![]() I just came to ask this exact question. I'm shocked, shocked! that there will be no official representation right after the launch of WotR. In an earlier thread Mike said he was going, I guess we'll just all have to play with him. ![]()
![]() My subscription order disappeared and everything went into my sidecart. Then I hit "ship immediately" or whatever that button says, but then I didn't complete the order (thinking maybe I would lose my spot in the sub order shipping line). Now the add on deck is in my cart but the promos are gone and I have no orders pending and I'm scared. Thanks Sara and CS team. ![]()
![]() I don't think the card you are encountering is considered part of the location deck, although I don't have a line in the rulebook to point to. I think the intention is to shuffle the rest of the location deck. If that's the case, there's nothing that says the encounter ends; you still need to resolve the original encounter. ![]()
![]() ryric wrote: So it will likely be late October before any scenarios become available for purchase then? Are we still looking at a month delay before the pdfs go on sale for those of us who don't have access to store OP? Bump. Curious about this as well. I suppose I should have bumped during business hours! ![]()
![]() I am a known bard hater, and only ordered the bard class deck out of being a completionist. But then I saw Meliski's character sheet and was like hmmmmmm.... I played him in my last session at GC and liked him a LOT. Beside his gambling ability, he's got Arcane, Divine, and Diplomacy all based on his Charisma d10. So, in conclusion: OP, buy the Bard deck! ![]()
![]() It's already changed in the 1.1 guide. The original sheets had one section per scenario. The new sheets let you write in the scenario in each section, allowing for replay. There's still only three lines for upgrades, but I can't think of a way you'd get more than three in a single play of a scenario. ![]()

So, for clarification, WHEN/HOW can Flenta add above-B spells to her deck? ![]()
![]() Thanks for the explanation but this is really really disappointing. Even after reading the explanation, I still have no email, and I still don't know when I'm going to have various parts of my order. My frustration is compounded by the fact that I would have picked up all of these at GenCon, but didn't because I had no reason to think my sub would not ship. Terrible way to treat your best, most loyal customers. Edit: Will there be an option for subscribers NOT to wait until September for the Character Add On deck? That seems the right way to handle it. ![]()
![]() What are people using? Not being a CCG player, I haven't had use for a deck box before, so I just walked up to a random stand in the dealers' hall at GC and said "Do you have any deck boxes with dividers? They ended up giving me an Ultra Pro Pro-Dual box that works pretty well. It's five bucks, and unfolds to reveal 2 separate deck compartments. Each compartment is big enough to hold all the cards in a class deck box, and there's 2 dividers to keep your play deck separate from the, uh, rest. (Do we have a name for that yet? Sideboard? Ugh.) When I got back I also was tempted by the Ultra-Pro Tower, which has a little drawer for dice at the bottom, but judging by the photos either it's too big to lug around or too small to carry enough dice. http://www.e-minis.net/images/xUP82983.jpg http://www.bantertoys.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/84023_L.jpg ![]()
![]() First World Bard: you were a great Lem! I was Arabundi and my brother was Flenta in that first slot. We both commented to each other a couple times over the weekend how quick to assist you were. You inspired me to play Meliski later in the weekend, which I liked a lot. Doc76, we played with you too. You are a monster! Congrats for getting through the whole adventure twice! ![]()

At the PACG panel at GenCon, I asked if there were any plans to put out minis for the class deck characters after the first 7 sets. They didn't have a decision on that yet, but they said that there's actually going to be 9 initial sets but they couldn't say yet what was in the last 2. I think at that point in the con Occult Adventures hadn't been announced yet, so that would be 6 more iconics. Not sure what else there would be. Let the speculation resume! ![]()
![]() Hey, yeah! That's me against the wall behind #90 and my brother next to me. What a great couple days getting introduced to PACG OP. Over the course of 7 sessions I ended up getting through scenarios 1-4 with one character (Arabundi) and scenario 1 with Meliski. The PACG panel was also really cool. Nice to see the development team in the flesh and get the chance to thank them for how great their support of the community here is. Tanis and crew, thanks again for making it so fun and smooth (from a player's point of view). ![]()
![]() Mustering is going to present you with an interesting challenge. We saw everything from a guy who had blown through the first 4 scenarios and couldn't find anyone to play scenario 5 with him, to small groups of people who had never played PACG at all. The three play sessions I've been in have all run right to the end of the allotted time. (Slots are 2 hours, but they have been ending them about 1:45 to allow cleanup I guess.) By the time people sit down, construct their decks, and get the scenario set up (some were pre-set up and some we had to set up ourselves), you're probably 15 to 20 minutes in. Play itself has been great. Good variety of players and classes and characters. Tannis mentioned yesterday that they ran out of Rogue decks for the free decks. (I assume they eventually got more in since they are selling them downstairs now too.) No conflicts at the table. We haven't had any deaths, although in scenario 2 we had 3 people come close. We did fail the scenario though, so we will be replaying it. ![]()
![]() We played in the very first session, Thursday at 8am. It was understandably a little disorganized, but the Paizo staff was great and kept everything moving. We used temporary class decks since they hadn't arrived yet. There was an error in our table's pre-done setup: the henchman and villains had not been shuffled in. By the time we figured that out, we had pretty much run out of time, so we failed the scenario. We divvied up the boons with no problems and got our chronicle sheets signed. Played again last night. Class decks were in at this point and we got our free one for signing up for 4 sessions. My brother's fighter deck was messed up: it had duplicates of half the cards and half the cards were missing. They replace it on the spot. We replayed adventure 1 and won the scenario. There was some confusion about how to fill out the sheets for a second time through, whether we needed a new sheet or what. We ended up just doing filling in the first sheet and getting a second signature in the box. Again, kudos to Tannis and the whole Paizo staff for keeping things going smoothly and bending over backwards to keep players happy. Excited for the next sessions. ![]()
![]() Yeah, I posted them on Sunday in the "rampant speculation" thread, but here it is again: If you go to My Account and click Make Changes under Pathfinder Society, you will see a button "Register a New Card Game Character". This lets you see the names of all the class deck characters for each class. Bard: "Bekah", "Lem", "Meliski", "Siwar"
My brother made a list over on BGG matching these names up to the codex and other people's speculations: http://boardgamegeek.com/article/16508567#16508567 ![]()

Same for me. Did I screw up? My class decks stayed a separate order. Thanks Sara (and the rest of Paizo Customer Service)! ![]()

Not sure when this went up (and apologies if it's already been mentioned elsewhere).
