Elton, slight change to order of Zion High sending a recruiter and working with the firefighters during the summer.
During the first month of summer break while at work and shadowing the firefighters (from the safety of the fire truck) during a rescue, one of the firefighters got trapped in some falling debris, making it impossible for the other firefighters to be able to access where their friend was trapped. Parker made his first save by phasing through the metal beams that had trapped the firefighter to get him out before where he was trapped got consumed by the fire.
That save made the news, and though Parker was not shown (nor identified) on the media, it got the attention of Zion High, who found out Parker's identity after talking with the fire chief of the station.
As Parker's mother is adamant about keeping her son's privacy/identity confidential, could the recruiter from Zion be someone with mind-reading, and gained the knowledge of his name that way as opposed to the firefighters revealing Parker's identity to the recruiter?

Yes. That can be a viable alternate. :)

@EJ
I was wondering, i had 3 options for what was killing her, just wondering which one would you have for this game/world?
Radiation
Dark Matter
Anti-MatterPS.
I linked her outfits and looks in her profile. Only main difference i think would be the hair colour
Gotcha. Well, Dark Matter is off the list. After all, for the astronomers scanned all the sky using all colors of the spectrum. And they never found any evidence that it exists. Anti-matter can be detected, but in minute amounts. So, Radiation is the only logical choice.

Wonderful introduction, by the way!
If you mean me, I appreciate it. Wasn't sure if it covered the needed points. Yours I too think covered the looks of her
Though since my description of people etc is somewhat bad, I went with the picture link in her profile. Barring the red hair
Father is Japanese, mother is English.

Dealing with half-night's sleep and currently half-asleep. Making a coffee. Once it kicks in will catch up on the gameplay.
Will also organize/update my profile (though that might not be until tomorrow).
Where is Zion City located?

Where is Zion City located?
In, as the DC Universe book says, the Central US. In Missouri.

Thank you. I googled it and top results said there was not a Zion City in the DC universe.
Bit late, thanks for the invite! :)

Hope im not over stepping with how she acts. im just seeing it that shes been on a short leash most of her life, finally being able to explore, a lot of things are just exciting and new to her, so shes a bit reckless. i have a few other thoughts about the current scenario if people want to ask. nothing NSFW, i just feel i should offer instead of just blurt it out on the boards :P i can always spoiler it too

I'm good with it, and am comfortable with how the Young Justice series handled such developments with the 'fade to black/cut to different scene' after showing the characters start to kiss technique.
There's something about Jessie ** spoiler omitted **
Parker is hetero, though would be not opposed to poly, as his outlook has been more shaped by 80's romantic comedies, which typically depicted 'the boy gets the girl'/'the girl gets the boy' monogamously. A primary goal he would have regarding any romantic relationship(s) he develops is that he does not do anything to hurt his partner(s) feelings.
In a theoretical situation that the girls are both trying to seduce him into kissing one of them before the other one, he might get flustered as he does not want to hurt either of their feelings by kissing the other one. So such a situation would probably resolve by whichever girl kisses Parker first.
Based on the dynamic Catrina has with her grandmother, Parker's attraction to her might grow.
For the Archie comics veterans amongst us: so far from Parker's perspective, Catrina is the 'Betty' and Jessie is the 'Veronica'.
His ya-yas' advice to him, summed up is "Treat women as if you are interested in courting them but not as if you are already courting them."

7 is max non-powered human limit for attributes. Is there a maximum number of skill ranks for non-powered humans?
I did not see one mentioned in The Basics or Skills chapters, and some of the high DC examples include things non-powered humans can do.

Thanks.
Parker's perception 'training' was initially from playing sports, then babysitting his younger cousins, then during his brief time of petty crime: to make sure no potential witnesses were paying attention to him before pickpocketing and during his joy rides (to prevent car crashes).

Miss Calaveras |

I'm not necessarily looking for romance or the like. This is high school, though, so I'm not opposed to crushes and drama and such. These things happen!
That said, Catrina's a relatively innocent farm girl who's got a permanent chaperone (that she doesn't always appreciate). So it's another complication.

As a roleplayer, I do not want to read the girls locker room spoilers.
Viewing the campaign as if it was a series we are watching, I want to read the spoilers (as viewers see all the scenes).
Which way would you prefer us to treat such spoilers: as roleplayers/non-viewers or as viewers?
