OK, twice now I saw request for someone to GM an AP.
And twice someone picked it up rather quickly,
I have been looking for a Wrath of righteous game for a long time. very few offered and most have been private.
been passed up a couple of times and promised a game a few more (these never came about)
so anyone out there interested in this?
I tried asking this a while back and got lots of volunteers but all of them pretty much vanished from the boards right after that.
So in short I am asking someone to pick up a Wrath game, we are not very far into it, in fact we are still in need of a recruitment thread.
In fact Gestalt and fewer players is an option for me as well...

I've been toying around with the idea of running WotR, but I must warn you that IF I decide to do this (and it is a big IF), it will not be gestalt for sure... probably a 15 pt buy with 4 PCs, the way the AP was designed to be run and not turn it in a cakewalk or give me tons of work to try to balance it to a new power level...

I have been in 3 games of WotR which have croaked.
I'm still sort of waiting on one where the GM has been AWOL since October last year and have lost hope.
I personally think the AP is cursed, but I would certainly like to give it a shot. Heck, if I owned it, I would probably run it myself since it seems to be in constant demand.

Yup... I'm gonna give it a try but according to many threads it seems that even as non-gestalt and 15 point buy it still is pretty easy when players optimize their builds or are experienced
So, I'm looking for a way to bump it up a bit and would probably prefer no min/max and ban/change a couple of mythic feat/powers... After all what drives me to this AP is its plot, and not the "superman" pcs.

I would prefer. to dump Gestalt personally and stick with Mythic as the mod was intended.
With a good group of players the power level of the mod is not entirely a problem. if its to low, then so what. the key is all the players are having fun and can see the development of their characters as they grow and level.
it isn't much to make small tweeks to enemies as needed as the game progresses. this will be entirely on the party and how they respond/deal with the encounters.
remember this game isn't all about combat.
If the GM wants a 15 point buy, then that is what I'll use. If there is no Gestalt, then fine I can go with that.
regardless of the stats or the base build, I will still play the character with the personality I envision for her.

I would much prefer to play against beefed up enemies rather than play with nerfed characters. Sure we all play mainly for the story, but mechanics are also fun. If we didn't enjoy mechanics we wouldn't be playing the mechanics-heavy pathfinder, but rather some more rules-light system.
I would like play a void school wizard going down the archmage path. 15 point buy doesn't hurt a wizard nearly as much as it hurts a paladin or a monk.

Agreed but unfortunately beefed up enemies require quite a bit of work from the GM, often leading to GM fatigue and drop out. BWT I'm happy to apply for a 20 or 25 pt game if you want to run it (:

Well, I know a 15 point buy is not a game for everyone, even though this the path I'm going to follow.
Also I'm not quite sure how a 15 point buy limits mechanics... You still get the same feats, class levels, spells... Actually I think with less points you need to think more mechanicaly/strategicaly since you can't charge a bunch of enemies or tank every blow...
Also, another reminder... This thread ins't a recruitment yet, so anyone can apply when I put a recruitment properly.

Any idea when you are going to be putting this up?
