Whoa! Don’t let your guard down with GM Bold Strider … I like that.
I’ll swap a CLW charge with Raavan to regain consciousness, if that’s OK.
CLW: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 2 = 7
Antonella pushes herself up into a sitting position, holding her head in her hands with her eyes closed. She rambles in a low voice as if still delirious.
“Don’t call her Nutella, Johendar ... She wouldn’t like it ... Though she did tolerate ‘Toni’ on occasion.”
The priestess arches her neck and back while pushing her palms into her kidneys. She takes a moment before rising to her feet.
You’re supposed to be a paladin. How about you act like one?
You hear a *CLANG* and a wand appears in Antonella’s right hand. Without ceremony she moves slowly to Kobad and Basalte, making sure both are fully healed before turning her attention to Wembly.
Kobad CLW: 5d8 + 5 ⇒ (1, 1, 1, 1, 1) + 5 = 10 + Kobad CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Basalte CLW: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (8, 7, 3, 6) + 4 = 28
With an amused smile she does Groucho Marx ‘eyebrow fingers’ on her own brow before seeing to the gnome’s wounds. “Don’t sweat the little things, brother. Will Whiskers come back again if you call him today?”
Wembly CLW: 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (8, 7, 1) + 3 = 19 + Wembly CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Only then will she heal herself.
CLW: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 5) + 2 = 14
As she watches Johendar’s tumble, the priestess smiles at the skald as she pulls a length of knotted rope out of her backpack. She ties one end securely to a solid object in the shop, before casting the other end down the ladderway to assist the party’s descent. “Seems we should be ready for anything, at any time, Raavan. Oh, and assuming you were one of the ones that saved us – my thanks.”
She calls down to the freebooter. “Have you finished clowning around now, Joh? Did you find anything interesting?”

" Thank you for healing me. I need to get one of those wands. In my haste to get to this mission I forgot to ask if there was an extra one at the lodge. "

| Antonella Schiavo |
When you think you’ve hit rock bottom … look down! ;)
“Occasionally pleasure coincides with duty, Master Wembly.”
The priestess bows again, briefly holding up the wand before returning it too its sheath and tensioning the spring. “A mere tool that I am happy to share. I have more faith in courage and brotherhood as a currency than anything devised by Mammon.”
While her time in the seminary almost eliminated Antonella’s tendency to frown, the side of her mouth still turns down when she is uncertain. “I feel we’re being led down a path, rather than finding it ourselves. A path that includes snares or another ambush. Does anyone else feel it too?”
“Osprey implied time was of the essence. However, I’m wondering if there is anything we can do to mitigate what …” Antonella searches for the right word. “Fate has in store for us as we search the docks for the Hydra’s Fang.”

"Our best defense would be to arrange ourselves a little better for what might come. I will stay up with Johendar. No more rushing ahead until we know for certain what we face." Raavan employs Antonella's rope to climb down and join Johendar. He then unfurls his flagstaff, revealing a banner bearing the symbol of the open road upon it. The way he stands with it held proudly offers courage and hope to all those who see it.
Benefit: As long as you hold your clan, house, or party’s flag, members of that allegiance within 30 feet who can see the flag (including yourself ) gain a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saving throws against fear and charm effects. You must hold the flag in one hand in order to grant this bonus. If the standard is taken by the enemy or destroyed, this bonus becomes a penalty, affecting all creatures that the bonus previously affected for 1 hour (or until you reclaim the lost flag).

The gnome summons a celestial eagle to his arm. He calls upon some racial magic and tells the eagle to fly down the hole and see if any people are down there.
Sum mon I and speak with animals. Will summon Whiskers once party goes to the bottom, but that takes 1 min. Will leave up to GM what the bird does with that command.

| Antonella Schiavo |
"Set-backs are to be expected on this path, Good Raavan. But you know, the ‘next person up’ response in that confined space did come through. Nonetheless, your point about rushing in is a fair one."
... and one that I have heard before.
Antonella nods. “Irori teaches us not to overthink these things.” Yes I really said that, Aarvid! “The docks are likely narrow and I agree it best that Basalte lead us. Perhaps Whiskers or I should go next? We appear to have comparable combat ability, though I would not like Wemby to be so close to the front. Johendar makes an ideal ‘change-up’ meleer – should one of the front rank fall AND I will make room for him if the space allows.”
Antonella is temporarily taken aback by the appearance of the eagle. “Could you use the eagle for reconnaissance on the ships berthed in this dock, Wembly? Find out which one is the Hydra’s Fang and what her crew have ready for us?”

