Attempting to help Noah perform a "Hard Turn" as Chief Mate.. dunno if it's useful or not for this situation.

As Ed shouts Paeon also begins shouting and bashing almost frantically at the ships console as alarms blare warning at the crew,

'Let's see, just turn those that way, turn off those alarms..

One final smash of the console as a calm falls over the bridge, alarms silenced (aside from Ed),

'There ya go Noah, that should do it.. Oh by the way.. HOLD ON'

Hard Turn:
You manually adjust additional thrusters and bypass safety systems, shouting for your fellow crew members to brace themselves for a stomach-turning tactical maneuver. This bit of risky co-piloting might overtax the starship’s turn radius, but it can also help the pilot get significantly more maneuverability out of the vessel when the crew finds itself in a lurch. Attempt an Acrobatics or Athletics check (DC = 10 + 1-1/2 × your starship’s tier). If you succeed, the pilot can make one turn during the round as though the maneuverability of the starship were improved by one step. This has no effect on a ship with perfect maneuverability. @ GMBD .. absolutely much more enjoyable :) . The only alternative here is we join the Corpse Fleet and try to unravel the Pact Worlds... which seems fun (and paeon could be interested) :) but not sure that's our crews direction.

Will give a chance for some thoughts.. We can either double cross Nor, or we can try to dispatch with these guys.. If we want to spacefight, i think that we should try to 'lead' them to the dropped package, and then open fire.. hoping for a surprise round?

Commander Hebiza has informed us that those of the Corpse Fleet are trained in sentient languages. I would advise against boarding at this time, I remain infected by Akata.. '

'Speaking of Commander Hebiza Eskolar of the Corpse Fleet, we met him earlier and our crew jettisoned him when the Hippo was recalled to Absolam station, we couldn't be sure if it was being stolen so we ensured our cargo was safe. Do you travel on behalf of Nor?'

Paeon clears his throat,

PAEON IS happy to be Ed's First Mate if he will promote him ;] .. i think that acrobatics is high for Paeon so the role fits best next to being pilot. Otherwise will man a gun?

After a short rest Paeon has been mulling about the cargo bay,

I know this is a lost ship but they must have had some cargo. Paeon is lookin for anything that may be of value to our crew?

As the comms come through the lashunta groans and begins making his way to the bridge,

Bhru hides a muffled chuckle through a plated fist as the two debate tactics.

He gestures broadly to his outfit,

'I'm not one fer sneakin, you two go ahead then. Signal when I can clamber up.'

I have a skill point in climb but not dexterous so would be best to send the sneaky folks up first. To deal with the two guards more quietly if possible.

As the Lady presents her offer, Bhru coughs and sputters on the liquid he was attempting to ingest. He opens his mouth to say something but the others beat him to it. Listening to the nervous Kellan try and get more than he's worth amuses Bhru as he wipes the bit of spittle off his beard.

Bhru eyes Katigar slightly looking for a hint of excitement. He leans over while the others are chattering,

'Thas four HUNDRED gold coins 'tween us'

He can't help but stifle a small belly laugh at the prospect of claiming a small treasure,

'Never been the one for much of a plan Miss 'vinia, but if you be sayin' somethin needs crushing...'

He grinds his fist absently in his palm,

'then point me in the right direction.'

I was waiting on Nipper for action with Clara..

Paeon yells back at Ed as he heads toward the bay,

'Keep us goin home Captain! We are the owners of a beautiful new ship, no way were letting a bit of an infection take it away!'

He arrives as Clara has her rifle aimed at Nipper,

'Easy now, you remember our agreement, no funny business or we jettison you as parts. Scanner picking up a life form in here that isn't any of us. You get bit down there by anything?'

Bhru saunters through the gates not paying too much heed to them being open nor there being no guard, he mumbles idly to his companion as they proceed.

'Din't have much more t'say than a grumble per usual. Look at the walls of this place, if the rest of ya were half as smart as you were tall you'd jus' build em in the side o' a mountain'

As they are granted entry to the estate the dwarf gives an awkward half-bow.

'pleasure'

He scoffs loudly as he sees the others in the atrium and jabs his companion with a thigh placed elbow,

'Guessin' our skills weren' that impressive huh'

He places his worn Warhammer heavily on the ground before leaning against it casually.

Description:
The armored dwarf before you looks like he's seen better days. His reddish brown beard ever present over the very unkempt scale mail. Armored spikes adorn his armor, though also in a state of disrepair. His warhammer one could imagine was once a beautiful piece, the head of the ram now just blunted and dented from decades of use. His boulder helmet could maybe have once resembled bearing the horns of a ram, but unfortunately these are also belt well beyond useful recognition. His deep weathered skin and eyes are situated around a blunted nose. He seems to have worn his armor well over the years.

Ale dribbles down the beard of the armored ruffian as he grabs the letter placed in front of 'im. He pays no attention to the stranger that knows his name. He begins to read softly allowed.

'Greetin'.. i trust dis miss..IVE. Be findin' you in health. My name is 'vinia...'

He eyes the halfling woman and continues on navigating the letter until finished. Once done he crumples it up and roughly hands it back to the woman.

'I got a few skills indeed las, aye, i'll listen to 'vinia. Tell me where 'n when, 'n there better be ale.'

Alright... i think this is where i'm going..

Presenting Bhru (bee-roo) Angraddson (self proclaimed). The Fighter (siegebreaker/brawler) eventual Bloodrager.

Spiked armor wearing, warhammer bearing, dwarven boulder helmet repin'.

