I am ready for so long now it starts to hurt - also I start to annoy my girlfriend...whoops...I hope, at least, she is a gamer girl, else you might have a problem.
Well I got to know her because I invited myself to a dnd party :P
But she is the type that rather waits for a system to get some stuff then instantly starting outAnd I don't even should think about trying to explain her how wonky the pf1 math actually was because that is the part that interests her the least...
Well, stil gonna play with her, I am the GM after all :P
Got my shipping email today but quickly remembered that I can't get the pdf until August 1st. The wait continues! :(
I can say one thing after reading all the blog posts and discussion I am now more interested in Pathfinder 2 enough that I did a subscription for the first ever with Paizo. Can't wait
thats actually an pretty good idea, I'm going to buy the books as pdf either way :P

As soon as I've more or less memorized the rules I'm gathering my group and starting Age of Ashes.
Then I'm converting WotR and getting back to run that.
And finally I'll wait for the LOWG for the Varisia backgrounds and start a conversion of RotR as well.
Yeah, I'm starting Age of Ashes as soon as my Hell's Rebels campaign finishes - they are on book 6 right now and should be done pretty soon after 2e comes out at this rate.

Gosh, it's shocking, really, that so many people managed to engage with the thread in good faith without anyone heroically pointing out the egregious typo/spelling error. How on earth did everyone infer the intended meaning so accurately?

I for the most part don't notice minor spelling, grammar or tense issues: My brain auto-corrects it and I go about my day. If I posted corrections every time those kind of things come up in my PbP games, I wouldn't have time to make game posts. :P

My book left Washington state three days ago. That's the last update I've received.

It took a week for my books to get from Washington to Denver. Most of the time with no updates as to where it was. I feel your frustration.

Did I make a mistake and order everything P2? Will my entire order wait to be fulfilled all at once? I notice other people getting some items already and feel that perhaps in my zeal I have made a mistake and should have just ordered the initial items.
I think it's just luck. I ordered pretty much everything there was to order and I got it all last week even though I live in Germany. Hang in there!

In the past I’ve gone to a particular big chain book store for big releases because they tended to put things on the shelf a little early. So yesterday I went to take a look. No books but they did have the GM Screen, Condition Deck, and Plaguestone Flip map on the shelf.
I thought sweet!! Can at least look them over. Got to the register, the guy scanned them, looked at his computer screen, and called someone in the back and then told me they can’t let me buy them until the 1st.
Almost had them!! Oh well the wait continues......

I just assumed that since the books weren’t on the shelf, only accessories, that maybe the box they were in weren’t marked or some employee just over looked it. But the system caught it like you said so all is well. I can confirm the packaging looks nice

I ordered everything and my books arrived.
Fwiw, I did see some people who preordered the lot omens campaign guide (rather than subscribing) have a problem with their order waiting for everything to arrive. Customer Service had to manually separate the lost omens book out of their PF2 order.
It looks like you’ve got a subscription so it shouldn’t apply to you, but perhaps it would be worth posting a new thread in the customer service subforum, just in case (?)
