"So, feeling like you could face the world, Morrivan? I'm pretty sure that was the bell a few moments ago... though I'm also pretty sure they're not going to be strict about attendance today." Ardiente asks quietly, still conscious of the recentness of the loss Morrivan faced.

Morrivan shook her head. "Sorry, but no. I don't think I can handle class today. I still can't quite believe he's gone. He's always been there and now...I didn't even get to say goodbye," she added, looking away as tears started to fall again.

"Ya... it's just that there's so much I don't know. I don't really know what to do from here... I'm not a mind reader. I don't know if it would be better or worse for me to be there... maybe I should just wait. If he wants me there, he can come ask... I don't know..."

"I just don't know anything about this! I'm so confused! Why does he have to be a guy?! And why does this have to be so hard?!"
He yells into the pillow, it muffles it to a normal speaking voice.

When you think about it you can't do it because you don't believe it's possible. You have to forget about what's possible and just do it," he said, trying to help.

Treisdan enters the cafeteria as the chair is removed from her leg, watching her happiness at being healed, along with her slight moroseness at the past, Treisdan stands still in his black robe, watching quietly, with long pale hair brushing his back.

He smiles as the fire bird becomes fully healed, but it doesn't seem to be a joyful or relieved smile, more of a quirk of the mouth

Treisdan analyzes all of the people in the immediate area, his skill at reading others motives, bodies and expressions is quite detailed, almost as if he reads the soul of a person instead of their body language.

While Kaetar and the Headmaster are talking, Iolth yawns and teleports over to where he sees a class list. Picking it up and thumbing through it, Iolth stumbles upon Vare's and 'Professor Tokala's' classes. ¨Ummm... Kaetar? There seems to already courses covering the planes and outsiders. This 'Tokala' is covering the hands-on stuff, however, Vare can probably use the experience of an outsider to supplement his summoning course if you're still hell-bent on teaching. Ya know, you can help him with teaching students on how to deal with various outsiders, recognizing extra-planar beings aren't just tools, etc. Kind of like introducing humanoid rights to outsiders.¨

Iolth continues perusing the packet, making the occasional ooh or ahh. ¨We can use all of our abilities in the SIM room? Sweet! Definitely Advanced P.E for my physical course, then... Oh, cool, a creative writing class! That'll be fun... Been interested in Martial Arts for a while, will help me defend myself in close quarters... The innate magic class will be good for me, for sure... Study period is always a good idea to catch up on homework and chill... And Deep Meditation will probably help me control my powers a bit more.¨ Looking up at the Headmaster and Kaetar, Iolth asks ¨How does that sound for a schedule?¨

Just trying to give a jump-start to the conversation at the office.

The look of shock on Vare's face is quite plain as Anahita describes the Outsiders from whom the villagers were rescued, and he blinks in disbelief.

"Those.... those are N'gathau... you fought them?" he asks cautiously, a touch of tension in his voice. It's unsurprising that Vare would recognize such, given his Planar lore specialization, though the news of them obviously isn't good news to the wizard.

His thoughts are interrupted when Anahita pulls him close, mentioning lunch or dinner, and he blushes somewhat fiercely at the description of tackling from behind and the licking of faces. "Er..." he says, taken aback at her forwardness. "Am I to be your prey then, to be hunted?" An attempt at playfulness, perhaps misguided. "I'm sure we could find some privacy this evening... teleportation spells could find us a quiet place together."

"Your expression speaks volumes, Professor." She slowly pulls her arm away from Vare, the bell had just rung after all. Nothing overt to the gesture.

Anahita's Response:
"Yes, they were trounced by the other students. I did very little save provide some healing assistance. I was curious what they were, but there was no opportunity to engage in diplomacy with these N'gathau. Simply the standard, see a threat and attack-- with good cause. A whole village had been abducted, it appeared. Those people were saved, though I think one villager's spirit was released to the Cycle. They had tampered with the nature of things, these creatures. Necromancy of the perverse sort." Sounding slightly analytical there, she looks around at the class room.

