Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:
Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.
Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.
As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. This applies to Scenarios only. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

I see a link that says Slides/Area Map, which links to this page
That's the default behavior of the forum when a link is present but the actual url isn't there. In any case, slides should be up now.

I would like to join the game as the sixth player.

![]() |

Sure - go ahead and complete the Macros/slides/rpg chronicles.

![]() |

Filled everything in except macros.
I consent to being damaged by friendly fire, unless it would put me in very obvious danger. That is: if I'm at (or near) single-digit HP, I might warn people to please refrain from damaging me. Otherwise, go ahead. :)
My provision will be a lesser healing potion.
Welcome, Siyokoy! :)

This is the continuation of the game started by GM Mike Hallet. For whatever reason, Paizo has not responded to our requests to transfer the original table.
Since I don't have the original hero point count, I'll just start everyone with 2.

What he said :-)

Thank you, Grom!
GM, the link to Macros seems to be not working. I have two glyphs to share. And I am ok with friendly fire. I will have a lesser healing potion as Pathfinder Provision.
Not sure if we will be going high or low tier. I will adjust stats with the PC Level Bump if we are going high tier.

![]() |

nope. sorry. Let me get my outpost games started then I'll unpause this game.

![]() |

Either someone filled them in for me, or they have been copied from the other campaign. Either way, my macros should be good.

![]() |

Sorry, missed adding tokens to the Slides. That's the last thing for me.
Weird, I wasn't getting notifications for this thread.

![]() |

I've pinged Vanessa (aka phaeton_nz) but he hasn't checked in yet. I'll just constart without him...

![]() |

We got two free minor healing potions from the Venture-Captain. Is there anyone in particular who wants them? Elias already consumed a potion, but I think his was much stronger.

![]() |

Question for the GM: we got four potions of water breathing each. So there's a hard time limit on how much we can be underwater? I don't know if we're going to need it, but it's nice to know beforehand.
Also, the swim fins: I presume you'll note when it becomes relevant what the DC is to move? The Swim rules say you move 15 feet under normal circumstances (10 base, plus 5 for presumed crit success) - that becomes 20 with the flippers, right?

![]() |

Well, the water breathing potions according to the scenario text should be enough to last the entire time you're underwater (which is most of the scenario). I'll post underwater combat rules when the time comes.

Something I just realised: Courageous Anthem has a duration of 1 round. My Martial Performance says if I hit somebody during that, it gets extended. Can I extend it on my next turn, or should I hit in the same turn I cast the Anthem to extend it to two rounds?
So is it either:
- Anthem on round 1. Hit on round 2, extend until start of round 3;
- Anthem on round 1, hit in the same round and extend, free to do whatever on round 2.
My guess is the second interpretation, as normally, "1 round" effects wear off at the start of my next turn, but I'd like to double-check.

![]() |

I think it is the second interpretation. You need to make a Strike on that same round, if it is active for 1 round, to extend it by 1. If you Strike at Round 2, the cantrip is no more, unless it has duration of more than one round because of, say, Lingering Composition.

![]() |

That looks right. Though from the text you can only extend CA once in this manner (so hitting the baddie twice doesn't extend it 2 rounds). But as Siyokoy said, it has to be active the same round.

![]() |

Thanks. I thought that was the case, since as I said, it would last until the start of my next round, but in my head it made sense that you could extend it by Striking the next round: you want to attack anyhow, so you do that instead of Anthem (the Strike would be a substitute for the Anthem, in a sense). But I had it the wrong way around: striking in the same round frees up your action the next round. It frontloads the action economy, rather than waiting to see the next round.
Does my rambling make sense?
TL;DR: I agree.

I'll be out of town from Wednesday (half day) to Sunday, my timezone (UTC +8). Please feel free to delay my actions or bot me as needed. Botting instructions are available in my character's profile.

MERFOLK
* DC 20 Diplomacy to convince Afmari and her merfolk that helping the monastery will cement an alliance
* DC 16 Dragon Lore / DC 18 Diplomacy to convince Afmari and her merfolk that helping the monastery will help bring fame
Just want to confirm that the skills are accurate. Odd that there’s two different DC’s for the same skill.

It's correct. Apparently it's easier to convince Afmari that helping will make him famous :)

![]() |

If you would like your downtimes included with your chronicles, go ahead and roll them now.

![]() |

Forest Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Failure. 2 cp x 8 days = .16 gp

![]() |

If we can keep the posting rate up we can probably finish by Paizocon.

![]() |

Don't mind me. Rolling downtime for the GM.
Crafting vs DC 19: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29
Crit Success for 8 gp.

![]() |

and just shows how long it was since I ran this -- I didn't even realize the monsters were Large until I checked again...

Question about the Allies Assistance:
Allies Assistance (1 action):
* Merfolk: The draconic merfolk deal 2d6 cold damage to a single target with a torrent of chilled water.
* Medic: The medic uses Battlefield Medicine, healing 2d8 Hit Points and making the PC immune to Battlefield Medicine for 1 hour
* Monks: The undine monks churn the waters to deal 2d6 bludgeoning damage to one target, with a DC 20 basic Reflex save
- Is there a range limit?
- Is there a use limit? Can I use all my actions to do three merfolk attacks? Once per round, once per character, or once, period?I'm not planning to abuse it, but I'd like to know what is possible with these options.
Also, the monks do 2d6 with a save, while the merfolk deal 2d6, period. Seems like the merfolk is the better option.

![]() |

It can be used once per round, though any PC can trigger it. There doesn't seem to be a range limit per the scenario text.

![]() |

It wants to... you can turn it into chum with no penalty however...
