Quiella is okay. Only 2 Dex damage and that really only hurts her tankiness.
Next level she'll have Lesser Restoration.

I have one restoration and one lesser restoration prepared, and I can burn my pearl of power for another effective lesser. I don't need dex much myself, but if nobody wants a second lesser, I'll take it so I'm not in as much danger of being paralyzed if I take more.
Vailis
|
My opinion:
- Melufiuos is the most dependant on Dex and he has a -5, thus I say to throw the restoration at him.
- Halake is the second most dependant on Dex and IF we get lucky a lesser restoration might take that -4 Dex damage completely.
- Then, Ophelia (-6 Dex) might be the one with the largest benefit to take that pearl of power second lesser restoration.
Vailis will brave it with his 2 Dex.

I would agree to share Ophelia's scroll cost as party expenses.

Ditto on sharing the cost (although it will have to come out of this chronicle sheet cause I was broke (6 gold) after the last one).
I'm OK with what Vailis proposed on who gets the restoration (although it does seem like many of our recent battles have ended with a flurry of arrows from Halkale). Also, I do have Cat's Grace which I can cast at the 'last' encounter to offset any residual dex damage. (that assumes we only have one more encounter).

I'd disagree that Halkale isn't pretty much dependent on Dex, but he does have a much higher pool to draw from though. So I do agree with the order, although I think it might be best to get Mel up and then get one of the heavily damaged to use the much more expensive restoration spell, since the lessor restoration will probably heal most of my damage.
Ophelia Endronil
|
Whoops, you're entirely right, GM; I forgot that lesser restoration is a 2nd-level spell, not a 1st-level one.
So the prepared restoration on Mel; the prepared lesser restoration on Halkale; and the scroll of lesser restoration on myself? Are we good with that?

I am ok to go, just open the door. I was summoning Coco for in case he could help opening the door or finding bits of info.
If we go to combat I will summon something combat-able and the eidolon will instantly vanish anyway.

Damn! That lair is perfectly designed for a fireball, there is no corner where to hide and we are all in the center!

I'm still laughing about GM Harker saying 'Mel just did something weird' ! :)
In other news, water is wet.

I know, right! :)
Seriously though, Mel has probably been one of the most fun characters I've played in a very long time. I'm usually the super serious / brooding wizard type. This impulsive kid is actually a stretch. There have been a number of times I wanted to do something sensible but Mel forced me to type stuff totally against my nature. It's been a trip and I appreciate y'all putting up with me/him. :)

Remember Valik is just slept. A standard action should be enough to shake him off and make him awake once more before he can be coup dê graced.

I'll have chronicle sheets ready either tonight or tomorrow.
The next scenario is 4-16 The Fabric of Reality. Since this will be run as part of Gameday 6, I have a separate thread set up for this scenario. You can find the Gameplay thread here.
Feel free to dot in both Gameplay and Discussion threads at your convenience.

Mel: Yes, you should.
Everyone:
The Chronicle sheets have been sent to your email addresses and the session has been reported.
We'll move over to the new thread while we play The Fabric of Reality before returning here when it's over. See above for the link.
I anticipate starting the new scenario on or around next Monday August 27th.
We're over halfway through with the Campaign, and I just want to say I appreciate your dedication to the game. Thanks for being awesome.

PFS just feels much better when played like this. Thanks a lot Harker for the idea and great effort! :D
I guess Vailis will need much rest in order to recover from the horrible spider venom. He is going to retreat to a farm to recover sanity.
Farmstead (5 PP): You own a fully functional farm located just outside a larger city, such as Absalom, Egorian, Almas, or Oppara. This farmstead includes a sizable farmhouse, a barn, and a plot of land suitable for raising livestock or growing crops. If you own a farmstead, you can use Handle Animal to make Day Job rolls.
He is also going to buy a Wayfinder 250 gp enhanced with Jade ornaments.
Jade (2 PP): Crafted in distant Tian Xia, the jade casing of this wayfinder is decorated with serpentine dragons wound around the Glyph of the Open Road. Instead of light, a jade wayfinder can be used to cast
guidance.
And well, after reviewing chronicles and performing some PFS bookkeeping (this is so hard I needed a holiday day off!) I discovered Vailis has not bought anything since his Cha +2 headband 9 chronicles ago. He has a pile of gold now it seems. I must check what to do with it... something to improve spellcasting I guess...

