I'd like to play / GM this character through a series of 4 bounties, one of which would be the one that I wrote: B4 Cat's Cradle. I'm willing to GM that one in the series, or play it under another GM to see how it goes. But I'd like a chance to play Zendel a bit before he levels out of Level One. He's a gnome investigator merchant from Oprak. Is there anyone who might want to split the GM burden on a series of 4 bounties, allowing me to play Zendel in at least two of them?

(And yes, I have to build him. But if I have a game promised for him, I'd be more likely to finish putting together his character sheet.)

Anyway, let me know if anyone wants to trade off GMing with me.

We have 4 GMs interested. Should we do one each, or should I be the lazy bum who lets you all GM since there are 4 of you who said you'd want to GM? I'd rather avoid B2 unless we keep it to a group of 4. Bounties 3 and 5 are fun. B1 is acceptable, though I'd also love to do something newer, but understand not wanting to get an uneven number of bounties on a character.

If you join us, Hawthwile, we absolutely cannot do Bounty 2. It scales poorly for a group of more than 4 characters.

If this goes well, I have no problem with us doing a second set of 4 of the later bounties -- I would just have to change characters, because this guy will be out of tier.

Hah - ninja’d! I can also run a few quests/bounties locally before the character in question has to get to lvl 3, so no worries if having a fifth player would make scheduling problematic. Best of luck and have fun!

The other bounties scale better and could likely handle a group of five if you want to join in, Hawthwile. I was just nixing B2 if you did.

I definitely want another crack at playing 4. I was a bit puzzled with how it went, but that could have been due to the group.

I currently have 2 level 1 PCs.

On a side note, for someone who is only familiar with pfs 1e, what is a bounty?

I was confused about that too. Feel free to take my spot, though I guess that all depends on when this is running as Zendel is busy currently.

The Bounty 4 game starts when we have four players -- we currently have three and are doing intros now. So come join us.

A bounty is a quest-length adventure with no Society connection. The idea is that this is a sidequest you are doing on downtime between Society missions. So far the ones that I have played and run are quite fun! Currently they are level 1 only. Our plan is to do 4 of them in a row to equal the XP of a normal adventure.

I think that we'll do a 4 bounty run separate from Phaeton_NZ's because his filled up so quickly, and I will take myself off the waitlist for Bounty 3. So come join us. We have a witch, an investigator and a battle oracle.

As a side note, I am planning on making a divination wizard who is multiclassing to investigator. The concept I had in mind was a halfling but it is hard to pass up on ancient elf for multiclassing. That is all I have left to decide and I can build him up.

Fun! That could be a cool way to say my character joined up with the society! Ohh that is a lot of casters/not physical types. I might switch things up a bit and make a melee character instead then.

On a side note, is it just bounties that tend to be 4 players or society scenarios also 4 players as standard?

I would say that they work better with 4 because the scaling is too good ;)

If we wind up with more than 4 players, we don't want to do Bounty 2. I think the others are okay for scaling.

Is there enough interest for a second rotation altogether?

I'm interested in general, but not available to start a new game for about 2 weeks. If there's an overflow of interested parties (GMs or players) we could start one then.

I believe that specifically Bounty 1 and 2 both do not work well because of the scaling. I now avoid running them with more than four players. Do not bring a low hit point character (such as a ratfolk Wizard) into these if there are five or more players because of the chance of death due to massive damage.

Bounty 3 looks like it is borderline. I think it might be alright, but am not sure. It has a different type of boss, so the problems aren’t quite as severe.

Ah. My intention was to run Bounty 3 after the players currently in B4 had completed it. But, since my sheet has filled up, I'll get it set up and started now.

As for playing B4, I don't have any experimental builds set up at the moment to test - although the concept of sprites look interesting but I have my doubts if a tiny PC can work well in practice.

Tiny caster or ranged combatant should be just fine. I have my doubts about tiny melee.

If your character is in Phaeton_NZ's Bounty 3, that is starting up soon and you should stay there. If you're not... Yes, come one over since I invited you!