The top of his head no longer bears hair, not for any actual hereditary baldness but because of his perpetual grinding and wearing of a helmet. His deep reddish brown beard protrudes often from the armor that he most always has on. His nose, no longer straight but rather blunted gives notion of a few breaks along his many years. That said if you asked how old he was, he couldn't tell you, he usually stands 4'2" if it weren't for his armor and pugilist stance that bears him down a few inches.

His armor, which barely resembles something you'd call safe is grimy, dirty, and in disrepair. It seems to have rust in some areas but you'd be hard pressed to identify it without a fist to the face. His armor spikes, if you could still call them that seem to be something out of a Dwarven blacksmith comedy. His poor attempt to keep them sharp evident in their no longer quite straight appearance.

The warhammer he carries with him, which once represented a beautiful ram head is nothing more than a disfigured mass of metal at the end of a grip that probably only the likes of his grip strength keeps it in his hands.

Main motivation, put his head down and cause chaos. Worshiper of Angradd (demigod of seeking, and extinguishing threats). Practitioner of the Carnival of War (conceptual) but some form of War forum.. or mantra.. unsure.

He ain't to bright, don't notice too much, never the guy with the plan unless it involved running and smashing into something. He adheres to a Lawful Neutral disposition, if it's a threat.. by his perception though.. it should be eliminated.

Loyal to a fault, hopes that he has someone with a bit more insight to point him in the right direction because who know's what the real threat is anyway?

Character sheet still under development.. still have to determine my stat weight with point buy too just realized charisma is the bloodrager's modifier.. so that can't be 8.. :) hah

Edit: I think Bhru will be a gladiator at the arena in the champion's district.. a suggestion from GMF and something i was considering anyway.

As the baddy disappears Paeon's stellar mote retreats to its usual globe shape. He takes a quick look back at the ship, his comrades and the area.

Paeon shuffles his way to the 'safety' of the ship.

'Better get movin before that thing decides to walk straight into this ship with us.'

As Paeon begins to radiate unbearable heat he shuffles around the beasty in an attempt to save his comrades,

Super Nova:
When you’re fully photon-attuned, as a standard action, you can deal 1d6 fire damage plus 1d6 additional fire damage per solarian level to all creatures within 10 feet of you. A creature that succeeds at a Reflex save takes half damage. At 9th level, you can increase the radius to 15 feet, and at 17th level, you can increase the radius to 20 feet. After you use this Revelation, you immediately become unattuned. Supernova functions as a zenith Revelation for the purposes of abilities that reference them.

Maybe one of the littler squishier folks can take the shield, Paeon has a radiation buffer installed right now. And i understood that she 'modified' her space suit.. but Paeon is diseased and fatigued and is running out of steam.. he needs some rest, just role playing that.

Paeon looks to Noah briefly and pokes the dead Captain with his sword,

"I don't think i'd want to copy her force field, didn't seem to work. I have rainbow worms infesting my body, I am beyond tired and this is SPACE, everything can kill you and i don't even have a force field to modify!"

The Lashunta leaves the droid behind and follows Nipper and the gang. His Solar Mote returns to its celestial form and pulses light in Noah's direction before following.

would like to make a knowledge check before posting to see what Breg knows about where we are.. who resides here.. what this fallen empire is and what the imperials are up to here. Having been an imperial scribe I wonder if some of this might be knowledge to breg regardless.. made a few checks in order for the above.

Any thoughts on what we wanna do with the corpse commander? I don't particularly trust bringing it back to Nor, I would be sort of partial to selling it to King Kurney the drug lord extraordinaire.

Breg slides along in queue with the other downtrodden, mostly just happen to be rid of the cursed element of water beneath him, his body craving some form of heat. As he slides toward the front he faintly hears others answering..

"Tobir Drosschilde*. Former toiler for thee Clinker... ur put a lute in my 'ands tha quickest and I'll put this s&%$ show on the road!"

When he reaches the front of the line he looks up through dreary eyes,

"Breg SLAGHAMMER, no' to be confused with the imposter Slughammer"

Breg attempts to spit whatever moisture he can conjure in his mouth,

Beams of light start to spray from Paeon's suit and body. He stumbles backward.
5 foot move backward.. AOO?

The radiant light becomes unbearable and his solar mote flashes in brilliance.

Paeon uses Super Nova... 1d6, +1d6/lvl. Reflex save for half.

BLAM!: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5

No longer solar attuned

Super Nova:
When you’re fully photon-attuned, as a standard action, you can deal 1d6 fire damage plus 1d6 additional fire damage per solarian level to all creatures within 10 feet of you. A creature that succeeds at a Reflex save takes half damage. At 9th level, you can increase the radius to 15 feet, and at 17th level, you can increase the radius to 20 feet. After you use this Revelation, you immediately become unattuned. Supernova functions as a zenith Revelation for the purposes of abilities that reference them.

Slaghammer and Slughammer stand across from one another, wind and rain and sleet and beards fly. Two magically gifted scribes face off once and for all. One gifted with the strength of the Fire Plane, the other with the grace of the Water Plane.

--Brilliant flash of light—
Fire spews, Water crashes, Slughammer and Slaghammer assault one another.

One stands…. The other falls…
Slaghammer’s blurry vision clears, revealing what appears to be the inside of a boat..

I think I'm going to go Dwarven Fire Elementalist - Primalist Wizard.. With early origins of thinking that Dwarven wizards are of the earth, not born so much as created by the elements in times of need, or trying times.. orrr turmoil.. or something..

this could fit nicely into your thoughts that my characters wizard activated whatever thing was nearish?