I may need to think about another utility or combat wand. At this point Quiella can't afford most of the other magic upgrades I have an eye on.
Meanwhile, she'll pick up a pink and green cracked ioun stone to improve Use Magic Device.
EDIT: This ioun stone looks pretty good:
Vibrant Purple Cracked: Stores one spell level, as a ring of spell storing (minor) 2,000 gp
You can keep a spell stored indefinitely, right? Between scenarios, etc.?

It is with a heavy heart, that I need to inform all my games I need to step away from the pathfinder universe. Need to focus on getting a job and some other things. I know this leaves each of you in a lurch but I need to buckle down some things and I just can't put any energy into rp games. I wish much success for all of you.

That's some unfortunate news, Forthepie. You were an original player in the campaign and will be miss. I wish you all the best though and good luck.
As for the next scenario, I'll need to know if the majority of you want to play high or low tier since everyone is level 7 which is right in the middle. I figure I'll recruit someone temporarily to fill in for the Gameday scenario for now before looking at a permanent replacement. This also gives Forthepie time to return before completely filling his spot.
If I'll need to assume which tier to run, I'm going to go with the low tier, but I'd prefer to get player input on that.

Quiella, sorry I missed your question, but yes I believe the spell remains between scenarios. Ordinarily you would need to get a GM to sign off on it on a chronicle sheet, but since this is a campaign with the same GM, that isn't necessary.
Hmm. Seems like a good way to keep both of the useful Paladin spells available... I might go for that.

As for the tier... I'm not sure. Normally I like it when scenarios are more challenging, but the last few have been pretty challenging as it is. I think I'm okay with whatever the party is most comfortable with.

@Forthepie it's a pity to hear you go, but I do understand. I see you have a couple of long standing AP campaigns, I hope you can still keep with those.
About the new scenario
Officially we should play 5-6 without the 4 players adjustment if we are 4 level 7 players, or 8-9 with 4 players adjustment if we are 5 or more level 7 players.
Thus I think if Ophelia is still in, we should go 8-9 with adjustment as if we were 4 players, and I would recruit a 6th player.
If Ophelia is no longer in, she wants to have a rest or keeps not showing up, I would not recruit another player, thus we should go for 5-6 without the 4 players adjustment.

I'm in, I just had some family drama hit. There was a lot of yelling and some cutting remarks, and this is the first I've been able to sit down and focus in three days.
Sorry to see you go, mate :(

Leveling Up:
- new language: read lips (from selecting Linguistics?)
- new spells: ablative barrier, glitter dust
- new arcana: familiar (parot)
- new feat: extra arcana (Empowered Magic)

Mel buys a few more scrolls between adventures.
Scroll of fly 375
Scroll Illusion of Calm 25
Scroll Floating Disk 25
Scroll Unseen Servant 25
Scroll Comprehend Languages 25
Scroll of see invisible 150
They have been added to my item tracking sheet.
He also recharges his rapier with shocking grasp.
Thanks

Hi everyone.
Elven wizard/arcanist here.
Heccan Abraxi
|
Hello all! First off, thank you Harker for giving me the opportunity to play in your game. Really looking forward to it.
Heccan is a Chellaxian human sorcerer, infernal bloodline, with high diplomacy skills and a few other tricks up his. He is haughty, a bit arrogant but charming in his way. Some say he is overly fond of Chellish red wine, but he would counter his devilish heritage makes it difficult to get drunk so he needs more than most.

Wow, how do you get +24 on the knowledge checks? I'm missing out on something good somewhere.
Edit: D'oh, of course, Diplomacy.

Thanks for you joining the game guys, it's good to have you aboard. With the current website problems, I think the regular players are having a hard time posting, but hopefully in the next day or so they'll be able to check in on the Gameplay thread so we can get started in earnest.
