Ugh, typed a bunch of stuff up and it all disappeared... Ill just summarize.

Three Lacedons destroyed before you retreat.

Eagle dies to Lacedon attacks.

Several Lacedons fall.

One Lacedon moves up the stairs and bites Raavan.

Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Need two Fortitude saves. Second one is a disease.

Lacedons #1/2/3/6 - 3 damage
Lacedon #4 - 6 damage
Lacedons #5/7/8 - Dusted

Initiative:
1st: Kobad; Johendar; Raavan
2nd: Undead
3rd: Basalte; Antonella; Wembly

The map is a little confusing. Since we all backed up a step isn't Raavan behind Basalte and Johendar?

Silver Crusade

A bite attack on front-line Basalte will miss. Just saying ... ♪♫ **whistles innocently** ♪♫

Maybe it's because you’re the GM’s favorite, Raavan? :D :) ;)

Antonella 5’ steps if necessary and lashes out at the lacedon that attacked Raavan.

Improved Unarmed Strike: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

TBH, I just figured you all were surrounding the doorway ready to strike down the undead as they came through. Since, Johendar and Basalte finished off the front line, they are able to move without retribution. Assumed you would all retreat to the top deck, ready to destroy them one at a time.

Updated map to my envisioning. I'm going into story combat, more than map combat at this point. There is no possible way you can lose this fight...

Edit: Also, it's because you are my favorite Raavan. ;)

Pretty sure you can one-shot any of them.

Basalte strikes down the one who hit Raavan! The rest of the party holds! Another ghoul comes out and strikes out at Antonella.

As the lacedon penetrates her defenses, Antonella feels her muscles seize, before suddenly relaxing as she feels the soothing spirit of fellowship amongst the Pathfinders wash over her.

"I'm happy to take one for the team."

Best check that wound once this is over.

Rage Song gives a +2 to Str and Con and a -1 to AC. It stacks with everything but other rage bonuses.

Of course. I was thinking banner. Editing my rolls.

This scenario has effectively nullified Raavan's banner. Every fight has required at least one hand free. He didn't have time to even ready it in the first ambush, and I couldn't justify it during the sahuagin aquatic fight, and I'm assuming I left it on the rowboat in order to climb to the ship.

Alright, let's wrap this up.

Johendar, Wembly and the gang handle the rest of the Lacedons with relative ease. The only issue being Antonella's festering wound.

As the group explores the rest of the ship, they find a hole punch in the hull in the barred room where the undead likely spawned. They appear to be slaves who perished from drowning in the breach. Looks like they got their revenge as you examine Du Moire's body (or what's left of it).

A thorough search of the ship shows the Azlanti tablets in a smuggler's container under Du Moire's cabin's floorboards.

Intelligence checks: 6d20 ⇒ (6, 10, 14, 17, 6, 13) = 66

Johendar and Kobad think that it would be smart (see what I did there) to bring back Du Moire's body as proof of his demise to the Andoran leaders.

Can anyone heal Antonella? If not, take an antiplague and make your second save, DC 15. (+5 to the save).

Fin!

"Yahoo! I knew we could do it. Ok first I thought we would all drown, but when we didn't I knew we would prevail . ". Wembly is grinning from ear to ear.

"But Antonella, you do not look so good. Green is definitely not a color that works for you...at least not for a complexion. For a Whiskers, yes but not humans. I can help get you to a temple. Are you feeling ok? . "

Basalte proudly brings back the figurehead, as well as Du Moire's severed head as proof of his early demise. "That should cover it. I hope they let me keep the figurehead, I've always liked pretty ladies made of strange materials. It's not stone, but that'll do I suppose. Antonella, are you alright? You look a little pale."

Thanks for running this one! I thought we were goners on more than one occasion. Funnily enough, season 0 scenarios have the general reputation of being easy, but I believe that's an exception to the rule.

To Scale the Dragon is brutal as well. (Oddly enough another one of my first three I picked at random). Lost two players, but they turned out alright.

Raavan silently fumes as the group returns with the tablets and Du Moire's remains. His death, while an appropriate twist of fate, was not quite satisfying for Raavan. After all the trouble they had gone through to get to the treacherous pirate, the half-orc really wanted to be the one to bite his throat out. He had to constantly remind himself of his faith in Pharasma, his membership in the Society, and his loyalty to the Grand Lodge that had taken him in after the banishment.

At Wembly's words, Raavan looks to Antonella. "You would look good in green. But then we would have to kill you. I have no means to aid you, other than the offer of funds for antiplague or clerical healing."

Thanks Strider! Another close one for the storybooks.

Silver Crusade

Antonella nods at the skald. “Indeed, I don’t need to tell you it’s not easy being green, Raavan.”

She bows with her hands clasped. “Thank-you for your compliments and concern, my brothers. I will attempt to fight these inner demons myself initially. But should I need any assistance, I know I can count on you all.”

“Despite the hardships we faced (perhaps they have made us stronger?), I have enjoyed working with you all and hope to do so again. Be it in my current guise or another.”

Antonella suspects some impurity has entered the vessel that represents her current existence and prays to Irori for swift healing in order to continue His work.

She also drinks her antiplague before preparing to fight the ghoul fever.

Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

If infected, antiplague let's you make two rolls and take the best I believe, GM Bold Strider.

I'll post a link HERE and pay for a second dose of antiplague (that Antonella would have purchased on Day 2) - just to be sure.

Thanks for running, GM Bold strider!
