Celebeth is nearly killed in a swift pair of strokes and almost drops her sword as she starts trembling and appears about to go into a seizure.
Among other bad things, the Dex damage worsens Celebeth's AC by 1.

Caught off-guard by the sudden attack, Rhiannon moves to flank the new surprise assailant with Celebeth, Rhannon attacks, swinging her axe viciously at the enemy.

Rhiannon and Kalaman significantly damage the assassin vine while Garethane's cut hisses as the cold iron damages the bark-skinned elf.

Azen's morning star finds its mark, as the cold iron sizzles against the body of the fey creature.
Being assaulted by multiple cold iron weapons, the creature slinks back along the wall, positioning himself to attack Garethane, whose strike badly wounded him, with a pair of claws. Fortunately for Garethane only one of those claws finds its mark.

"I don't think I could fit through there, even in a corset," quips Celebeth. "Now what?"

Azen |

So unsatisfying when you can't actually take them down. We go outside to run after it, it will either be too quick, or just squeeze inside another little hole.
I'm tempted to stick my hands in that slot and shoot some fire after it, but it probably wouldn't do much good. Are you okay?

"The shakes are getting worse. I don't know how much this is going to go on."
What's the duration on the poison, GM?

Azen |

Well, sit down, over here
Azen clears a spot with prestidigitation.
Someone get Tove. Maybe there is something she can do.

Celebeth Quinciel |

Celebeth sits down and tries to sheathe her thornblade. After four failed attempts to get the tip into the scabbard she just unbuckles her sword-hanger and hands it and the blade to her sister with a sad look.

Azen |

Azen sheathes the blade for her.
It's going to be okay. I'm sure this is just temporary.
She doesn't know anything of the sort, but what else was there to say? Celebeth *had* to be okay.
Hey, did I tell you about the time that my students put the mayor's goat on top of his house? It's a good story...
She proceeds to tell the story, trying to cheer up her sister and get her to laugh.
Let's say that Celebeth is near the wall just south of me now.

"If things keep going like this I'm liable to want to burn the whole place down." Rhiannon grumbles, as she watches another enemy escape. They would have to take extra care keeping watch tonight, with multiple enemies lurking in an area they knew better.
As Azen keeps Celebeth distracted, she goes over to Tove, bringing her over to see what she can do about the poison affecting the half elf.

"I hope Tove has something for this."

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

Tove says regretfully, "Unfortunately, I have not prepared the spell that I would require to remedy the damage done by the poison today. The best I can do is prepare it tomorrow, sorry."
So unsatisfying when you can't actually take them down. We go outside to run after it, it will either be too quick, or just squeeze inside another little hole.
The creature isn't nearly as fast as the quickling, particularly when climbing. With a coordinated effort, you all could still take it down. If not, you'll have another opportunity later depending on your course of action.

Azen |

Well, maybe we should go for it and take it down then... I don't want to have to meet it again.
I'll stay here in case it comes back in, but if you guys want to circle around and try to kill it before it climbs down, please do. We don't want to run into that thing again.

Celebeth Quinciel |

"Got anything for the pain, doc?" Celebeth wisecracks to Tove.
Does Tove have a healing wand? Would love to have a few more hit points before going looking for more trouble!

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

As it turns out she does have a wand of CLW. Don't forget the 8 from the channel above.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Celebeth Quinciel |

"Thanks. Let's see if we can find and finish off one of these enemies!" Celebeth stands with Azen's help, takes her baldric back and clasps it back around her waist, and adds, "I think I can at least manage a few spells."

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

So how do you all want to go about this? Three rounds have passed since you last saw the creature.

Garethane Seregon |

Man, I missed an exciting day! Please check my math on the movement.
The hunter would switch his feral focus to that of the stag (Speed adjusted to 45, HP down to 28 from 33), pick up his bow (1 round) head down to the break in the wall to west wall and getting past the rubble there (2 rounds) that would allow him to head north and just get close enough to get off a single shot. (round 3).
+1 Compound Longbow, Cold Iron Arrow: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 241d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

Okay, if we are going pursue the creature, as described above, we'll have to go round by round because it's not just gonna hang out and wait for you. Anyone besides Garethane pursuing immediately?

Rhiannon Wyngarde |

Well during the 1st couple rounds I would have been getting Tove to heal Celebeth, so Garethane might be on his own.

Azen |

Once Celebeth is okay, then I think we can all participate, but until then, I think we can only help if it comes back inside, or if there is a shot from one of the arrow-slots.

Celebeth Quinciel |

Tove's tied up healing Celebeth with the wand, but nothing stops the rest of the crew from chasing it down once Garethane spots it—if he is able to catch up to it!

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

Backtracking a bit here...
Round 0/3
Rhiannon retrieves Tove to see to Celebeth's wounds.
Round 1
Tove begins tending to Celebeth's wounds with her wand while Garethane and Kalaman exit the tower in search of the creature.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
Perception, Garethane: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34
Perception, Kalaman: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
As the pair are moving, Garethane catches a glimpse of the creature on the northern wall of the keep, and quickly takes a shot using your roll above with his bow wounding the creature further. Kalaman did not pass the perception check, so addtional actions this round.
Round 2
Tove continues to tend to Celebeth's wounds. While outside, the creature, knowing it has been seen due to the arrow sticking out of its side, hops down off of the wall and makes a mad dash into the central spire in the middle of the vine choked courtyard.
Garethane, I assume you'd like to revise your round 2 action. Kalaman, Rhiannon, and Azen may post their actions as well. The creature used the northern opening into the central spire. The map is up to date. Please consult the map as you post your actions.

Reminder since it's been a while, the inner courtyard is difficult terrain due to the thick vines and undergrowth unless you have some way of countering it. Azen, I've moved you back accordingly.

Garethane Seregon |

Retconned Round 2. 45' to the ENE and if I sees, I shoots. If not, ready for when it breaks cover.
Garethane follows the creature to the east, his fleet feet eating the distance as he comes around the corner of the northern entrance to the spire, arrow knocked.

Kalaman and Rhiannon may post their actions

Kalaman Mar |

Kalaman will enter into the tower the opposite direction as garethane, planning to cut off any planned egress routes,

Rhiannon Wyngarde |

Slinging her axe across her back, and keeping her warhammer in hand, Rhiannon joins Azen in heading after the creature, making her way through the heavy undergrowth.

DM Talomyr - Kingmaker |

Round 3
Garethane, Perception DC ??: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (15) + 14 = 29
The creature continues to flee up the stairwell. As he disappears to the floor above, Garethane notices the creature deliberately touch a particular stone in the wall near the top of the stairwell.
Meanwhile back in the northwest tower, Tove continues to tend to Celebeth's wounds. "We probably ought to follow them." she says to the half-elven woman.
Tove and Celebeth are covered for the round. I'll take round 3 actions from everyone else.