            The gnome nods at Antonella.
"I can try, but communicating complex commands is difficult. I am not sure how well the eagle can convey what it sees. I will try it down the ladder first, and then above the ships. I can only keep it here for a couple minutes at most. "

From the map linked above it seems the hole in the floor leads to a room on the docks below. Johendar and Raavan are already down there and I'm guessing we'll need to open the door to see anything beyond the room.
"Pharasma says that life is often terrible." Raavan says to Antonella just before climbing down the rope. "And then you die."
Once below Raavan looks around the room and examines the door carefully. "Did that sorceress come this way?" He asks Johendar.

"Thanks for healing me Antonella, even if you don't believe I am lucky." he says to the paladin, smiling.
Did you use your wand or mine? Also, Kobad will return his wand to its sheathe, and the wand that he borrowed ot its owner. He will then use his wand of mage armor on himself once they are down the hole.

"Thanks for healing me Antonella, even if you don't believe I am lucky."
Without conscious thought, Antonella's hand moves to cover her wounded abdomen as she surveys the carnage inside the small shop.
Well we are still alive ...
With a carefully neutral expression she replies "Flexibility is a virtue in an ever-changing world, Kobad. I'm prepared to reconsider my position."
Did you use your wand or mine?

A forest of pylons suspends the docks above where the scurrying feet of merchants, sailors, and longshoremen hammer like a muffled thunderstorm. Between the pylons, you spot small stone bunkers, ruins of older siege forts now crumbling and weathered from centuries of angry waves. A narrow set of docks traverses the rocks, connecting various locations. Eventually, all lead out to the shallow bay at the mouth of the maze. Nearby, you notice a fresh trail of muck-limned, wet footprints.
In their rush, Du Moire and his men carelessly left tracks leading to a small bunker with its own short dock. A quick look notices the nearby dock and two rowboats. A pair of Consortium officials and their pet sea cat cub guard the boats.

As the party progresses along the dock, the cleric’s eyes bulge and her jaw drops as she takes in the scene. “Well gollee, Joh! Take a gander at yon kitty. Have yer evar seen anythink like it t’for?”
“Whiskers!” The priestess calls loudly over her shoulder. “It might be kin-folk t’yer! You clean your plate every night and you could turn out just like that.”

The guard who was feeding the sea cat, stands up and walks over to Antonella. What is your business down here? You don't appear to be Consortium members. This is a private Consortium dock for Consortium business only.

