Sorry for lagging behind, I've been busy with start-of-school stuff. >_<
Qetsiyah will continue down the fighter's path and we like to roll our HP's as well.
HP Roll: 1d10 ⇒ 10 Ha! Dice gods are on our side! ^_^
Gains +1 to BAB for a total of +5
Weapon Training : Heavy Blades
FCB: +1 HP
Feat: Iron Will (+2 bonus on all Will saving throws) Was eyeing something sexier like cleave or mobility, but I'd better be practical and shore up her weak save.
Skills: 4 ranks (+1 to each of the following)
Handle Animal
Intimidate
Perception
Survival
Fighters are so much faster to level!

FYI - I have folded two game threads and ended two other PFS scenarios I was running. My intent is to consolidate games and be abel to focus wiht more quality on the remaining. Since this is one of the originals, it is staying. Just means there should be more frequent and consistent posting. Thanks for bearing with me.

I second what Cadas said--thanks for keeping us around, Doc Evil, and let us know if there's anything we can help with! :)
Marcellano Gallenica |
On a different note...the Curse of the Crimson Throne game I run on these boards is seeking a couple of new players, if anyone's interested. Details (and a link to the game itself) are here. :)

Just wanted to post to let you all know I'm back. My laptop and router conspired to leave this world together and abandon me at the worst time. Christmas was fast approaching at the time and we could not afford to replace everything until now. Thanks so much for frog-marching Kizzy along. I will pick her back up as soon as she has an action again.
Missed gaming with you all!

I am traveling starting tomorrow morning for the next 8 days - Ski Trip. Please bot me if you need to to keep things running. I will check in as time and internet are available.

Folks
After a change in circumstance, I find myself without the requisite time to dedicate to GMing on the boards. I therefore must respectfully withdraw myself from the game, which will most likely fold the thread. I apologize for starting something I can't finish, but I didn't expect this situation to change as it has. The change is good thing for my family and career, but unfortunately it means I have to end doing something I love.
I enjoyed our time together. Thanks for your work to make it more fun, and I wish you all the best in your gaming lives.
Cadas |
I feared this was coming when the game pace slowed after you dropped soem of your games. I am sorry to see this game (and all your games) end. You are a talented DM and I have had a great time in your game over the last 2.5+ years. Are you staying in Nashville or does this opportunity require you to move?
I was very curious to see if our party could ramp up and handle the increased challenge level that RotRL brings after this book. Now the world will never know. I also was looking forward to having a high AC and a Phylactery of negative channeling and trying to mow down hordes of mooks with negative channels. :) Alas that will never happen now.
Good gaming with everyone. I hope to see you all on the boards or in games. And if someone wanted to step up and pick this one up I would certainly continue but know how hard that is to make happen.
Marcellano Gallenica |
Let me add my thanks to Cadas's, DocEvil. It was wonderfully generous of you to invite me to join this game when my previous RotRL folded, and I've had a blast gaming under you.
Similar to Cadas, I'd been looking forward to seeing the rest of the story...do you guys want to try to find a replacement GM? Such a thing is hard but, for a full party with good posting records, not impossible.
Robin the Jester |
Oh no! Sorry to see you go, Dr. Evil, but it's been a great run! I really appreciate you sticking with it so long, and I'm happy we made quite a bit of progress. Real life comes first.
If we do find another GM, I'm game.

Sorry to hear this as well. But I've been in the position before myself and likely will again someday. Thanks for the game DoctorEvil and good luck with these positive changes and the requisite workload. Happy Gaming!
I'd also be happy to continue if we find another GM.
Marcellano Gallenica |
Ok, it sounds like we're all interested in continuing! I don't have time to set up a recruitment post tonight, but tomorrow or Tuesday I'll put something out looking for a new GM. If anyone has recommendations (people they've gamed with on PbP before), that'd be great too!
Marcellano Gallenica |
I created a recruitment thread. If anyone does find a volunteer, feel free to direct them there or just bring them to the group here!
DM Mathpro |
Hey guys hope you don't mind me posting here. Just making sure your all okay with me taking over. As I said in the recruitment tread I am on from 10-4 every day and spam refresh on the site as often as I can during that window. That said I know people have real jobs that don't allow for that freedom so you are free to post when ever and I'll tie everything together as neatly as I can when I'm on. Feel free to check out this alias and read through any of my games. If you have any questions let me know and I look forward to playing with all of you.
Cadas |
Thinking it through I realize its the same AP Mathpro is running for me. This one is just a couple books behind. :) The feel from the two games, based on where we are in the AP is so different its hard to see them as the same game, especially since I just jumped into the other game at level 11. Since I have played the entire AP through in a home game there is no new spoiler issue for me.
I am ready to do. I will mention that Doc Evil, while a great DM ran a pretty lean game, gold wise. You might want to look at where we are from a Wealth By Level point of view and see if that is where you want us as. And while we are a good group of interesting characters I am not sure anyone would say we are overpowered in any way. I sometimes wonder how this group will handle the significant challenges that I know are coming in later books.
Marcellano Gallenica |
I'm with Cadas; I'm excited to see where the AP is going with these characters, and I'm completely down to try it with you as our GM, Mathpro. :)
DM Mathpro |
Excellent then I will skim through the last few pages of the gameplay thread just so I can get something started today and I'll do a more detailed read today/tomorrow.
As far as characters go I'll check your wealth by level and see where you line up. If I remember right this ap runs kind of lean early on anyway but there are significant challenges coming up that you guys need to be preped for.
Marcellano Gallenica |
Have fun! Just waiting to see if Robin makes it out of that scarf...I'm assuming he will, given those roles. :P
DM Mathpro |
sorry for my absence again...Kids...can't live with them can't keep them from choking kids out at school...and then my oldest(18 years old) wants to move into an apartment with his ex who's 16 and keeps dating all his friends...and can't understand WHY this is a bad idea.
Anyway I've posted in the gameplay thread.
Marcellano Gallenica |
Mathpro, you may be best just setting up your own map...you won't be able to edit the Campaign tab until customer service switches the thread over, but Dr. Evil's maps were hosted on Google Drawings, so even the thread won't give you access to them.
DM Mathpro |
Hey guys just a heads up I have family in from out of town and tomorrow is a designated family day so I won't be posting at all. They've been here a week tomorrow so Saturday and Sunday will be spent saying goodbyes and then recuperating from their visit. What is it about spending time with ones mother in law that is so stressful lol.
