Cup vs. kinda cup. I'll go with the one that I have not seen before.
Yet another DR I hate you item. Downvoted for being underpriced
Yeesh. No. I think I've gotta go for silly over OP, but it is a tough call.
This excellent anti-incorporeal item is an automatic Keep. Even better, it opens a whole new vista of potential variants I would welcome in my game. Indeed it makes me want to give one to my players just to see what they do with it. Really great job, mysterious designer.
Never thought I would add this kind of item to my list. But here it goes ;-)

F the dungeon! We are heading straight to the dragon.
Umm, you should have read the rules on how those mechanics work. I mean, they are something you should know. Especially, if you have ever played about 1/2 of the classes in PF...
Thrawn007 wrote: Every time you come up, I try to figure out why you picked that spell for construction. Making the game easier does not mean you've made it more fun.
I see you aiming for a niche of your own, but I find that your execution was too over the top.

Before submitting an item, lets say the "Pauldrons of Ungainly Size", check to see if there are any other published items using the same item type. Following my example, I would feel quite foolish submitting my pauldrons only to find out I used a different item slot that all the other pauldrons already published. Surprisingly, a few items post cull 3 have had such an issue, and I can only assume it is because voters just are not looking into the details that far. However, I think now that we are looking at the top ~50%, these are the sorts of things voters should be paying more attention to.
I know most voters have seen a lot of items multiple times now, but please make sure you are not voting based of your memory of each item and give them a thorough check each time. I also know now is when your willpower might be faltering as voters, but now is when the items need the most consideration, as the faults will not be as obvious. Happy voting!
In other words: This item does absolutely nothing.
Different item: Appearing to be completly normal and having no apparent effect also means that your item pretty much does nothing.
Different different item: Just because there isn't an item that grants a +5 bonus to Profession (underwater basket weaving) in the game, doesn't mean such an item would be Super Star.

Item, I can totally understand why someone would want an item that does that.
But if you are going to break physics in that way, you at least have to give a hand-wavy magical explanation for why that would work. Otherwise it comes off as entirely too gamey.

I'm afraid it's already dead. On the bright side -- your hair will stay cleaner now.
I think that one was a bird figurine. Also, maybe a touch too specific. <3

I know you thought this was not a joke item when you submitted it, and I have a fairly wide berth for humor acceptance, but the name is just over the top. Dropping one word might have given you my vote. Such a shame.
Paizo uses the word "radius" a lot, and for reasons. Please don't waste your words trying to describe it to me.

If your item is a strict improvement to an existing weapon property, it shouldn't be cheaper.
That is a lot of those. How much do they weigh?
We are voting for the bottom at this point. Can't remember the last time I saw an item I'd want.
Are we allowed to Snark at the mixup Paizo has done with our voting titles?
What is this witchery? Two items I have not seen before!
Edit: Yikes! Why do both of these items want to meld into my body? IMO that is more of a drawback than a bonus.
Still waiting for my own item to come up on the voting page. *sigh*
That's.... an... interesting item. *squints* That's...
...hm. Okay. The longer I stare at it the more it grows on me. I've gone from 'what? that's awful, why would I...' to '...oh, well, that... okay, I guess I'm voting for it.'
It helps, of course, that your opponent is a monster in a can.
okay item, you are not actually a magic walkie-talkie like I expected from your initial description. Unfortunately, that would have been a better choice in this case.

I knew I should have made a magic bag that turns all treasure and magic items in a 500 ft. radius ethereal and then sucks them into the bag, where they return to normal. (The bag has twice the volume of a portable hole, by the way).
"Well, that's this dungeon looted. Let's move on to that ruined temple we've been hearing about."
Inb4 the party is still between levels 1-3 with loot of a level 8 party, when all the enemies and bosses from all the dungeons they have looted come after them in one big group.
Remember folks, You need to actually deal with the encounters to gain exp, stealing their clothes and running off doesn't quite cut it.
Finally saw what I assume to be the "makes casters even more awesome" weapon. Definitely too high on the power curve for my taste.

Also the other item is a nightmare to keep track of :-(
PM me the item, please? :-)
Tripp Elliott wrote: Are we allowed to Snark at the mixup Paizo has done with our voting titles? I kinda like them. It adds that extra bit of whimsy. Maybe we can have the number be how many times we've gotten that achievement. Some of the veterans have titles longer than their posts.
Your item duplicates an existing item's power, for the same price, but with less mechanical clarity, and adds a secondary power which is not reflected in the price, and is also quite vague in its own right. Tsk.
You are pretty good item and got an upvote from me, but when you say you effect a target as the spell x, you don't have to quote the entire text of that spell. People can look it up if they don't know.
It's always weird to see an item that looks good in a book but if a player got it as treasure it would be a confusing pain the booty to have to scrawl on the back of my character sheet. Item, you know who you are.
Also: Praise the Cull! I now know what you guys were talking about when you said everything shark/fish/squid/aquatic was a trope this year. For the 1st week I had a couple of them. On the flipside, all the RIP THE FLESH DRINK THE BLOOD items haven't shown up in my voting for a while now. Weird luck or Culling?
If you're a slotless item that weighs more than my character's armor, shield, and main weapon combined, there may be a problem.

an unwieldy item that would cause combat to become even more excruciatingly slow vs an item that has a very obvious typo. Gotta go with the typo, but c'mon! Read your stuff before you submit it.
I have a feeling this joke item may make the top 32 based on votes. :-/
"Incorporeality" is not something to be just tacked on.
I understand the phallic reference, everything about you is phallic from name to shape. I am not that phallic-focused to ever vote for you and I certainly don't want to swing you around in a room full of friends!