"Does the Professor wish his student to sit some where specific, or should I simply pick a desk at my whim?" She smiles slightly at the question and maintains standing where she'd first arrived, near Vare.

On the topic of going somewhere private later, perhaps she'd simply forgotten, or didn't chose to reply, yet. At least, for the moment, she didn't appear to be 'hearing voices'.

Stepping out of the room, some five minutes later, Tryko'Sam beckons Jeran over.

"Yo, dude... update time."

Briefing:
Leaning against the door frame, looking back into the room at the blonde occupying it, Tryko'Sam frowns lightly, but has a hint of a sincere smile, as she continues examining various non-fantasy related items; plastic, smooth metal, and some of the cloth from the infirmary.

"So, short version-- daughter of village priest, or priests? Fishermen and warriors. Claims something special about her birth, nabbed from home as a kid, been with these Masters in the mountains some .. ten, or so, winters? Doesn't seem to have much education, but, finally got through to her that this isn't the Master's place and she's not going to get sacrificed. Can't really give much info on the Masters, treated well, repeats some crap about being sacrificed as if that's the horse s&$~ they have been feeding her. I'm guessing she's physically sixteen or of age, given my limited cultist 101 from the past. I guess demons like them ...of age. Think she's crushing on me, I need to keep her at distance." He gives a shrug.

Looking back at Jeran he asks, "Is this your scene then, protector? I don't know what this planet's rules are, or laws, but, sounds like kidnapping and ...well, demon worship and all the joy that comes with it. How did you want to roll on this? I can handle it if you want, or back seat. I don't know what to do with her though-- she's not the mental age her body is. Probably doesn't realize her parents are dead, or cares, which is the worst part."

He stands there with one hand motioning while talking, but in the end, both are folded on his chest as he waits for Jeran's response.

Ehos: Ehos appears to be a happy-go-lucky elf, his clothing somewhat rumpled and disheveled same as his hair. His posture indicates that he's probably a little more tense than he lets on, but beyond that he seems generally pretty carefree.

Vai: As far as Treisdan can tell, Vai's a fairly shy girl, though her emotions are so tangled up. Treisdan can feel a fair amount of anger. The biggest thing he would pick up on Vai's need for control - likely the source of her anger. There's lots of emotions in this girl, and she probably can't sort through them herself.

He feels confused, slightly larger, and the scariest one, happy.
He had just crammed a small horse down his throat, and for some reason he was feeling the best he has felt since he can remember, along with feeling slightly sick because of being so.
Gods... I feel amazing... but I shouldn't... I just killed a horse... ate it alive... So why does this feel so amazing....? I feel... justified... like that was normal...

Despite this, he watches as he swallows the pony whole and then lays back, giving a sort of deep purr.
"I need to not do that. Ever. Ever again. Ugh. Cancel playback..."

He looks over to the cold sibling "Relax Pyry, there's nothing to apologize for. I'm a shaman, in tune with all the elements of nature, and the spirits of the world. Also, the Lycan society is pretty violent, so I am used to blood and screams. Pray you never get that comfortable"

He places a calming hang on Asha "Meditation can possibly help you control your ability. I can assist you with that, if you'd like" He offers.

¨Since, by looking at the class list I can't find anything that interests me, I'd say yeah, headmaster. Should I go take a tour of the school and get myself in my dorm while you work out details with Kaetar? Iolth kind of shrugs, and looks at Kaetar. ¨Hey, you'll do great with whatever you do, 'kay, Kaetar? I mean, look at me, I was damn near insane when you found me, and now I'm a happy, cheerful, perfectly normal-well, not really normal, but anyways-tiefling. Trust me, if you can salvage my mind, I'm sure you'll get to be a teacher of your own class at some point.¨

He pulls a chair up to the door that magically keeps cold on one side and warm on the other.
He sits on it and pulls the blanket around him.
"Thank you for being here for me Mel."

Mel smiles of course, what else would I do, Hey I have got to get to class, as much as I would love to skip class, i really can't

looking to Keme, I'll try what you said, and thanks, please take care of him ok?

