I blame Cosmo for my cats being huge jack wagons and causing enough work to eat up the entire weekend, thus, no fly fishing, no home brewing, no working on new awesome frog/mantis combo tank, and no finishing the upcoming ItB: the Rogue from Flying Pincushion Games, nooo...freaking cleaning chores all weekend, blast it cosmo, I AM FORTUNES FOOL!!!!

I also blame Cosmo that I fell asleep (standing up!) in the shower Monday night. Thankfully, it's a tiny shower, so I bonked my head on the tile wall before toppling completely over. Also thankfully, it was my head, so it isn't like I damaged anything important.

On Monday, I just found out about this little place that makes the best BBQ I have ever had: hickory-smoked chopped pork with a slightly vinegar-y slightly-hot N. Carolina sauce on the side. It is so delicious, you want to keep eating it until you are well past full, and yet you still crave more. So I pop out on the Intertoobz to find a menu and hours and stuff, and I found out the owner is closing on May 30th because of his health issues*. W T F?! COSMO!!!
Edit: * He's also losing his lease. WTH? So many commercial property owners/companies locally are always whining about the "slow economy", "too many regulations", and "too high property taxes and impact/development fees" and how they're hurting, but they always seem happy to raise their rates until they've run out all their tenants, leaving them with no rent from perpetually empty buildings and strip malls.

OK, so one of the best people I've worked with in my job is leaving the company after many years of great service to a better paying job. So tonight we are all getting together to give him a send off with a few drinks and reminiscences.
Except that no one told me about it until yesterday morning. Right after I made arrangements to get my internet finally upgraded and settled after weeks of chaos for Friday evening. After all, I had nothing going on then so it would be the perfect time. Since rescheduling is a no-go, I can't go to the send off.
For this, I Blame Cosmo.