Oi, boss! This'n back here has it. The guard reaches down and deftly puts the bag in his pocket while pulling out a wooden box. Th' stone guy here must'a nearly s$$$ 'is pants when he h'rd the Watch was comin'. Drop'd it right on tha' dock, he did. The guard pulls an object from the box and waves a wooden and brass coin about the diameter of an apple and inscribed with the insignia of the Kortos Consortium at the guard with the clipboard. Also sa's here that they's at dock #14 on the nor'west side of the harbor. The man hands the coin back to Basalte.
Alright, then. Next time show that first before making a scene about some murderers. The man lets the group pass to the rowboats and hands the last person two sets of oars. Make sure to bring these back in one piece.
The coin serves as a harbormaster’s pass, an extremely valuable item that allows PCs to freely exit the maze without question.
----------------------------------------------------------
Exiting the Underdocks crammed into the roawboat, you enter the Shallows, a wide rocky bay only a few feet deep and closed off by immense seawalls that funnel all traffic into the maze. Strung between them, a host of steep maze walls crusted with seaweed, barnacles, and small shellfish create narrow passages just wide enough for rowboats or rafts. Lashed along the sides are free-floating docks which allow longshoremen to help pull boats through or to the side for quick inspections. Every so often, a series of rusted spikes forms a crude ladder leading to the upper maze, where guards keep watch amidst strange shadows cast by weathered devices such as giant winches and claw-like crane arms. Water splashes softly throughout, creating an eerie echo, and the entire structure groans with ominous creaks and strains as if you were traveling through the belly of a great beast. Thankfully, navigating out of the maze is far easier than navigating in, and the ever-watchful eyes of Enforcers on the walls fall almost entirely on the cargos of incoming merchants.
As you draw closer to the end, the sounds of angry waves slam against the outer walls and echo like hordes of chanting goblins. As you reach the outer locks, a grizzled longshoreman calls down to you from above, telling you to hold tight. The first gate opens with a lazy moan, and he ushers you to move your craft into the small chamber ahead. Once inside, he lowers the gate behind you, then he bids you good luck as he slowly cranks apart the front doors to the open harbor where dozens of galleons and merchant ships bounce softly on their moorings in the water.

Cool, GM BS. Let’s try this ...
As the party traverses the Narrows, Antonella will make time to dot ‘t’s and cross ‘i’s with the stone warrior.
“So you did manage to sort out all that paperwork for the Consortium guard, Basalte?”
Quite innocently she adds, “Knowing the world as I do, I expect there was some nominal licensing fee involved, to help maintain Diobel’s dockside facilities. Make sure Osprey remembers to deduct my share next pay day, won’t you my friend?”

Basalte pockets the pass and gives a nod at Antonella. Minutes later when they are alone in the rowboat, he says "Sometimes a little money can save lives, be it theirs or ours I do not know. Too much blood has fed the sea today. We'll share the price of saving lives when we are paid, if everyone agrees."
When the creature flips the boat, Basalte immediately retrieves and drinks his potion of touch of the sea, lest he should sink like a lump of stone.

Why did the Hold of Belkzen have to be so far from water?
Raavan flounders in the water, managing to pull himself to the surface and grab an overturned boat.
We can make 2 attempts with 2 separate movement actions, correct?

Despite his time spent abroad on the sea, Kobad cannot swim very well. His eyes widen as he hits the water, and it is all he can do to not panic.
Swim: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6
Swim: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
At first Kobad begins to sink, but with a surge of strength he re-emerges from beneath the waves. "Waldo! This is not going well!"
Waldo swim checks
Swim: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (12) - 2 = 10
Swim: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11
Waldo struggles just as much as Kobad to stay afloat.

Kobad, Johendar put touch of the sea on you. Since you can take 10 with it your check becomes 16 at minimum with your penalties.
Touch of the Sea: You cause webs to grow between the target's fingers and its feet to transform into flippers, granting a swim speed of 30 feet along with the standard +8 bonus on Swim checks and the ability to take 10 even if distracted or endangered. You can also use the run action while swimming, provided you swim in a straight line. This transformation causes any boots or gloves the target is wearing to meld into its form (although magic items with a continuous effect continue to function). This spell does not grant the target any ability to breathe water.

Swim checks are made once per round not once per move action and are made at the beginning of your turn, thus:
1) Raavan would start sinking and end up underwater. He can utilize his move and standard actions to do anything but move. Holding your breath lasts for twice your Constitution score. If you perform a standard action in a round, then you spend two rounds of breath.
2) Antonella would start sinking before she is able to administer a potion sponge to Wembly who is also drowning. Because you are effectively drowning, I'm going to say that you can't "administer the potion to Wembly", but you can spend your standard action to give Wembly the potion sponge for him to use on his turn.

To use a potion sponge requires a full-round action, so you wouldn't be able to dismiss Whiskers if you use the sponge. Additionally, drawing two air crystals will take two move actions as it is only one item per move action.
Additionally, I was going over underwater combat rules. If you fail a Swim check, then you lose your Dexterity to AC and opponents get a +2 to hit you.