Mel hesitantly goes to leave, but she leave slow enough to return at the slightest hint that she can stay and skip class without being in any real trouble.

Once they're at the lake and rested on the shores, Michael starts to think.

"Kitty, is there anything you'd really like to do with me? Swim, race through the trees, look for the alicorns, anything?"

** spoiler omitted **

Kitty pauses as if considering. She took his hand, running her thumb across his palm, tracing the lines.

"I can think of something, but I promised I wouldn't ask anymore because it puts you in an awkward position having to say no. Mostly I just want to be with you."

"Kitty?" He closes his hands around hers and looks her in the eye. "Yes."

For just a second she forgot to breathe. And then she kissed him, sliding her hand underneath his shirt. She'd been patient for longer than she had ever thought possible, and she wasn't about to wait any more...

Balamor woke and got out of bed, "Odd, I wasn't woken by the sun in my eyes." He shrugged and went to light a stick of incense as he always did, and caught his arm hair on fire. He shouted and beat it out, "That's normal." after dressing he headed for the stairs and slipped, faling and bouncing down them, "Ow, stairs, stone, sharp, pain, this, sucks."

Jeran sighed. "Not much we can do for her. Sounds like it's going to take a lot of time and care before she's back to something passing for normal. Guess she can stay here then. I mean, sounds like she has nowhere else to go. Avalon is good for that, and there are some pretty good psychic healers. They might be able to speed her recovery a little," he said with a shrug, frowning as he glanced in the direction of the girl's room.

"As far as dealing with the cultists...we don't exactly have a planetary authority. Laws are different in different regions. But...what's wrong is wrong no matter what weird laws they have. Murder, kidnapping, and I'm sure a whole assortment of other crimes...it can't go unanswered. So let's go answer it. I...have a special grudge against the kind of people who get their jollies from causing pain," he said, his frown deepening as he considered what little information they had so far.

"Look, man wolf, no reason to frown. Just give the word, we can swoop in and rescue more kidnappers. I mean, if that's what you wanna do- I don't know what drives you yet. Pretty clear what red devil guy wanted to do with the cultists, dunno about Vickory, she's a cold blooded-- ah, never mind. I did start this s+#%, so if you wanna bounce, fine. If you wanna hit the books, no foul. Me, kinda unsure where I stand, but, only one way to learn. Girl's safe, got her out, time to scout and stuff I figure. Pain sure isn't my thing, but, this has all the hallmarks of nasty any way you cut it. Abyss s~%&, one way or another, however you look at it."

Looks like Tryko'Sam's waiting to hear Jeran's clear decision, perhaps sorting his own confused thoughts out. It's nearly impossible to gauge his emotional state, which varies from one moment to the next, much like his speech. While Tryko'Sam has all the signs of being a leader, innately, he's not acting on such.

"Alright, please follow me. We're going to go through the outer office and to a conference room where we can work on getting through paperwork and getting schedules assigned. The Headmaster may stop in to say hello if he gets a moment, but he's very busy, so don't be surprised if you don't get to meet him this time," he said, ushering the group through the office, pointing out the secretary's desk for the girl holding the awkward stack of papers that had been dropped by the engineering teacher. "You can put those papers on that desk there. Come on, folks, it's the first door on the left."

As before, the various Firebirds follow in a similar fashion.

Sven close to Sorchan's side. Tall, thin haughtily up front, yet aloof and alone. Ulna mixed in with folks, peering about. Ash haired youth, in the back, always an arms length from anyone else.

Easy to fix

Helo stopped reading, she got up, she noted another arrow on the wall, is had made a mistake, this was not the place they where sending her.

"Wrong door Toby, probably a broom cupboard, arrows say the one we want is along this way some more"

She left the door she had knocked on an carried on, just then a bang then a rush of voices and feet, the arrows here pointing the way the sound had come from.

Tobys back was up and his claws out.

"Toby cool your jets, no danger yet"

The Robot dog relaxed.

"Come on lets see what the hubbub is about and the arrows are sending us its way"
