Androste - Faun Rogue
Faun Rogue (Nightwalker) ... and I'm still trying to decide on Community.
Is there more information in the Daggerheart book about fauns that's not in the SRD? The SRD has purely physical and mechanical information, and I'm wondering if there's more to faun personalities and society in the non-SRD book.
Or is that purely up to me and what I envision fauns to be based on anything from Roman myth to Narnia to Percy Jackson?
I guess this would be analogous to me playing D&D the first time and creating a dwarven character picturing one of Snow White's seven dwarves, only to discover at the table that in nearly all D&D worlds, stereotypical dwarves are taciturn drunks who like honorable warfare.

I currently have a bunch of stuff on my plate, so I'm probably going to be somewhat slow working out my character's details.
That being said, community-wise I am almost certainly going to go with Wildborne. Maybe Wanderborne, should this be preferable in terms of party composition or somesuch.

Purely up to you. We are kind of leaning Greek Mythology, but you are able to contribute to the world! That is one of the things that I love about this game in particular! It invites the players to contribute!
@WorstFighter, no worries! We will have a lot of discussion before we actually start, so contribute where you can and I will make sure we are all ready before we start!

My thoughts are that Vesper is from the northern reaches and is a combination of glossy and flat white coloration, with pale blue eyes. He is almost an albino and usually takes precautions to keep out of the direct sunlight... often accomplished by use of a variety of umbrellas. He wasn't particularly upset that his condition caused him to have to stay indoors as he always enjoyed reading a good book or scribbling in his many journals to more physical activities as well... hence he never developed the strength many of his friends did.... and frankly didn't care.
When the opportunity came to travel to {GM Fill in the blanks or give a little guidance}, he jumped at the chance and found not only enjoyment in learning things... but that he might just have a gift for applying learned magical principals... But wait... Is there more magic available than what is here. I must find them.
And though I don't support AI created art and would never use it in anything published. This captures Vesper's look and personality perfectly.

Okay, here's my thinking about fauns. Fauns are peaceful beings that live in the forest. Satyrs are mischievous beings that live in the forest. Fauns and satyrs are very similar physically. In fact, most non-fauns/satyrs have difficulty telling them apart, but fauns and satyrs don't have this issue.
My guy was a faun who lived in a community that was mistaken for satyrs by a mob that was enraged at something a satyr did. The faun colony was scattered, and my guy ended up fleeing to a city where he had to live by his fast reflexes to survive the streets. Eventually, he fell in with the thieves guild, where he learned many stereotypical thief skills, but it goes against his nature, and he's looking for a way to leave.

Hey, in case this is helpful for anyone, I put together a quick template for my rogue to fill out my alias page. It's not perfect, but it gets all the information onto your alias. (I hope. I'm still learning.)
Copy the spoiler text into a text editor and do a find-and-replace to change all of the squiggly brackets into square brackets.

Okay, I've completed Kephalos' profile. At least until we get to the Connections part of character creation.
And here's a slightly updated template:

And this is TheWorstFighter checking in! Sheet's not quite finished, but most of the basics should be there. (My thanks to Andostre for the template.)
If possible I would like for Enna to have a firbolg/human mixed heritage instead, as this would allow for a number of pieces (including the relevance of the artwork I have in mind for her) to fall in place more neatly. If it isn't, that is also OK!
