to delay him, but I'll allow the retcon posting of his firework damage for this turn.

At a bare minimum, you're well within reason to assume I spend a move action to launch one of my Dazing fireworks.

Round 3: Call it cringing empathy, professional courtesy, a flashback to his days as a "priest", or a sense for the bizarre drama between celestials, fiends, and mortals that he and Heccan embody, but whatever the case, V suddenly turns to aid aforementioned battered diabolist as he staggers to his side. Let's say I cast infernal healing on Heccan that round; appropriate and non-disruptive.

Round 4:

V looks about in mild surprise at the hubbub that's popped up behind him.

"Let's at least try and end this, shall we...?"

An ethereal crimson dragon makes its way to explode in the tricky mage's face...

Dazing snapdragon fireworks, Sacrificial Boon, Reflex DC 18, vs human mage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 note that snapdragon fireworks are technically an area effect, so unless I'm somehow mistaken, her mirror images won't help her! >:)

...and as if that were not enough, is followed by a cruelly-spiked block of metal the size of the mage herself, with sinister darkwood inlay, falls on her from above like the judgment of some angry god with a sense of humor!

5X5 deadfall, replicating darkwood (+1 CL), Reflex DC 21, also vs human mage: 9d6 + 2 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 6, 4, 1, 1, 5, 1) + 2 = 28 Again, technically an area effect!

Venture Lieutenant, Play by Post (online)

You continue trading spells and blows with the enemies, until eventually the giants and their human sorcerer ally all lie at your feet. You all have the chance to fulfill the extra mission your faction has given you. Soon, Pathfinder reinforcements arrive with a Varisian caravan, and they establish a permanent Pathfinder waystation.
