So I'm one of the people who picked up their subscription at gencon and was told no promos were available for us, everything would ship later and I did see someone else get told something about that earlier this month here. Is this still a thing or should I be worried/irritated at this point?

No need for either yet. They mailed them out a week ago. They couldn't do it in such a way as to provide you with tracking info or a notification email, but they should be on their way to you. If you don't get them by the time you get your subscription, I'd contact customer service. But even then no need to be worried or irritated. They will surely make sure you get them.

If you've got your authorization email, just not the shipping email, then I doubt there's a problem. Authorization order and shipping order aren't tied together, and shipping usually takes at least a week, and up to 2, to get done with everyone. It just depends on where you are in line as to when you'll get your stuff.

Is this push back just for the class decks, or for the Character Add-On Deck and Adventure Path 2? This is my first Paizo sub. I had an authorization declined last Wednesday, so I moved some money from savings and re-submitted. It went through, and the order shows as pending on my account page. Over the weekend, the charge disappeared from the pending section of my online banking site, but nothing has changed within Paizo's site. Is this a normal thing for anyone else, or were charges reversed since the street date got pushed back?

It could be that your bank has a shorter timeframe for when it expires authorizations than we do. Your order is still pending and if the auth has expired then it will simply be reauthe when your order comes up in the queue and charged when it ships.
We do not put through requests to expire auths early from our end unless its is requested specifically from the customer or we notice a problem with an individual order.

Hmm...ok, I am now confused. I ordered 2 class decks, and it was reported they were added to my side cart. I figured they would be added to my order to save shipping. However, they have since shipped separately, and my subscription order is still pending? Order #3265199 is the subscription, and #3276192 is the class decks. Sorry for the hassle, it seems subscriptions don't always run smoothly (I am a new subscriber)

So, on the PACG forum, Vic wrote that the PACG Adventure Deck 2 is delayed. Can I infer from this that the reason my September subscription shipment hasn't been processed yet is because you were still waiting for Adventure Deck 2?
If this is the case then I would suggest that you create an option for subscribers to have their PACG products shipped separately from the rest of the subscriptions, so other products don't get held up by these kinds of delay in the future.

The street date being moved does not affect subscription shipments. It only affects the retail street date.

Hmmm. It looks like the system may have had some trouble with assorted sidecart orders. I've made some changes to the pending subscription order to compensate for things shipped separately when they shouldn't have. You should get an email confirming the changes.

Thanks, that is good to know.

Was gonna check the shipping window to see if that at least has passed. Don't see an obvious way to confirm that, though.
Look at the first post in this very thread. As Hawkmoon269 says, the shipping-ending date is Friday, so your shipment is not yet late.

Unfortunately, based on last month's experience, I personally have developed a "I will believe it when I see it" attitude. At this point if there is another delay I am going to begin becoming much more selective on what I pick up from Paizo and will stop relying on their subscriptions for my gaming needs. My budget with them is 2 or 3 times what I actually need game material wise, I only do the subs for convenience and to support the company.
A few promos just isn't worth the wait for me. Vic stated that some orders are easier to pack and ship first, if CS can help me understand what holds me up to the end of the queue most months I can work around that, but as it is now, with no communication on what is going on, I presume I will have to go at cancelling my subs blindly.
Hopefully I am proven wrong.

I do think that having multiple subscriptions is actually hurting us on that front, not helping. I have subscriptions to the Comics, the RPG line, the Player Companion, and the Card Game, and my shipment is consistently at the tail end of the shipping window as well. I think they look at complicated subscription shipments and say "let's save this for last"... which sucks, because we're the ones ordering the most directly from them! :(

They've said previously that the different cohorts of customers get processed in a different order each month. So superscribers are not always first, nor always last (though I daresay there are some patterns, it's not completely determined by what we've ordered).
The card game has obviously messed things around a few times too (and the various changes of software in the last year), but hopefully those wrinkles are getting ironed out.

I just chatted with Will and it looks like most orders that were generated by the subscription run in September should be wrapped up with the last stragglers being shipped this morning. If there were problems with an order like, payment failures, or if an order was waiting on product, it might still be pending.
thanks

I received Skull and Shackles adventure deck #2 but inside the card box was the contents of a S&S character addon deck... it looks like the illustrated box was already opened and someone mispackaged it (maybe the contents had fallen out and gotten mixed up?) Not sure but now i dont know what to do with it.
How do i request a S&S new adventure deck 2 and send the mispackaged one back?
