Hey all, I don't get over here much, but as has been my tradition for every edition of D&D and Pathfinder since Eric Noah started compiling information on D&D 3E back in 1999, and I did the same with D&D 3.5, D&D 4th Edition, Pathfinder, and D&D 5th Edition, I'll be compiling every snippet of information about Pathfinder 2nd Edition I can find all in one place!
Whenever I see a new bit of info, a new blog post, a new post from a designer, I'll be adding it there (as well as posting regular news updates on the news page).

Currently compiles info from the Glass Cannon podcast, all the forum posts from designers here, or on EN World, and all the blogs/announcements so far.

A bit of speculation, but the point in the podcast where one of the PCs falls and gains the hampered condition came at a point in the module where, IIRC, a bad save means taking Dexterity damage.
That could just be a change Jason made to the module (or I could be misremembering), but it could also suggest that ability score damage is changed or removed.

Thanks Vic!
Today's updates --
A few small Pathfinder 2nd Edition tidbits have dropped in my inbox! I've summarised the latest at the link above, and also added it all to the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Compiled Info Page. This covers theatre of the mind play, monster reactions, PDF timing, German translations, and Pathfinder Society support for 1st Edition. (Thanks to Jerome for the email!)
All updated at the compiled info page.

And I think staff has adopted the convention of calling them PF1 and PF2
I like this idea - calling it 1e and 2e is confusing. I played 2nd ed AD&D, and my husband played all the way back to 1e AD&D and the boxed set stuffs. Whenever someone says '1e', I think of magic-users and thiefs and race/class level restrictions.

Sorry if this is just getting spammy. Let me know if it is!
Today's update about Pathfinder 2nd Edition! A ton of small updates covering a whole variety of topics -- critical hits, skills, spell scaling, underlying math, proficiencies and attack bonuses, and more! Dive in! All this has also been integrated into the Pathfinder 2 Compiled Information Page (which underwent some major reorganisation yesterday, as the sheer volume of information was starting to mount up!)

Hi Morrus! There's a little spoiler box below the text box titled, "how to format your posts."
It shows you how to do the url formatting properly for this site. It's a bit different from your site.
What you're doing: [url]...[/url]
What you need to do on this site: [.url="link goes here"]text you want see highlighted[/url]
Remove the period. You need the = sign and the quotes around the link.
Here's your link: PF2 - Updates - How big should the bestiary be and other stories.
If you quote me, you should see the actual formatting, as well. :)

Sadly, the spoiler button doesn't work on Safari, so I can't get at the formatting guidelines.

Aha, thank you!

Caught it just before it dropped off the page!
Today's update includes this new infodump on levelling, skills, feats, faux leather covers, and much more, along with a new playtest report from @exile over on EN World.
All added to the compiled information page. Which is now enormous, and it's not even a week yet!

There's a fair amount to unpack in today's Pathfinder 2nd Edition news roundup! The big thing, I think, is where we find out what Resonance is and how it limits magic item use (and CLW wand-spamming); there's a ton more playtest demo media for you to watch or listen to, and some discussion from Paizo's Mark Seifter on Pathfinder 2nd Edition's differences to D&D 5E. All updated on the compiled info page (linked above) or see this post for just today's specific updates:

After having discovered that all my updates for the last 2 days to the compiled info page had vanished, I just spent a few hours reapplying them. Fun!
It's another day, and that means another round of Pathfinder 2nd Edition News! Today's menu includes more discussion on resonance, followed by the main course -- the new rules for death & dying! All added, as ever, to the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Compiled Info Page!
Latest additions:

So, this had dropped off the front page since my last post. I can't tell if anybody's reading it or not, and I don't want to feel like a spammer -- should I continue posting updates in the thread? I'll still be writing the news updates and keeping the compiled page updated regardless, of course.

And today's update! So much math... if you ever wanted to hear about spreadsheets running simulations for Resonance and Death/Dying, it's your lucky day!
Pathfinder 2 - More on Dying, Resonance, & Much Math!
All being added to the compiled info page here:

Proficiencies are the big news for Pathfinder 2nd Edition today! We take a look at Paizo's new blog on proficiencies, and I break down Mark Seifter's daily novel (I have no idea how that guy has time to work on the game!); some of the quotes below get a little opaque, so free to skim past them unless your Pathfinder system mastery skills are strong. We also very briefly look at magic items and Resonance again.

(yeah, didn't try the formatting this time and just pasted the URL in directly; forum's definitely adding spaces into it).

color me shocking grasped that means to much resonance even for low level character.

I am pretty sure it is demonstrated during the Glass Cannon Podcast that it is Level + CHA MOD. I believe it comes up in Part 3 but might be Part 4.

This is my second attempt to do this today, as I had all this compiled earlier and then the internet flaked out on me just as I hit "Save". So... starting again! Today's Pathfinder 2nd Edition news update, remarkably similar to the one I wrote about an hour ago, includes Jason Bulmahn talking about game design goals, Mark Seifter clarifying some things about the new proficiency system, and Erik Mona discovering that the most popular archetype is the Archeologist! All, of course, will be added to the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Compiled Info Page!

Today's update - Today brings us our first look at one of the core classes -- the fighter! Jason Bulmahn delves into what we should expect from the 2nd Edition version of this classic class.

Are you saying the if you click on either of the links that it does not work? I just clicked on them one at a time and was taken to the correct place on ENWorld...
And if you mean just pasting the link into the posting box at the bottom, yes, the link has a space. I used the url tag:
{url=http://www.enworld.org/forum/content.php?5074-Bulmahn-on-Pathfinder-2- Design-Goals-Plus-Proficiency-Clarifications-Archeologists!]Linkified:[/url]
and if necessary remove the space before submitting. Replace the first "{" with a "[".

Without wanting to digress back into tech support, whenever I post a correctly link here with the URL tags, and hit submit, the software inserts a space into it, breaking the link, after I hit submit, not before.

Ok. Not what I see, but I'm not that much of a web techie to figure it out, so I'll just drop it. Have a good one, and thanks for keeping up with the wiki.
