Just to double check, GM, is everything in Ben's list available? Can I add the items to my character's sheet?
GM Euan |
Benedictus, you're all set. Everything is available in one form or another.
Florence Corvina |
Regarding driving duties and watch rotations, Florence isn't especially picky but is happy to take her turn at both like everyone else. I don't really see her volunteering to drive on the first day (she'd much rather sit in the chariot/carriage and hang her head out the window/over the side) but after that she won't mind doing it. For watch...hmm, Flo can take a third watch.

Tonight I’m picking Nidhi’s as it lets the spell casters rest a full 8 hours as I suggested earlier. Feel free to switch it up tomorrow night.
Wait. Are you saying that Zilch *isn't* a spellcaster!?!?
First you choose Nidhi's schedule over Z's, and now you insult his spellcasting!?!
The Great Crocodile is not pleased by this. Not pleased at all. If you try on IZOD shirts tomorrow and there are holes over the left breast...you know why.
Let alone if you find your fancy plastic sandals melted. You'll know why.
GM Euan |
My shoes!!!
Hehehe, My humble apologies. I was thinking of you as a front-liner, not a spell caster when I wrote that. I keep forgetting that there are several good spell casting front line options. This is why you can never leave anything up to the DM - he'll get it wrong every time!
GM Euan |
My parents are visiting starting shortly, so I'll be in-and-out a lot now and over the weekend. Expect slower than usual play for a few days.
Prof. Benedictus Dickens |
Busy schedule over here as well. Visiting friends and a city to show to them before I leave, so my posting rate might be a little slower than usual.

Sixth Synopsis - 14 Sarenith, 4714
Seventh Synopsis - 15 Sarenith, 4714
Moonday, 30 Sarenith, 4714
- The new group meets for breakfast at Purusha’s Inn as the party gets to know each other and prepares for the day.
- They head to the Dark Depository to finish the last of their research, which they accomplish in just a few hours.
- Walking then toward the myriad docks, the party is jumped by assassins!
- Besting the assassins, though one got away again, the group moves on to Wati by hired boat arriving in the afternoon.
- Meeting with Abdur, the group plans its next steps.
Toilday, Erastus 1, 4714
- The party breaks fast at the Tooth and Hookah and continues to plan their next move.
- They have a very pleasant day walking about Wati and getting to know one another better while they await some ensorcelling.
Wealday, Erastus 2, 4714
- Making their way back to Tephu, they enter the Vault of Hidden Wisdom.
- Cleverly finding the trap, Zilchus also finds a dead body… covered in loot.
- Clockwork soldiers slow the party slightly as they head deeper into the library.
- The strange Theletos Aeons are a little more troublesome but still no match for the combined strength of the party.
- Research is conducted as the party learns more about the architect, Chisiek and the three parts of the Pharaoh’s soul.
Oathday, Erastus 3, 4714
- The party returns to the Vault of Hidden Wisdom to continue their research, learning a little more about Chisisek’s tomb, though the details of his internment remain elusive.
- Eventually it becomes clear that there must be more, and a light tap on the ceiling results in a total collapse of the false roof and short battle with the lynxes.
- Studying the true ceiling fresco, the party discovers a lead to Chisiek’s tomb where surely more useful information must lie.
- The debate as to what to do next takes some time to unravel, but in the end, the group decides to head to the desert.
Fireday, Erastus 4, 4714
- The party takes the early ferry to Wait and meets with Abdur.
- A few purchases and crafting and the group heads back to Tephu for the night, so as to leave early the next day.
Starday, Erastus 5, 4714
- The party gets an early start into the desert!
- The days ride is largely uneventful as the group makes speed into the desert.
- That night however, the forces of the Cult of the Forgotten Pharaoh engage the party, and after a pitched battle, find themselves on the loosing end.

Oh great! Sorry guys, I am able to check in only now: I've been traveling back to my home city today, and yesterday we had a problem with a friend who was traveling whose passport was stolen. I'm finally home though, and I will catch up tomorrow. Sorry for the delay, but I've been traveling all day with about one hour of sleep in the last two days...
EDIT: Managed to get a post in, will work on the answer to your post tomorrow Flo, since as you can understand, I do not feel emotionally attuned to our conversation now, as tired as I am :) The same goes for the level up. Thanks for your patience guys!

I bought Pillars of Eternity (first one) and I'm totally hooked. I rolled a priest but I'm thinking I want to restart as a paladin. I recently discovered mage spells hurt party members that are in the line of fire? Poor Eder (lol.) Also, every NPC and their mother seems to be out to kill Aloth which is both hilarious and annoying.
HP: +4
Saves: +1 Fort
Skills: Bluff, Disable Device +2, Diplomacy, Perception, Perform BACKGROUND, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand BACKGROUND
Feat: Rapid Shot (alternative would be Great Fortitude(?) but Nidhi is immune to Fear with her ring)
+1 3rd-level spell: either Cure Serious Wounds or Remove Curse
I think I’ll go with the healing one…?
Florence Corvina |
Nidhi, I meant to reply this earlier and it slipped my mind. I'm glad you're enjoying Pillars of Eternity - it's a ton of fun! I initially rolled as a priest as well in my first playthrough and I need to get back to doing my replay so I can hurry up and jump into the second game. I enjoyed all of the NPCs that I played with the first time but Eder and Aloth were definitely two of my favorites :)
Nidhi Aashirya |
I've enjoyed reading all of the comedy going on in the encounter. The transition from an adventuring party to a traveling troupe/singing quartet (Nidhi, Bynx, Florence, Stelle) in this one encounter is amusing.
Ahh, I'm addicted. I'm glad K told me about it. I re-rolled to a Cipher and I'm doing a lot better. I'm about to be on Act 3.
Also, I'm going to see Deadpool 2 tomorrow! :D I hope it's good.
Oh! I discovered something the other day - if you like web comics. It's called "Cat Loaf Adventures" and it updates every Monday. It's kinda stupid (understatement) but cute and they make a lot of bread puns. (It's listed under the "Slice of Life" genre. You know, instead of "Comedy" or "Adventure." Lol.) Cat Loaf Adventures (link)

No worries Flo, I understand you. The lasr week has been incredibly busy for me as well. Take it easy :)

At PaizoCon, but it shouldn’t affect my posting too much, but you never know.
See this link if you wish to follow around at my (mis)adventures.
If there is anything you want to know or want me to ask of someone, lemme know.
Prof. Benedictus Dickens |
I'm stuck with fever guys. I won't be able to post today. Ben wanted to insist on getting a seer as a temporary guest to study the thriae's divinatiom techniques.
GM Euan |
I hope you feel better soon.
You'll have to role play the seer when you're well. I don't see how you 'insist' on getting a 'voluntary' guest. :)
Prof. Benedictus Dickens |
Still not feeling good guys, I'm sorry. I guess I will just give up Ben's request, there's no way I can possibly read all previous posts in my current conditions :(
GM Euan |
When you come back around, assuming you succeed, you can always bring it up again. :)
Take it easy!
