Mother has a couple goblin guides lead you to the where the dragon battle occurred. I thought about having Poke Poke being one of the guides. Desmond Poke Poke is a goblin lawyer that Nym is playing in the other game. He grew up in Orctown. The battlefield is roughly 2 miles away and the journey there takes you through some difficult terrain of jagged cliffs, woodlands, and across a small stream. After an hour and half you do come upon the battlefield. You are emerging form a copse of trees. The first thing that you notice is the smell of charred treetops. It's as if bomb and lightning strikes split the trees and exploded the tops off. Lets get perception checks and knowledge arcane and nature and spellcheck. Also what is the general idea of how you are approaching this battlefield. I will get a map up soon.

RD 2: Aragnak Duncan there is grumbling in the dragon's belly, your beard begins to scorch as you await the inevitable eruption. Since Aragnak's snout is glittering with dust and faire fire the dragon decides to let his frightful presence (free action) be known to all within 240 ft. (everyone is caught) within the aura. DC 25 will save for everyone. rds shaken: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 4, 3) = 22
shaken:
A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Aragnak whips his glowing head around towards the sorcerer to ensure that the human caught in the blaze. Then it releases a blast of inferno fire that will catch Duncan (no reflex save) and Kalim. rds till next breath: 1d4 ⇒ 2 Since this is 3 dimensional and I can't indicate that clearly on the map I'll say angle only catches Duncan, Kalim and the invisible summoned creature. fire breath weapon: 16d10 ⇒ (2, 9, 7, 1, 4, 2, 8, 5, 6, 2, 5, 3, 2, 3, 8, 5) = 72 *kalim your reflex save is 27 for half damage
After the dragon uses his breath weapon Duncan is released when the breath so if he survives he does fall 20 feet fall: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3 It will then use it's swift action and quicken spell ability to cast magic missile against Duncan. magic missile: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 3, 4) + 5 = 17 It will then flies upward 280 feet.

The Mayor listens to Duncan's tale of woe. He then comments on a few of the questions, "It sounds like Grung's clan is not completely following the younger brother, Prung. So, I reckon there's an opportunity there." He frowns a bit when thinking about Duncan's family situation. "You say your son, Grimm, is dead but he is servicing Orcus." He ponders to himself. Seriously, what would you expect after naming your kid Grimm." "Well Orcus is the Demon Prince of Undead, perhaps Grimm is undead and servicing his master." Of course that statement lands like a bundle of bricks on the father's head. "And if Grimm is undead, he surely is not serving Grung's brother and it's probably the other way around: King Prung servicing the undead acylote of Orcus." "I suppose more tankards are needed." The Mayor waves at his attendants.

I've invited another player to pick up the bard spot in this game. Most of you will already know the character, its Aggrah in my swamp campaign. ---- I'm still a few days away from getting this thing going again. Its taken me some time to find a plausible path to the next shrine level. essentially you'll have to work you way there. I also have to boost the challenge level to keep this interesting for everyone.

Poke and Dr. Tes you find the legal section which encompasses over half of the second floor of the library. You can find several basic or fundamental books on contracts, salvage, and property rights. You do notice there are a couple spare or 2nd edition of titles. Although you do not find any books specifically entitled "finder's keepers" you do find a three promising treatises: "Rights Superior: The Definitive Legal Guide on Abandoned and Salvaged Property." By Luci Fer Noguilt There's another interesting booked titled: "Squatter's Rights." By Dum'Ster Then there's also a thin book called: "A Dummies Guide to Property Law. I Own It, You Don't Dammit!" By Luci Fer Noguilt
