Meyanda channels twice - healing anyone injured.

Is the door made of metal or is it something we can force our way through?

"Do we have any of those card thingys? It might open this door"

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

39 of 53 hp.

"Thank you, Meyanda," Razorend says then walks with her to rejoin the others.

Razorend guards the stairs while they check the door.

This door is like all the others in the building, obviously of unique construction but not made of Androffan technology, just some bizarre dream of Furkas', apparently.

Thus, there is no swipe access panel.

Door Features:
Doors are shaped like elongated rectangles with rounded edges—each is an airtight iron hatch opened by turning a entral wheel present on both sides of the door for the most part. Opening such a door is a full-round action. A door without a wheel can be opened only by force.

M Human (Kellid) Blight Druid, S16, D10, C14, I10, W19, CH10, HP59, AC17, Init 1, Perception +14 Level 7 Druid

Ridic will then turn the wheel and open it.

It is still locked.

Stymied by a locked door? Any other ways to open it or do you want to head up the stairs?

Male Fetchling Slayer 7/ Red Mantis 5

[ooc]We can try to force it open, see it is just stuck.[/00c]

Ridic will look to the others "A little help over here guys"

Strength
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

The wheel doesn't budge as Ridic tries pathetically.

Male Dwarf Gunslinger 5/fighter 1 HP 68 : AC 22 / T14 / FF18: Fort 8 / Ref 7 / Will 3 : Init +5; Senses darkvision 60 ft.; Perception +11 (+13 to notice unusual stonework, +13 on checks related to metals, jewels, and gemstones)

Oskar tries to muscle the wheel as well.

Strength: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Nevermind...

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Its locked, not stuck, right? Can anyone pick the lock?

Urgeon will attempt to pick the lock.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27

So I missed some super important stuff, here

There is no obvious keyhole or anything to potentially disable, but before Urgeon or Oskar get a chance, Ridic is blasted with electricity as a magical trap goes off. It surges out to electrocute him.

Electrical Damage: 12d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 1, 1, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 4) = 53; (That's a lot of 6s)

Oskar still wanna grab the door? I'll let you reroll your strength check ... snicker

M Human (Kellid) Blight Druid, S16, D10, C14, I10, W19, CH10, HP59, AC17, Init 1, Perception +14 Level 7 Druid

Holy crap

Ridic flies across the room and lands, and is able to get to one knee, but that is all he can manage

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Razorend moves to help Ridic up, waving Meyanda over to administer aid.

"I hate this place," he gripes.

Male Dwarf Gunslinger 5/fighter 1 HP 68 : AC 22 / T14 / FF18: Fort 8 / Ref 7 / Will 3 : Init +5; Senses darkvision 60 ft.; Perception +11 (+13 to notice unusual stonework, +13 on checks related to metals, jewels, and gemstones)

Oskar says "Aye, any ideas on how to get past this door?"

He peers around and looks for any clues.

"Come here, you old fool."

Meyanda heals some of Ridic's more grevious wounds, but she is running low on spell power.

Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 5 ⇒ (2, 4) + 5 = 11

With some searching and aid from detect magic ... without touching the door ... Urgeon and Oskar are able to determine that there is nothing mechanical holding the door in place, but the door does radiate minor abjuration magic.

M Human (Kellid) Blight Druid, S16, D10, C14, I10, W19, CH10, HP59, AC17, Init 1, Perception +14 Level 7 Druid

Urgeon nods, "I have no way of dispelling the magic."

He follows the others up the stairs.

Ridic leads the party upstairs. This open space spans the diameter of the tower and, in the southern portion of the room, opens to a room above. The air is stifling due to the operation of three massive forges that burn and vent into the cluster of exposed pipes running through the center of the tower. A tangle of conduits from the southeast cuts through the room to join this cluster, forming a wall of pipes and thick wires.

To the west, three squat, well-built brass-colored skin humanoids with heads of raging fire toil away at the forges. Standing near them are two robotic humanoids that look exactly like the ones you fought on the first floor.

The two robots turn as you enter, raising their sparking warhammers and shields. One of them spurts out in its static-ridden tinny voice.

Androffan:
"Slaves. Cease your duties. Repel the invaders. Repeat. Repel the invaders."

The three fiery humanoids slouch defeatedly and pick up forge hammers. turning to face you.

Urgeon will cast create pit under one of the war hammer robots, and adjacent to a slave (DC 18 reflex).

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Didn't you just say not to attack the slaves?

Razorend runs up the stairs then steps sideways, teleporting the remaining distance to the southern robot. Switching to his adamantine kukri, he attacks.

Forged in Defeat Round 1

Urgeon, Oskar, Robots, Firemen, Ridic, Razorend

Urgeon creates a hole in the ground that the slow moving dwarf-like humanoid moves away from some how. The robot doesnt move at all and falls straight down. (Damage?)

Fireman Reflex: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 1 + 2 = 19
Robot Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Oskar fires through the pipes which provide a bit of cover knocking clear a bullet. The second gets through and does a bit of denting, but the bullet doesn't do full damage given the HARDNESS of the robot's outer layer.

The southern robot moves forward, firing a ray from its eye at Ridic striking the druid with a weird mild shocking sensation.

To hit Touch: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12; HIT!; Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8 non lethal

The hammer bearing humanoids move slowly through the forge fire and then stand firm in their posture with their weapons raised and ready.

[ooc]Ridic and then Razorend (who rolled an attack but not intiatitve)[/ooc[

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

M Human (Kellid) Blight Druid, S16, D10, C14, I10, W19, CH10, HP59, AC17, Init 1, Perception +14 Level 7 Druid

The robot fires another eye ray at Oskar this time.

Razorend leaps upon the robot carving easily through its outer shell and causing sparking damage to its innards. The robot glitches and staggers.
