Yup average+1 hp is fine.

@Jon: You don't actually have to pick your finesse training weapon until level 3.

@Kellan: Feel free to reach out to your buddy if you want. We don't really need any particular class, though, I would probably advice against another melee PC, since we've already got 3 and you plan on using summons.

On the treasure note, with Jon dipping into rogue, you can now open the last chest. Inside you find (once identified):

- Three potions of cure light wounds
- A potion of lesser restoration
- A potion of invisibility
- A potion of barkskin +3
- A potion o fcure serious wounds
- An elixir of swimming
- A wand of mage armor with 11 charges
- A small jade coffer worth 300 gp. Inside of the coffer, resting on a tiny velvet cushion, is a light brown gemstone. This is an earth elemental gem, identified as such by a strip of paper tucked under the cushion.

Buddies gonna do a peruse of PbP stuff (I sent him the same stuff u sent me Bhru) after work today, I'll talk to him about class when we cross that bridge hopefully this evening. He's playing a wild card Sorc in my 5e game so I'm not sure where he'll land if he joins.

Kellan will take the swimming elixir if there are no objections. Maybe the lesser restoration too? Mage Armour is tempting but Jon can maybe give me a boop before he pokes things, he can hold that. My character is minorly cursed on quickly breaking stuff out/stowing things so...

Gain Armored Vigor:
At 2nd level as a swift action, a siegebreaker can gain 2 temporary hit points that last for 1 minute. He can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + his Constitution modifier (minimum 1 per day), but only while wearing armor. At 6th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the number of temporary hit points the siegebreaker gains increases by 2, to a maximum of 10 at 18th level.

This ability replaces bravery.

Gain Breaker Momentum:
At 2nd level, when a siegebreaker successfully bull rushes a foe, he can attempt an overrun combat maneuver check against that foe as a free action.

This ability replaces the feat gained at 2nd level.

After giving it further thought, I'm leaning towards more of a frontline/melee character (thinking a Cavalier). Would this be alright? I don't wanna leave any big role gaps in the party, and I'm more than happy to fill the caster role if needed.
@Bhru -- perhaps some sort of a swap is still a possibility?

Probably will take me a little bit of time to put together a concept for a magic user but i'll get to work on it. In the mean time i'll continue to play Bhru :)

Melee's getting a bit congested, but I'm sure we could squeeze another PC in there. Cavaliers are neat, but if you go that way, I would recommend picking an archetype that doesn't have a mount, or play as a small race. There's a fair bit of dungeon crawling the this campaign where a large mount isn't going to be practical and there are parts where you just wont be able to use a mount at all. If you have any questions let me know.

@Bhru: You don't have to change PCs, if you don't want. There's no real glaring holes in the party make-up that need to be filled and a PC that the shoves enemies around and runs over them, doesn't have to worry about congested melee. In any case, if fine either way.

It ain't arcane but I could maybe revamp a tad towards more of a spell support/control Oracle if you're down @GMF? I haven't even cast the summons stuff yet so would only require a spells known revision and a change of revelation. (I honestly misread summons length way back when and should have leaned a bit differently for the low levels anyways... won't really alter the character flavour).

Nothing game breaking jumped out a me, but I did notice a couple of things.

Couple of things:

- Looks like you have too many skill ranks. You should have 6 total at level 2.

- You need to pick a teamwork feat for your tactician ability. (If you don't want to bother with tactician, I would recommend checking out the Gendarme archetype, which stacks with beastrider).

- You might want to invest in a masterwork weapon, it costs an extra 300gp, but gives you +1 to hit.

- Your +1 to AC for being a halfling is a size bonus not a race bonus (bonuses of the same type don't stack, so its important to keep that all clear).

- Halflings have the variant racial trait Outrider (Some halflings specialize in mounted combat. Halflings with this racial trait gain a +2 bonus on Handle Animal and Ride checks. This racial trait replaces sure-footed.) You may want to pick that up.

- Any reason to go with a light shield instead of a heavy one?

- Lances still count as a 2 handed weapon when mounted, so you still add 1.5x your strength to the damage.

- Your wolf's BAB should also be +2

Re: Spending. Might be worth pooling our resources for a Wand of CLW (750gp), also handy for damaging undead as well as keeping us in the fight.

Won't cripple the collective saving effort too much 187gp, 5sp per head for the current 4 members of the party.

I don't wanna meta game too much but I'm gettin some DM hint vibes; maybe we buy the biggest fish we can find at the wharf and ask to get it stuffed/mounted, as half the muscley plus a face group, at the taxidermist hall? Or something weird like mine or Jons dead pet octopus to stall for time while the Stealth group snoops...? We can always bum rush the joint at midnight later? What's the worst that could happen, a Rancor pit?
